I dunno, every time I see the new jeans I can't help but wonder if the art team was listening to the Booty song from The Boondocks.

    "Booty b-booty b-b-b-booty butt CHEEKS!"

    Botched ritual.

At first, I got the Botched Ritual debuff and thought, "Haha that makes sense. Must go away in about 5 minutes or something."

1 hour later, I find out in Help channel that it's a 20 hour debuff. I think, "I'll go play and alt, hit the sack and come back in a day or so."

Two days later and I still have the debuff.

    SERIOUSLY? IN-GAME HOURS?

I distinctly remember the Mac Excel having 3 less functions than the Windows Excel. I can't remember which, I just remember being very upset when I found out they weren't cross-platform functions.

No. It's like it was written to be less efficient than the Windows native version. There are even a few features missing, especially in Excel.

    I wouldn't recommend it.

Also, please spend some significant time playing the mac client and relaying all of your feelings to us.

EDIT: If you could also tell the resident Web guy to update the HTML for the Mac client, that'd be great. It's not the Winter Event any more.

I swear, one of these days I'm going to write up a list of the most overused/misused terms on these forums.

At the top of the list:

    Ad Hominem
    Caveat Emptor
    Red Herrings
    Disingenuous

I wish I could say the same about the Male version of that hair.

Unfortunately, I can't, since it looks like someone ran it through a wind tunnel after throwing it in a washing machine.

I think you might need to face the fact that there are too many holes in your argument for you to cover.

Yeah, I have ONE female character and decided to give her a casual outfit. Needless to say her backside went from Scarlett Johansson to Beyonce in a matter of seconds. Startled me.

It's like they took Criss Angel's hair and injected it with steroids, then beat it with an ugly stick.

I cannot express how abysmally ugly that hair is.

  14. Yeah, I'm not touching this pack with a 50 yard stick. Between this and the... downright stupid 'Male Dyed Hair Long', I don't think it's worth spending points on.
  15. Using some /settitle magic, I gave Nalrok Ath'Zim the 'Behemoth Overlord' badge. >:]

I'm a bit of an InDesign junkie so replicating the documents in question hasn't been the problem. The problem is the time I'm spending on it (both reconstructing the originals and cleaning up after the last guy), piled atop the task of accurately billing clients for it (e.g. billing the client for 2 out of 5 hours of work, since 3 hours were spent fixing the problem the last designer left behind).

    Whew. Run-on sentence, sort of.

You're telling me. Right now at my company, the previous designer (whom I replaced) left NO editable files for repeat event print ads. That's right, out of the 9 things I have to configure for printing this month, I have NO InDesign files to edit.
  18. Here's what I'd like to see, especially for co-op. Let's take.... Actually, let's go all out here and say the devs decide to write origin-specific arcs.

After a Keyes Trial: Science/Tech/Mutation origin Villain characters are given a tip style contact. Upon clicking Investigate:

    Quote:
    Holding the Keyes to Power

What a rush that was. Even though you just spent time fighting alongside capes and cowls from Paragon, you got the opportunity to beat on one of Praetoria's greatest scientific minds: Dr. Raymond Keyes, AKA Anti-Matter. Now, Keyes is recuperating from the savage thrashing you and your allies gave him. That leaves his lovely reactors unguarded for the time being. Now would be the perfect time to muscle the remaining WarWorks aside and tap in to that sweet, sweet power.

Infuse yourself with power from Anti-Matter's reactors, then get out of Praetoria!
A small buff similar to The Flames of Prometheus could be given.

In the interest of fairness, Science/Technology/Mutation Hero characters could do something identical with a different story idea:

    Quote:
    Holding the Keyes to Power

Justice has been delivered once again, this time in a move that will surely delay Praetoria's war effort. Dr. Raymond Keyes, Anti-Matter himself, suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of both yourself and your fellow freedom fighters. The Keyes Island reactors are unguarded for the time being, and you find yourself wondering if there's a way to bring such clean energy to Paragon, even for a limited time.

Encapsulate a sample of the power from the Keyes Reactors, then get it back to Paragon City!
This would allow an even playing field, and an opportunity for both heroes and villains to get the small temp buff.

All of this is a hypothetical, of course, but it would really add flavor to BOTH sides of the game. Everyone wins.

  20. Can someone please update the HTML called by the mac version of the NCLauncher? It's still showing stuff for the Winter Event.
  21. Well, I like it better than the "bend over backwards and thrust out your junk" defeat post EVERY NPC seemed to have prior to this.
  22. So if I only have 3 non-set Recharge IO's in Build Up am I disqualified?

I'm done. I'm just done with this. No one is going to read this thread anymore, they're just going to run in and either argue semantics or ***** and moan about people wanting to destroy the world.

I really, really, REALLY, REALLY wish people would READ THE THREAD before coming in and immediately beating the dead horse that everyone's already beaten two or three hundred times earlier in the discussion.
