Hmm, not sure what to think of all this. I expected the reduced rewards to prevent farming, but I'll have to see for myself just by how much it is reduced and if I then can still be bothered with it.

The limitation of the amount of missions able to make is again something I can understand; hopefully it will stimulate to have quality rather than quanity.

Also the devs involvement in favouring certain missions to remove limits sounds like a bad move to me. I imagine they have better things to do then try and pick "the best" mission across servers. Why not have others from NCsoft (and not just the US) involved in the selection and reviewing.

Ah of course; when I used the deluxe for my first account Pocket D didn't even exist. I do remember the prestige power slide, a badge and the deluxe cape. Unfortunately I can't check the game since I don't have it at hand, and I'm not even sure it's listed there either (since it isn't in the CoV collector's edition).

Ah my bad, the website I looked at listed it as a vip power and I assumed that it was the pocket D tp. Or is the vip power the power slide that you get and is it double listed.

I tried searching for it elsewhere but I got too many unrelated hits to make sense of it.

I wouldn't say WoW is faster than here and you don’t need a team in either game (arguably both depend on the archetype/class you play).

Well it's definitely slow with a MM robotic/FF to start missions, but once I have a mission it's alright. Still I take way much longer in CoV than in WoW; I don't see myself hitting 50 with 15 days /played; which I did in WoW (70 in 15 days played = total time spent in-game on a certain character).

And most often I play with 2 characters at once; so it's not exactly solo either.

Well I loved the enforcer outfit, so if it's anything like it I'm happy. Well, even if it's anything unlike it, I'd still be happy because it's then something ... different.

Either way, since I'm a sucker for cyborg dingdoodles (I almost fainted when I saw Robocop - tho the name is silly since he's obviously a cyborg, but oh well) I'll probably buy whatever cyborg package is offered.

Uhm no, if you buy City of Villains Collector's Edition you get the Arachnos symbol, which can be attached to both capes and chest. That is, if we're only talking about the in-game items.

Well I hope to gain at least *something* out of playing player created missions; otherwise what's the point. Just playing to 'read' the story isn't what I'm looking for; then I'd just rather finish reading some books.

From what I understood is that there would be some reward just not enough to make it worth while to farm but enough to play the missions.

Well, lucky me. I've never had the habit of calling people mate. I always get this weird feeling that when someone calls another mate that they're consenting to a mutual mating ritual.

The only advantage with WoW is that you can level fairly quick; and there are no teams required to do so.

The huge drawback however is that once you hit the level cap, it's the time to get the stuff you need so you can hit the instances that gives you more stuff you need so that eventually after many hours of doing many instances over and over you can start raiding for even more stuff you 'need'. That is of course if you can find a raiding group that fits the build you currently have, and where they still need the class that you happen to play. Oh and of course many raid guilds assume you are already raid ready.

Other characters I've seen in game where names with Pheonix something, or something pheonix. Or the Miss, Ms, Mr, theif and other spelling mistakes.

On that topic, I once got flamed for spelling game boy color as game boy colour. All I can say in defense is that I was raised with British English in class (not native obviously).

I have no problems with supers using weaponry. I use supers because well they can be heroes or villains alike and still be supers. And I imagine if they wield a gun they do so with such an exceedingly superior skill that no common person could do the same.

So in that thinking, it's not the weapon/instrument that's being used that is important, but how it's being used. Except in a game like CoX you probably have to add a bit of creative thinking, hmm, maybe a lot, ah well as long as you can convince yourself you're doing alright.

Yup, you need to ticket this with a request that they upgrade your account. Explain that you have the Deluxe edition and that it has to be added to your current account - since you cannot do this yourself. Then they will guide you through the steps necessary. That's how they did it with me.

You won't see it in your account details, but once you log on you'll find the items have been added.

Yup I did indeed. I bought the deluxe afterwards because I wanted to have access to the same stuff on both accounts - excluding veteran rewards.

I'm also wondering if some aren't jumping the gun with disappointments. After all not all facts are known about Issue 13, don't forget the "more" part in the announcement.
