The main thing I've learned from the final mission, is that you actually need to wack the nictus with gauntlet to pull them away. Tanks/Brutes, bruisers or any thing else with a taunt effect, actually needs to hit them. Taunt on its own does nothing to pull them away.
As for dealing with the surgeons: a nice bind to help;
/bind key "target_custom_next Surgeon" means you can find the surgeons in the mob and eliminate them quickly.
[/ QUOTE ]
When I ran through it I was one hitting the surgeons with my BS/SR (so not just a stalker thing) I didn't bother with a bind though as they look just like the engineers that were also detrimental to our team so was just working through them first
[/ QUOTE ]Yep, hit the foes with long red caps first....!! -

Good to have you onboard. Not teamed for ages WF.
All we need now is Aero, to say he'll join.... LOL. -
Been hearing good things about this TF, so it's about time I gave it a try.
As stated in other threads, you must have completed the Midnight Squad arc and become a member of the Midnighter Club, to gain access to Cimerora. Lvls 35-50 welcome, but would prefer to have at least 4 x 50.
Please don't post here, use this Link to join up! Many Thx Evil doers -

Due to the shear number of villains you fight it also seems to be pretty good for salvage drops (I got my second ever Hamidon Goo - yay) so I reckon this TF could become the farmers choice.
[/ QUOTE ]Know the feeling.... only ever seen 1 Soul Trapped Gem from a drop, and that was in March this year... 11 months after i11 began.
This TF sounds pretty awesome already, will have to make a conserted effort to have a go this weekend. -
2 hours roughly, maybe 2.5 ... and most of us got the Mu Gladiator badge.... but that TT one ain't easy. We averaged 10 TT's per run....and needed 19+ runs to do it. Think we managed 8-9...
If you want to finish this sometime Kinetik, then i'll join as 2/3 the way there... was a good laugh thou! -
I have all 4 of my crafting badges on Nine. I got the 3rd and 4th badges before I even had my worktable. Most of my crafting came from base salvage into component salvage.
However, I must have crafted over 500 IOs on that one alt aone, if not more. My base has tons of IOs stored in it, for my poorer and lower toons to use. -
Need both this badges on Nine Claws, and am free on Sunday at 10am.... so count me in.
Send me an ingame tell as may be on another alt at the time. -

I wouldn't even consider joining a PuG unless i'm told at least the level of foe we're fighting/what they're doing. Like to know what i'm getting myself into, never *that* desperate to team with random people
[/ QUOTE ]Surely, by your definition alone... that's not a blind invite. If someone asks you to join, tells you what foe etc... then thats a visible invite.
But to carry on... Blind Invites sent to me are just blindly refused. If I get persistent invites, then /ignore **** occurs.
It takes 5 seconds to talk to another person... politeness always helps in trying to get people to join your team. -

45 days, you sure...???? I'm pretty positive that I've had mine set to 60 days + before... Will have to check that out!
[/ QUOTE ]I'll save you the time Nine Claws, I've got my one set to a 100 days you can increase the amount of days before demotion.
[/ QUOTE ]Thought as much, checked mine and it was set at 90 days!!! -

Also when he said Cash, he meant prestige. And not just the prestige bonus, but the fact that all characters below lvl 25, can earn prestige (for the SG) without it affecting their personal xp intake. -
I still need this badge on my main badger (Phlox), so willing to help.
We need to know the cycle between sunrise and sunset, so we can maximise the reward for minimum effort.
I'm free from 2pm-9pm, unless I get involved with a tf/sf. -
On my main badger I am missing 3 of the Safeguard mission badges, so I need your help in getting them.
I'm free anytime from 6pm to 9pm on Monday 28th April, Can anyone help???
I need the badges from Steel Canyon, Talos Island and Brickstown.
Any help will be much appreciated!!! Thanks -
As this would be your first tank, I'd advise not jumping in at the deep end.... Stone/Stone needs a lot of patience, as before stamina is available, you'll get frustrated with endurance problems (constant resting between mobs at times, especially when soloing).
As mentioned previously stone melee is very end heavy, at least until slotted with SO enhancements.
Mind you an invul/SS tank is far too soft an option for 1st tank... so I'd advice you to take a fire or ice primary (defence) at first, just to make sure tanking is for you... then go for stone....! I say this as my stone/stone is only just at level 27 now (altitus and boredom being the main reasons), after 18 months or so...! -

