Quote:Oh! Oh! I have Arachnos pieces. I could totally do Arachnos. Crey will take some thinking, maybe she'll turn around and try to sell her tech to them.If it's villain groups only, I'd suggest Arachnos. They seem to have the closest ties with the Rikti redside. Crey is a decent alternative what with Kelly Uqua, and Nemesis might work too, but there it's most likely she'd end up a Warhulk.
Now, if it's just in-game groups in general, the Midnighters would make an easy continuation, and Vanguard pretty much goes without saying.
Having trouble thinking of a nemesis one. -
Quote:Ehhh. All I'm asking for is as much variety as possible. I don't want an all-cheesecake game. I also don't want an all sober clothes all the time game because that cuts off concepts too. But right now I'm just so tired of the cheesecake.Just understand that not all of us want to do that. I wear scrubs every day.... don't want to do it in CoX.
However, have been reminded of the non-cheesecake stuff that came up I managed to forget. Because I'm brilliant. It's like when you're a kid, every day you clean your room and then you leave it one week and you get yelled at for never doing it.
But it has been a pretty strong trend and I believe I'm arguing with myself at this point. -
I'll buy that. It's less horrific.
They put on ties and hope no one looks too close. -
Riley's really the username I should have used on here, I like how it sounds more than MisterMagpie.
Riley Grimm, a biography: Riley Grimm was an exchange student from Germany before earning proper citizenship for services to the country and is a linguistics major and one of the four landlords of the Greekchorus, a repurposed old supergroup base that has been turned into a hero housing complex. She's an empathy/rad defender who started out as a scrapper (to get into the hollows to study how the Trolls spoke) who became a defender after her powers emerged during when Croatoa merged with the spirit world.
This event also killed her little sister, leading to the events of her brother taking up crime (to pay the Thorns back for saving their sister's spirit from being a tormented ghost) and her parents coming from Germany to keep an eye on them.
As well, her and her siblings Praetorian doubles have appeared in Primal Earth and joined the family.
She was my first fifty and when I realized I could make up *stories* for these electronic dolls. Over her six years of existence she's gotten a lot of history.
Riley and her twin brother Ryan. Neither of them have aliases. By doubleleaf@deviantart
These are by Liz! Imaginatorcentral.com In order, it's Riley, Oxomoco, Riley, Ryan.
Another by Liz! Riley, Sol (her praetorian kheldian double, in yellow), Ryan, and Charlotte (dead little sister that stuck around).
My friend who hates her name shared drew this for me for my birthday.

Costume piece idea!
Tank Girl-esque rocket bra. Or a bullet bra, a la that one lady from Kate Beaton (and friends)'s Strong Female Characters. -
Her character name is Pat'rice.
My plan with her is to make each one of her costumes tie in to an in-game villaingroup (with one costume power one, the Rikti Mentalist) and as well as her origin. Because I thought it'd be more fun rping in missions the more likely I was to have ties to a thing.
Costumes in order of timeline:
Outcast: Patrice Thompson was a charger in the outcasts, however she decided that it was small time and...
The Family: Managed to get herself entrenched in The Family, rising in the ranks, when unfortunately she...
Circle of Thorns: was captured by the circle of thorns due to her bloodline and possessed. She kept up her civilian identity in the Family as a mole, but...
Rikti: The Rikti and the Family group she was with had a clash and she was forcibly converted, becoming Pat'rice.
I have all the buyable costumes unlocked, so I'm gonna go for a whole ten set.
Can anyone help me think of what group can happen to her next? Y'all are pretty damn creative. -
!! I want to see what's next. Really enjoying this.
-
I do it when the team I'm on is doing it. Go with the flow et all that.

1. Does this happen often?
2. Barracuda Task Force. Who beat you to it*?
You barrel into City Hall, ready to cause mayhem and... there's Azuria, already crucified.
*I like Azuria, but I am playing a villain at the time. -
-
It's very easy to believe about Power Girl, she's a badass. I was reading the old Justice League International era comics the other day and it was thumbs up.

Azuria, victim of bad PR. OTOH...

Too lazy to quote, but being called sexist (saw a lot of stuff about it being a loaded word) isn't actually a huge insult. It's not like you get a big red 'S' branded on your forehead. It's just a description of something that's not exactly permanent. I mean, it's not a great thing to be, don't get me wrong, but it also shouldn't be treated as if it shuts the whole conversation down.
Anyway. Anyway.
If they do make a crotch slider, I will be compelled to make Lord Thrustington and I will be banned for life. -
I'm just going to point out Time Manipulation is a powerset now, there will be consequences, check to see if you still have the same parents, and leave it at that.

Empathy.
Reason 1: The excitement of a fast paced team, keeping everyone buffed while keeping up with my attacks. It can be pretty hectic and that's a major part of the appeal to me. I love playing brutes and scrappers now, but there's a difference between what you do there, and careful monitoring of your team and the timing I had to do as an emp.
Reason 2: Choosing who lives and who dies.
Wait. I've said too much. -
-
That's a good idea. No 'outfits' just techy things that can be put willy nilly.
-
Ooh yes. I'd love to see the old zones. It's been so long I've forgotten what Faultline even looked like.

Quote:It IS an awesome name. It took me a moment to catch it, though, since I was admiring the costume.
Receiving a private tell from literally the first player character who ran past me going the other way into the Magisterium, within 3 minutes of arriving after completing the Praetorian Tutorial(!), that essentially said, That is the most totally awesome name! ... yeah ... that was kinda priceless.
