My main is a scrapper with regen. I would definately take the following powers from regen set; Reconstruction, Quick Recovery, Dull Pain, Integration and Instant Healing. The rest are marginal ones and upto personal preference.

But the 5 stated IMHO are necessary to get the most from regen, especially if using regen with a stalker...if you take dmg and you will, then you need to minimalise the effects and be able to recover faster.

Didn't check that out before posting...Haven't played a stalker for a while...keep getting them to mid teens then deleting them...have just rolled another one as claws/sr, so will no doubt be finding out pros and cons very shortly.

Ok...going to do Katie Hannon TF in Croatoa on Thursday 23rd. Anyone welcome...but will need to be minimum of lvl 25 to get into zone...preferably higher than 30 if possible.

Surely MoG would be a waste in PvP? Spoke to many people about using MoG and it is absolutley rubbish in PvP!, especially against toxic or psionics! so using in PvP would guarantee debt 100%.

Villains is a ghost town most of the time....levelling to 50, we won't see you on another alt then until at least Easter 2008, more likely Christmas 2008

I like my scrapper...and can handle most solo...except those blasted FF MM's, who rock...

In a well built team, I would enjoy playing an empath def, or my ill/kin controller when he is a higher lvl (only lvl 14 currently)

Katie Hannon sounds good...last thing I need for The Geas of the kind ones badge....only 2.3 bars from 50 now... keep me posted...think we need 5 or 6 people to do the tf?

Getting back to the post at hand...my lvl 20 MM necro/poison has a back story where he was an undertaker, and so my minnions are called Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Kurt Cobain. Elvis will no doubt be my lich... which leaves 1 more musical genius to find.

On Thursday 23rd November, My soon to be lvl 50 Claws/Regen scrapper is looking to do any respec trial, Katie Hannon's TF or the Abandoned Sewer Trial.... Looking to start any of these at 18:30 or 19:00 (GMT) depending on what suits best.

I personally like collecting badges and as such would say I am a badger (not the small black and white animal either). However, I think that intentionally exploiting bugs or gaining badges without hard graft is soooo bad. I would like to congratulate PeeWee for his achievement...2.5 mnths is a long time, so well done mate. I want the PvP badges, but know that I will gain tons of debt in my pursuit of these achievements, I definately do not want to follow the quick guide posted earlier...

After reading all your posts...if I decide to roll another Def, then will probably have to be a storm/dark one...

I have 3 defenders personally; an empath/nrg (Cepheus), a sonic/sonic (Talskiar) and a rad/rad (Kryton-X429). Each one of them has different pro's and con's.

I prefer playing Talskiar as can attack and defend simultaneously, but depends on other players in team...as have played in some weak teams, where I earn more debt than xp...Cepheus is easy to play if all I want to do is get the healing badges as energy attacks have mgea end drain. Kryton has only been active for 3-4 weeks, so still getting to know his strengths and weaknesses!

Whose your favourite and why?

Nice Guide Cognito...will come in handy for me, as my rad/rad has just hit lvl 11. Have just taken Electron Haze at lvl 10, and like the dmg output, but as a power it's against the rad/rad debuff theory. Probably will respec this character later, as best way to learn what powers work and which don't is by personally testing them during game.

Will add this post to my favourites I think.
