    Doesn't mean I'm going to stop pushing for better redside writing. I'd be willing to bet that if the shoe was on the other foot, you'd be clamoring for better hero writing like I am for villain writing.

    We've been doing that over and over and over and over again. We shouldn't have to keep using the same excuse every time new content comes out. I have a great number of villains. They are not all the same. They do not all care whether or not the world blows up tomorrow. They wouldn't lift a finger to help the heroes.

    Please don't compare the two. You guys get 4-5 badges out of going red, getting your powers and swapping back alone. Sure, we get APP's for free but we still get shoehorned into being heroic everywhere else in the end game.

    I can't remember if this was confirmed or not, but it's my understanding that the self-affecting portions of these upcoming "new" powers do not need to hit enemies to work. Is this true?

    EDIT: Also will the "new" powers be receiving any visual changes?
  11. Will the heal/absorb/recovery of the new Manipulation powers be enhanceable? For example, after I24 is implemented, will I be able to slot a Healing Enhancement into Blazing Aura in Fire Manipulation?

    That was a great, great flick. It was nice to see a horror movie you had to think about that didn't rely on an entire orchestra going "HWHONK" every time something relatively unsettling appeared on screen.

    That'd be interesting. On top of that they COULD up the range on the non-snipe sets to compensate somehow. Or, hell, they could strengthen the secondary effects.

    Honestly, the recent AT 'upgrades' have been pretty phenomenal, and the numbers team is really on the ball as of late. I have a feeling that whatever they do with the non-snipe sets will make them just as desirable as the sets that have snipes.

    EDIT: You know, thinking about it, I've realized Paragon does power/game change in a way that all developers should: instead of nerfing everyone for one set underperforming and/or nerfing one overperforming set (Looking at you, Blizzard), the team brings other sets up to overperforming ones and/or boosts up the one set that's underperforming.

    That's your opinion. It's also subjective. Prior to Assassin's Focus every Stalker I ever played felt anemic and withered when compared to any of my other characters, even my buff-oriented Controllers. The change was for the better and I see absolutely no reason to look down on it. It seems like you're approaching the Stalker changes from a center of resentment, like your favorite AT didn't get the new shiny and you're upset that now an under-performing AT is performing well.

    Good. That's what Stalkers needed.

    By the way, what exactly are you talking about when you say "all the other stalker changes"? The scaling crits? The PBAoE suppression in hide? Those two things happened long before the AS change and the max HP boost, and Stalkers were STILL way underpowered then.

    That theme has been stale for years now. That's what happened.
