  1. Pinnacle and Life changing o.O

Well Key, was on this server. Key taught me how to build and how to PvP, and with him leaving the game I felt like someone should pick up in his place, so kinda chaged me.

Key has returned, but the trader is on Virtue with those damn RPers...

Anyway... Pinnicale made my 23rd birthday last monday. When almost everyone in RL forgot (including parents) it was these bums on pinnacle that stayed up all night on Vent me, all of us taking shots of vodka, hennesy, or Jack. They made My B-day, so thankyou......for the hangover......j/k.

    Thanks all.

    Ninja.

  3. ahh, didn't know the lolfiteclub was a nitch. He is built for Zone pvp, I just usually don't have fraps running all the time.
I will make a note to add more clips of zone FFA and zone teams, and not just standing under the globe. Could you send me a PM about what fiteclub style is, when I asked about your vids I was being serious and not sarcastic.
  4. last I checked this was about offering insight in to pvp builds, not trying to make a mockery of those who are trying to help.

    Do you have any videos?
  6. Claws has a build up, the power is called [Follow Up] which can also be stacked giving a person one hell of a damage boost. here's my claws/regen build. Be advised I swapped out all the Doc wounds for the new pvp IO heal set for the extra rech/ regen.

This Is My build on NinjaVampyre, 400 Rep and hyolding there. If you have any questions on how it works I have a 2 PvP videos on youtube, link in my signature. Hope it helps.

Also I've replaced all the Doc wounds with the new PvP IO set, this allows me to net 175% global rech along with more 30% more regen. Not to mention the 8 other bonuses I recieve.

  8. I might not know brutes due to me not having one, but I do know what ones have challenged my toon in the past. and they were WP, Thus I say WP. I find fire way to easy to kill, but that is just my personal opinion.
  9. Mids has been wrong since the i13 update. I went through the whole flurry phase when i13 first came out.

I fear to many people are realying on mids data to make their case on these fourms. I have created my own spread sheet of data that I've collected for unslotted melee damage/activation time/ end usage in zone PvP @ lvl 50. I've also stated another spread of pool powers.

I sent you a PM about your request and also an in game tell.
Looking forward to seeing you in the arena.

I highly doubt you spend more time pvping then me, but I'm not going to argue with an peon like you.

Anywho, I'm talking bout zone PvP, more RV then the other zones. I have not seen since i13 any Dom come into RV on the pinnacle server that isn't demolished.

There's my 2 cents for the topic.

if you want any type of therm corr go rad. I have a Rad/therm corr on pinnacle that will take down any regen. with dominators in pvp...I tend to stay away for they do decent damage but dont have the HPs or staying power vs. a scrapper/tank/brute/stalker/blaster.

    [/ QUOTE ]
OK, baddo. A well-built and well-played Dominator can beat just about anything.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, baddo? Like I mentioned a dom has decent damage, but if you have spent any time in i13-i14 PvP you'll notice that doms can't hold their own against any half built toon. I honestly can say that any dom would get owned by my scrapper.
  12. I'll start off with Broadsword. Heavy hitter but come with a catch 22; heavy end cost. You'll only basically use 3-4 attacks from the BS set on a PvP build, but the end drain on each of those powers can be too much for a toon not proporly built.

Martial Arts is less end cost but less damage then broad sword.

Both sets have a build up power and both sets have heavy animation times compared to Claws/Spines/Fire/katana.

it's more or less your own preference, would you like powerful hits with more end drain, or would you like a faster attack chain with a tad less damage.

I have a Claws/ Regen Scrapper that I love. to me it's the prefect balance due to short animation times and little to no end cost. might not be the heavy hitter, but I have the staying power to take down almost anything that goes toe to toe with me.
  13. ok, WP is the way to go hands down. also another primary that goes great with WP is Energy melee, but as of i13 SS is hands down #1.

I have to disagree with the first response you got. Fire is hands down one of the worst for PvP i have found. They have no knockback protection to start out with and yes you can get about 8 points of KB protection but that's with a gimped build and for a scrapper like mine with a power that has an 18.32 mag KB, that 8 points wont help a lick.
Invuln and WP both have KB protection, but IMO WP is the best of the best for brutes.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me ingame @ninjavampyre, which is my global.
  14. ok you had many questions and If I fail to answer them all just PM me and I'll input my 2 cents.

First the Cold armor/ Super Strength is a great tanker build for PvP, so you're in great shape with that.

now with tankers vs. Scrappers. Tankers get more hp and can survive longer, but scrappers get the deadly critical strikes, and regen scrappers can max out at 2409.5 HP.
I have a regen and have tanken down more then enough to put me at Rep cap.

For stalkers, yes the sneak and attack are a mainly their one way of fighting, they have less HP then hero side scrappers, but with hid and placate they can usually get the jump on most things, just don't expect them to take down any tanks or brutes 1 v 1.

honestly I would stay away from defenders in PvP. not enough damage or hitpoints for my likings, but to each their own. Blasters are a great replacement for hero side ranged and I'm enjoying my sonic/energy melee blaster. another great PvP blaster build is Psy blast/ Mental manipulation. can eat through almost anything and grants you the drian psyhce power.

Corruptors are another fav of mind. and yes a Dark blast/ cold domintation corrutors are fine to PvP with. I have one infact. Also other good corruptor build is a rad/therm.

If you have any PvP questions feel free to contact me ingame @ninjavmpyre, which is my global.