Used between those 2 powers you should have them running out after a 3rd of the ticks and then running back in for the remaining 3rd if they don't resist fear

Looking to do another LRSF after completing my first one succesfully last Saturday. Also going to run an all villain LGTF if anyone's interested?
[u]Sat 3rd May - 14:30 BST - Lady Grey TF[u]
1. Phlox - 50 - SS/NRG Brute
[u]Sun 4th May - 14:30 BST - Lord Recluse SF[u]
1. Phlox - 50 - SS/NRG Brute
Please mention which one you want to do, if not doing both? -
Can do either LGTF or LRSF on Saturday 3rd May (during the afternoon) .... if anyone's interested?
-
Wd Defcon, 8 is impressive ... so near to my 3rd now, I can almost touch it... and it also proves Defiant is the place to be!!!

Probably the best LRSF ive done so thanks to everyone.
[/ QUOTE ]That's good to know that my first one, was your best one. That also kept up my 100% success record on 1st attempts... have completed STF, MoSTF and now LRSF on the very first attempt....think MoLRSF will be hardest one yet though....
Grats to all who took part, who were :-
1. Phlox - SS/NRG Brute
2. Aconitine - Thugs/Poison MM
3. Cybian - Robots/Traps MM
4. Tsumiju - Nin/Nin Stalker
5. Arctic Tyrant - Ice/Cold Corr
6. Pside Winder - GRav/Psi Dom
7. Chaos Flame - Fire/Fire Brute
8. Arisen Rad - Rad/Rad Corr
I was most pleased with the fact that I picked up 5 badges along the way, then at the end I got Numina +Regen +Rec as my recipe reward... so was definitely worth the 2hrs 33 mins of gametime.
Apologies to Death Craft, as they turned up after we had formed the team (and a good 30 minutes late, LOL) ... Maybe next time! -
1. Phlox - SS/NRG Brute
2. Death Craft - Necro/Dark MM
3. Aconitine - Thugs/Poison MM - TBC
4. Tsumiju - Nin/Nin Stalker
5. @Blind_Minotaur - Dom ???
Rotten Seed had to pull out, so still need 3 people. If anyone knows of anyone else who would be interested, that would be great. -
Being as my main is a Claws/Regen, I'd offer the following advice.
1. You don't need Stamina.
2. You don't need Conserve Power either.
3. Leadership pool should be left to Defenders or Controllers, as Scrappers don't benefit as much.
4. Glad to see neither of you took MoG, haven't tried the new version, but the old one sucked big time!!!
Also taking 2 travel powers seems pointless, even for PvP.
Scrappers, like Tankers should never run, take the hits like a man.
Personally I took AS then Flight. As Eiceman said Thabo, 2 attacks before lvl 20 is not good... If you take AS at lvl 6, that gives you another attack power.
I will post my optimum build as soon as I decide on the last power, as I have Confront at the moment, which I respec'd in, and have never used... LOL. And once I have worked out how to use IO sets in Mids Builder too. -
1. Phlox - SS/NRG Brute
2. Death Craft - Necro/Dark MM
3. Aconitine - Thugs/Poison MM - TBC
4. Tsumiju - Nin/Nin Stalker
5. @Blind_Minotaur - Dom ???
6. Rotten Seed (@Fusion Fury) - Plant/Thorn Dom
We could do with 2 corruptors then we will be all set.
As I've never done this before, I assume we meet by Lord Recluse, situated by his Patrons? -
1. Phlox - SS/NRG Brute
2. Death Craft - Necro/Dark MM
3. Aconitine - Thugs/Poison MM - TBC
4. Tsumiju - Nin/Nin Stalker
5. @Blind_Minotaur - Dom ??? -
1. Phlox - SS/NRG Brute
2. Death Craft - Necro/Dark MM
3. Uzzi - Nin/SR Stalker
4. @Soulsearch - Thugs/Poison MM - TBC
5. Tsumiju - Nin/Nin Stalker
Remaining slots reserved for corrs or doms only.
Otherwise we've got no hope in hell of finishing it!!!
