  1. Couple of my friends are going to be starting P90X this week, unfort I can't do it cause of all the carbs they want you to eat, thats to many for my diet and would totally toss me off track!

    What I been doing is working anyways
  2. Yeah the dvds I did where a buncha running, jumping jacks, pushups, situps, boxing, weight lifting, yoga, you name it ... it was in there lol

    Bob's challenge hasn't been posted yet, maybe he's sleeping in

    I know they are in the middle of taping the Biggest Loser season 9 so maybe hes busy with that

    Ill post it once Bob comes and sticks it up, so far today I had 2 meat sandwiches and 6 baked chips, thing is I know I am not suppose to eat it but if it's before my workout, I am allowed as long as I burn it off durring the workout.

    My workout I just got done level 1 on both cardio max and bootcamp dvd for the biggest loser (90mins later) ya im sweaten.

    Housework is counted as cardio too, time to go do that while waiting on Bob's challenge, then I have some slow cooked chicken and salad calling my name for lunch!


    Here is yesterdays meals (MAY 31ST):

    Breakfast:

    2L of Green tea, eggs with green peppers, red onion, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese.

    Activity: Washed the car while doing laps around it at the sametime. (2hrs)

    Snack: Coffee with heavy cream (ya heavy cream is heavy but has 0 carbs, what I have to watch ), almonds and nibbling on veggies

    Snack: Green tea/Lemonde mix (crystal light lemonade again 0 carbs)

    Supper:

    Chicken Slow cooked with Salad: Ingredients: Lettace, cucumber, tomatoes, cheese and black olives with ranch (2 tablespoons)

    Rasberry Lemonde/Green Tea mix ( yes crystal light again, green tea is home brewed)

    Snack: Sugar free popcle, grape, 4 carbs

    Activity: Bob's challenge

    Total Carbs for the day: 20 (Like I am suppose too)

    Current weight: 225ish or so...

    Goal Weight: 140

    85lbs to go

    So far in 9.5 weeks I have lost 25lbs and 12inches total

Hey everyone seems like alot of us are on the weight loss thing, I thought I make this thread just for our server so we can help one another out, exchange recipes, talk diff things we are doing to help others, once a week (usually sundays) we will weigh ourselves in and see how we are doing, don't be shy now

    I can help by posting Bob's challenges on facebook (he usually posts them around 9am cst or so) that he gives us everyday and these challenges will be on top of whatever workout we have already done for the day, let's keep one another motivated too. Maybe write what we eat for the day to give others ideas too or if someone is eating something there not suppose too lets keep em in line

    One key thing to remember like Jillian says: If it doesn't have a mother or a father or come from the ground..... don't eat it!


    Also best dvd workout you can get look into the Biggest Loser Cardio Max dvd and Bob Harpers book: Are you Ready? will inspire you and get you started, There is many of the dvd's like Biggest Loser Bootcamp, Powersculpt, and weightloss yoga. They are floating around for pretty cheap 8.99 - 9.99.

    Let's see how much weight we can lose before Christmas here on Guardian, whatcha all say!?

    I started my world of noire blog back in ..... 2003/2004, I dunno if anyone reads it but ya its nice to look back on, sometimes Ill go back to my first post and read though on the days I am just relaxing at the computer for a few after a long 2-3hr workout, I read other blogs too like Pepsiman's or Bridgecrew Dave's or others I know I randomly peak in. I used to update everyday and in the last 6 months I been slacking, I been trying to get back on track though

    Blogs are fun though, hey shadow gratz on 4 months hun, you can do it!

    We should start another weight loss thread for guardian I think I will start one now and let's keep it going this time EH ? Hopefully a dev can sticky it for us.

    Ah low blood sugar hmm...
    Id have to research that, mine is insulin being to high but I am not diabetic, as ive said we are trying to reverse my insulin levels so i wont have that chance of getting diabeties and I can go about normal just have to stick with the diet for the rest of my life and hope to kick my meds once I get things under control and wont need em anymore and with my age of being so young I have a high chance of that happening if I stick with it.

    Ill have to research Hypoglycemia a bit cause sometimes whats working with me might not for you or it could work we dunno til we try it and you would have to ask your doctor.

    Ill read up on Hypoglycemia tomorrow after my workout, I need to go to bed now... 5am comes earily and me sleepy....

    Ya my insulin is high but not diabetic and its working on bringing it down since ive lost so much weight thxfully!

    with my body over producing insulin i have to stay on a low carb diet and stay away from starches only way to bring it down, I can have some bread before my workout as long as I am burning it off durring that excerse, i can have unlimited meats, eggs and cheese though.

    Drinks are pretty limited but they are good, 2 diet pops a day, coffee, water, crystal light (0 carbs) and tea .... I drink alot of green tea, they say 4 glasses a day will boost ur metabolsm, I drink like 3-4 L's a day and I mix it with lemonade (south thing here in the US) its so good!

    If ya need any pointers or help poke at me or find me and a buncha other guardian's on facebook that is doing the losing weight thing seriously

    South Beach is okay I had not heard good things about it as of late, im just sticking to what my doc told me

    I might start doing P90X after I get some more lbs down, they say if you stick to the program for 90 days you will shread lbs like no tomorrow, ive seen results online and omg!

    I am sure you know Bob Harper the famous trainer on the show the biggest loser, well he is on facebook and he gives us daily challenges like Friday, Sat and today..... 50 Push Ups, 50 Sit Ups, 50 Bicep Curls, 50 Tricep Dips and 50 minutes of ANY cardio. Do this routine for 3 DAYS IN A ROW!! I want you to stay active ALL WEEKEND!!! xoxo - ya thats what he wrote and its really him, he proved it too

    Ya uh huh I been active and sunburnt to peices to prove it.
    Friday I did there biggest loser workout dvds, Level 1 on the cardio and boot camp one, then half the yoga one, on top of the rest.... 2-3hrs later.... ya I was tired... that was friday..... Saturday woke up at 5am, grocary shopping, went and helped a friend move ..... hot sun, moving tons of boxes and furnature ya...... a great workout! Then today washing the car and doing laps lol..... plus the challenges, whew ya im beat!

    9 weeks now and 25lbs gone and 11 inches too

    3500 cals = 1lb ..... so if you wanna lose 1lb you need to burn 3500 cals and it depends on ur height and weight, also depends on the food ya stuff in your face, you should be peaking at the carbs not cals Staying away from high starches like rice and potatoes and replacing em with Yams and green veggies

    Come join some of us guardian folks on FB and Bob's page you will learn alot, let me know if you need any help!! I also have pics of my cooking on there and I met over a dozen new friends and we are working together as a team to lose the weight, you got less weight to lose then all of us you might meet your goal before the rest, alot of the folks have 50+ lbs to lose

    EDIT: low fat stuff has more carbs in it than regular stuff, more carbs = more sugar = more fat!

    I figured that might be the case, but I thought I might as well chime in to double-check, hehe.

    And the PvP nerf bat aside, I'd probably PvP a little more if I could get a better hang of it. None of my 50's, even slotted as they are, are very good in PvP. I'm guessing its partly tactics, and partly slotting. I'm learning a little here and there, but certain people make it damn hard to learn anything except how to die, lol. And no Cronic, I'm not including you in that list, hehe. When it comes to you, I've learned to give you the utmost respect when it comes to PvP. You know your [censored], and while trash talking comes with the game, you're still willing to admit to a good fight no matter the outcome.

    Come to think of it Cronic, maybe you could give me a few pointers sometime. I bow to your might and knowledge, lol. And I wouldn't mind being able to actually give you a run for your money sometime down the road
