I wouldn't build for Regen, I'd build for +Recharge, since you already have Lightning Reflexes available.
  2. Pum, can you post the structure of your data folder? I've tried everything and these darn power icons won't work. Maybe there's something I'm missing. I figure if I make my data folder exactly like yours it ought to work, right?

Guess I won't be buying the Party Pack, then. :/

Come on guys, you can't even take half off the ONE pack that most people refuse to buy?

This company could have a great release or a terrible release but thats all irrelevant. Funny link guy will be posting funny links either way. I'm better than you guy will be same old same old. None of you will ever evolve or change. As such you no longer interest me. We have talked once and I have seen the reply I will always get from you.

Roleplayers are great. They are fun to group with. They come up with new ideas from nothing or constantly. I can run the same mission 5 times and have a new experience each time.

Power Levelers are great. Every time this game changes they adapt and become something new. Even though they claim they have one mission to repeat I have noticed they are always paying attention. They keep an eye out for some new tweak or tidbit of information they may have missed. One little thing can be magnified to become some new cavalcade of experience.

How I feel about these two groups of people was never important. An excuse for you to be the person you will always be was all that was important.

(I have many other 50 AT and I have lots and lots of saved up purple IOs, so thats not an issue)

Also it seems like DM is the better choice for a primary as well, but with more accuracy and recharge in my powers complimenting PS does this change?

I guess, what I am really asking for is help in making the decision between brute and scrapper, as well as KM/SD or DM/SD for end game content. I plan on soloing AV's and doing lots of TF's and badge collection....I just don't know on which toon yet.....any insight you forum gurus could give me would be greatly appreciated.
If you want to solo AV's you should lean towards Brutes. They have higher HP, higher defense/resistance caps, and tend to be able to hold their position in a prolonged fight a little better than Scrappers.

Slotting 3 sets of K-Crash and 3 LotG's will not cause you to lose one 7.5% bonus?
  7. Can anyone confirm or deny the following:

Will Luck of the Gambler +Recharges (7.5%) and Kinetic Crash 6-piece bonuses (7.5%) both stack on eachother toward the 5 bonus limit, or are they separate?

I would. But if I can get away with slotting two sets of K-Crash then I'm gonna go with that over using one slot in CJ (just a LotG) rather than two (one for a Karma and one for a LotG). I'd also like one of my quicker melee attacks to maybe do actual knockback, especially if I'm up against a nasty baddie that needs knocking away, like a Super Stunner or a Sapper or something similar.

That's also a good point. I'm using Acrobatics though. I'm wondering if two full sets of K-Crash (one in KO Blow and another in Haymaker/Punch) would be a good thing. 6 points of KB protection, 15% recharge, and the option to remove Acrobatics if I felt like it. Hmm...

I have seen some SS toons do some amazing things and I think it's a great set and all. But, I also won't play stone armor for personal enjoyment reasons.
I encourage you to try SS to 18. Rage is like a 2-minute Build Up.

(Okay, exaggerating, but way early) You get a solid attack chain with SS way early, and the Rage thing just kicks it into a new world.

I know Energy Melee does great ST damage, but it really is burst, and the attacks come in much later, right?
    KO blow is 8. :P

And yes, your hefty hitters are going to come at 18 and 32 as a Brute-- very bad for low level. Consider the following.

    Quote:
    Dark Melee:
    Shadow Punch
    Smite
    Shadow Maul
    Siphon Life
    Dark Consumption
    Soul Drain
Great ST damage chain, and a Superior Damage attack (that heals!) at 8, an endurance recovery tool at 18 (great at low levels), and a lot of -ToHit which can be a lifesaver for Willpower.

    Quote:
    Super Strength:
    Jab
    Punch
    Haymaker
    Knockout Blow
    Rage
    Hurl
One big chunk of ST damage, great for big boss fights. Knockout Blow, the king of one-hit-wonders at 8. Rage is a godsend for Brutes, and Hurl for those runners.

    Quote:
    Kinetic Melee:
    Quick Strike
    Body Blow
    Smashing Blow
    Power Siphon
    Burst
    Focused Burst
A single AoE, an interesting debuff, a ranged attack for runners, a fun multi-hit buff component, and one of the most lightning fast melee sets available. Think it's slow? Queue up your attacks one after the other (Try Power Siphon>Focused Burst>Smashing Blow>Quick Strike). The animations chain together like one big DoT.

Like i said though....it really doesnt matter much if your building a farmer....you won't be using the St attacks too much anyways.
Just tested it with 4 pieces of K-Crash. It does not turn KU into KB, it just sends my enemies waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay higher.
  13. I'd suggest a different primary. EM is nice, but is very very slow.

    Try KM, DM, or SS.

Any particular reason? I ran the numbers in Mid's... K-Crash gives a pretty nice Acc/Dam addition, and I can't help but think it'd be wicked awesome to boost the knockup of KO-Blow. Nothing says "die" like uppercutting a guy so hard he faceplants the ceiling.

  18. A question for all of you reading this: Would it be worth it to slot an entire set of Kinetic Crash into Knockout Blow for the 7.5% recharge bonus?

  21. I'll warn you up front: I had an SS/WP Brute. Took him to 35.

My god was he boring to play. Sit in the spawn, Foot Stomp until the spawn's dead. Yeehaw. Unless you find ease enjoyable, then disregard my post.

Well that might be one of my first problems, so I'll Mid's one of those babies in. I might also take Hover/Maneuvers just to drop another LotG in, instead of Temperature Protection.

  23. So I've been dinking around in Mid's for two days with this build, and I just cannot seem to be able to boost myself above 35% global recharge. Now I'm no build genius, but I can't for the life of me find sets that'll up my recharge beyond the 5 bonus limit. I have Hasten, I have the sets that offer +Rech, but I do not have the money for purples. I have a Force Feedback Chance For +Rech in Foot Stomp, 4 sets of Crushing Impact, Doctored Wounds, everything I can.

Can anyone give me some insight on how to get some lovely lovely Recharge without breaking the bank?
  24. How'd I freaking miss this?
