  1. Confirming OP.

    15 minute raid, Champion server.
4 Incarnate SHards dropped from Mitochondria defeats, 4 from end menu.
Many others got shard drops as well.

But that's probably elitist talk again ...
We're already pulling BM anyway, it works to a degree. I mean, the point of the mission is to kill BM as quickly as possible the first time, then kill her as quickly as possible the second time. The waves are a timesink/delay tactic. It's innovative for the game, so kudos for that.

Anyway, it's just a question of getting used to it; like Cathedral of Pain I'll do this for the badges, never do it again then switch back to ITF/LGTF/LRSF/STF and a Tin Mage every now and then for the double shard drop at the end.

If a 15-30 minute strat develops for the new TFs, great. I expect that the mobs being 54s will likely not be an incentive for that sort of thing though.
  3. I'm pretty torn on the new TFs.

Tin Mage is perfect. Director 11 is annoying but not invincible. The last fight isn't crazy, very fun with some interesting foes. The second mission is fantastic, great dialogue and back and forth. A+ for this.

Apex is definitely more tedious. The first mission is slogging through hotspots outside then more inside the sewers, then too many War Walkers. Animating the police drones is nice.

The second mission isn't fun at all and extremely tedious. We managed the first part fairly easily but the second part is where it breaks down; the "Halberd Death Waves" should at least not spawn at the entrance to the outside area. They also seem to zone in on rezzing characters.
Our groups spent a lot of time running around the waves, pulling Battle Maiden, attacking her, then we'd have a few party members die to the Death Waves. We'd rebuff, try again and boom, more deaths to the Halberds. At that point, we'd tried three or four times with each team and decided it wasn't fun/enjoyable so we all went to run ITFs.

If anything, I'd definitely tweak the second mission of Apex a bit (don't spawn death waves at entrance, reduce unresisted damage). Tin Mage is just right.
  4. Cold Dom.

Roll a Cold/Sonic, make some friends, always win.
  5. U r nuttin but lewt h04rd3r g3kk0.

I haven't been able to do the new stuff yet, but it sounds awesome.
I am loving the Incarnate System though, so flexible, so powerful and so simple all at once. Great work there by the Devs

Nope, but it looks like Arena temps work.

  8. Thanks all, was fun...suite seats to see my bottom-feeding hockey team, fun fun; at least they got heckled a lot hehe.
  9. Here's the funny thing about respecing for the new Fitness.

Those that could benefit the most from it among my characters likely won't be respecing into the new mods.

My Sonic/Sonic Corr would likely end up taking the Leadership pool (which she already has) and a Patron Pool (which she already has). While I'll enjoy the free buffs they will, at most, give me extra Patron Pool space.

My Regen Scrapper, however, is going to LOVE having inherent Fitness on BOTH builds on top of the usual Regen craziness. Can't wait for it!

  10. Thanks
    See you ingame everyone.

It's pretty much a "Log in for a door prize" thing for BMTers.
Prizes go from decent uncommons to purples to LOTG 7.5 to HOs, a few PvP IOs, costume salvage...and an INF donation with each email.

If you're in BMT you might get random picked., I might just drop something in your email Xmas stocking anyway, you never know.

    Thanks for the kudos.

My next one is based on the Paris 1919 peace talks...with Woodrow Wilson as the contact. Expecting a lot of heat from history buffs on this one, but should be interesting.

Yes there is a space between Marsha & Mallow. So it's "@Marsha Mallow"

    Good luck to everyone.
    It doesn't work this way.

Be in BMT of Champion from December 1 to Jan 1.
I'll log in, look at the users online and randomly gift one of them.
Around the winter holidays, two people will get the basic IO prize.

There will be no duplicate winners (except perhaps the person who wins the basic IO prize may already have one), so if you're on...Santa should give you some coal or some candy.
  14. Most of my characters have leaping and super speed.

Mine is called "A Death in the Gish", lowbie mission.
  16. I have too many IOs, HO, etc stored.

Three bins heroside, 6-7 bins villside plus another 3 bins in my 'storage' villainbase.

Starting December 1 and going all the way to New Year's, I will be choosing a random person in BMT of Champion global channel and sending them inf + IO or inf + a recipe.
They could be anything from a Posi proc to uniques to purples to an occasional PvP IO.

As a bonus, the week of December 25 to January one, I will be doing a random draw for two people to get BASIC IOs crafted, between level 35-45.
The lucky person will get 30 basic IOs of their choice (salvage availability permitting, of course!). Basic IOs are Invention: X, and not IOs producing a Set Bonus. For example, Invention: Accuracy is a basic IO and Glimpse of the Abyss is not. The winner will be notified by email and their global posted in this thread. IOs will be mailed to you asap, again given salvage and so on.

    Game on, Champion!

  17. Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone in our rag-tag group that showed up and gave their best effort.

Peril for the IOs and pointing me to Exit.
Exit for being top notch on Blasting.
PF for showing up and adding his share of Blasting proficiency.
Philly for just having fun and being on point with the Therm.
Joe for sticking through it early, adding some nice trow psi as well.

Thanks everyone, fun group, see you on Sundays.
  18. A&C vs. dUmb

    7-6 A&C Graveyard
    10-3 A&C Graveyard
    12-1 dUmb Outbreak

    GGs
  19. Tentatively scheduling for Thursday between 9:30 pm and 10:00 pm vs. dUmb, if that's cool with Psoma.

Doubt we can get a full line-up but whee...has to be done.
  20. I won't be able to make either of the next two Saturdays, so we're trying to resked with dUmb since I think we still need to play them.

So far we might do Thursday night, but it might be 3 v 3 unless Joe or Exit can make that day.
  21. Most concerned about this:

"The Incarnate System gives our high-level players more insight into what makes them, frankly, so freaking awesome but it is also a vehicle to introduce them to new high-end raids."

Hamidon Raid is passable to quite fun.
Cathedral of Pain is a huge pain in the neck. Sure you can blitz it in 8 minutes, or you can just be tearing your hair out.
Rikti War Zone raid is great, fantastic execution there.

My concern is...I hope the rewards from these are tradeable/sellable on the Market or to other players. At the very least, if the rewards are Incarnate shards or Merits, make sure other avenues exist to obtain these shards.

The last thing this game needs is the raid treadmill, devolving into elitisim etc. etc...something which exists only in a small capacity in this game.
  22. A&C vs. EZ Kills

    1-0 A&C (forfeit)
    1-0 A&C (forfeit)
    1-0 A&C (forfeit)
  23. Partner's friend gave a free trial, it got given to me and I bought a second account.

I have to admit I was very dubious about a game with a recurring subscrption model, but the costume creator hooked me and it was pretty fun once I made some friends ingame...so here I am five years later.
