I grouped last night with some friends doing normal radio missions, so yes people still do group outside of AE

It's actually not that hard to move your fingers from the WASD keys to the number keys, but then again I tend to keep my hand resting on the former. I can't really think of any way to make it easier. You could use the numpad keys like you said, but then to not take your hands off your mouse you'd have to move your other hand all the way across or use the Tab key to cycle through targets

I attended the workshop and it was very informational for the short amount of time she had to teach us. They did record it and she is going to try and get the videos on youtube as soon as she can. She also had a handout with some good info including some websites of stuff you'd might want to use. That is supposed to be up on her site for people to download. I cant tell you offhand if that is up already or not, cause I havent been yet.
