Hmm. I missed all the drama, but to tell you the truth I'd probably have missed it even if I was playing on Wed.

A lot of what's said in chats is lost on me. Either because it's scrolling by so fast, or because I'm concentrating so much on what's happening on the screen that I read 1 line out of 6. I often miss the requests for me to turn off steamy mist. I've also missed people saying they're mezzed. Should I be concerned that I'll piss people off?

As for Voo and Hamster, I always thought this was their routine, like Ralph Kramden and Ed Norton. I never took it seriously. Was I supposed to?

I have a 7:30 appointment and if I'm lucky I'll be late, if you're lucky I won't make it at all.

Same goes for next week, I have to go to an award thing for my kid and the school stuff tends to be dragged out.

For all I know it might. I pre-ordered Sims 3 CE and it's $70. I've never paid $70 for any Sims game before, though I did buy every expansion and there were a lot of them.

But it's not a full on boxed game. If that's what someone wants, they can buy and play that.

This is an MMO and should really only be compared to other MMOs. In that sense, it's been cheaper than most for the last 5 years. Man up and pay the salaries for the cool stuff you (general you, not Kong-you) want. The game can't expand the hired help, and run servers, and give free content on $15 a month forever. And some players don't pay $15 because they pre-pay.

The problem with people that have no personal business experience is that they fail to realize the rising cost of expenses besides workers salaries and benefits. Rent goes up, electric and gas goes up, insurance goes up, etc. etc. Believe me, it doesn't go down in a bad economy either. If CoH/V had a boxed expansion every year that had to be paid for I could understand players getting annoyed, but 2 in 5 years? Give me a break.

This might not be out for a year. They may have leaked it now to put and end to the farming MA stuff and take attention away from the release of CO which will be Soon™.

Start putting away a dollar a week and you might have enough saved up by the time this comes out. How anyone expects stuff to be free forever, on their $15 a month, is beyond me. BTW, most games are pay by the month AND pay for expansions. The players here that have never played any other MMO are spoiled.

Wait, we always think of having a car as actually driving around the streets of the game. But what if they could do something like this: We create a vehicle the way we do characters, but it's a summonable power, like the Ouroboros teleport thingy. You summon the car, but only on a road or in a parking lot. All players can see it, then only you (and maybe members of your team) can click it to zone anywhere in the game that you would be able to drive to. Other players would see it sort of whoosh off and disappear. I'd be happy with that.
