    Level Pacted!

So, after the last Hamidon Raid of the year (which was successful, by the way), my beloved boyfriend (@Mionas, formerly @Delrune) hustled me outside and asked me a very important question...

    ...I said yes.
  2. Is a character who isn't fully Incarnated out okay? If so, I'll bring Snap Play, 50 fire/rad corr.
  3. Blessings for 2012 on my home server:

May the XP flow like water...
May the good PUGs be plentiful and the bad ones few and far between...
May the purple recipes drop frequently...
May you never lack for good conversation...
May you always find enough shards, threads, inf, merits, or whatever new currency they drop on us THIS year...
May your connection be stable, your hardware troubles disappear, and your account never go unpaid...
May you still feel heroic when you hear the Atlas Park theme (or villainous when you strike down a hapless hero) for the thousandth time...

And wherever 2012 takes you, may you always remember that you are one of us.

Good luck, best wishes, and all happiness to you in 2012, my friends. Happy new year!
  4. The Super STF went really well! We missed the Mo badge by an accidental death at the Thorn Tree. Well, stuff happens.

I still gave each participant 50 million inf for being good sports about the loss of the badge, and the costume prize was split between Festina Lenta and Tempus Plasmatic! Congratulations, guys! I'll post the team screenshot later on tonight when I can get on the other computer...
  5. We could use more damage for that first run. Depending on what we get I may swap and bring the fire/rad corr instead.
  6. If we don't get enough folks to run this tonight, I'll cancel it until a later TBD date.

Actually, I think I was the only corr. There were a few Defenders though. :P
  8. I do realize this is kind of short notice, but there were a few technical difficulties. If it turns out to be popular, I might also run a Super Kahn, a Super ITF, a Super...who knows!

  9. Join me on Tuesday, December 27th at 4 pm PST/7 pm EST for a Master of Statesman Task Force!

You must sign up in advance in this thread by posting your global name, character name, level, powersets, and AT. You must be at least level 45 to join in. There will be a second run right after the first one, probably around 6 pm PST/9 pm EST, so if you can't make the first one sign up for the second!

PLEASE wear your most heroic costume-I'm talking power armor, spandex, capes, and masks here! At the end of the MoSTF, teammates will vote on who has the most heroic-looking costume! Note: You may not vote for me or for yourself. Only for other people on the team.

If we are successful in getting the Master of Statesman's Task Force badge, everyone on the team will get 100 million influence. The winner of the costume contest will get an additional 100 million influence!

Please be advised that the requirements for a Master run are no deaths and no temporary powers.

    FIRST RUN:
    1.) @MissKyo - Tam Washington, 50 Claws/Willpower Scrapper
    2.) @Archiviste - Kreetch, 50 Invuln/Super Strength Tanker
    3.) @M I Abrahms - M I Abrahms, 50 Willpower/Super Strength Tanker
    4.) @Stone Daemon, Festina Lente, 50 Cold/Ice Defender
    5.) @Mentalshock - Tempus Plasmatic, 50 Time/Fire Defender

    8.)

I do have other characters I can swap to if necessary, so bring what you like. We WILL need a tanker type for each run, some buffers and some debuffers!

I could have leveled any way I chose, and honestly, people DID offer to PL me several times over the weekend, but for the most part I turned them down. I dislike doorsitting and there was no real challenge to the event if I wasn't doing most of the work.

I DO have to give a HUGE thank you to the Teamsters though-they got me from 1-16 in no time flat, giving me an ENORMOUS jump start to my TF plans! They did as much as I did, if not more.
  12. I finished at level 36, having earned $270 for Real World Hero. Thanks for all your help, Protector.
  13. Thanks to all the great folks who helped me out last night, I logged off at level 25 this morning, having raised $187.50 for Real World Hero!

I'm the only person signed up from Protector, so I hope to make "the little server that could" proud this weekend. Back in the saddle!
  14. Since I didn't see it anywhere in the thread...

I won the Iron Tailor. Not sure how...I would have voted for Globetrotter myself if I could have voted. o.o

I totally got some new ideas for costumes from the other contestants though! Thanks guys!
  15. I've always seen any and all of the stories I write as having been animated kid-cartoon style, but if I had to pick, I'd cast Carey Mulligan as Calla Bennett, aka Zantedeschia, my dark/dark stalker. She'd have to wear blue contacts and dye her hair red, though...red as in "natural redhead", not as in "fire engine red"...

    :P
  16. Hey Protector! I'm signed up for the Real World Hero Level-a-Thon, an event in which participants get friends and family members to pledge a certain donation amount per level earned on a single character between 12/9 and 12/11! I'll be running Task Forces all weekend, looking for and starting mission teams, and hopefully getting to at LEAST level 30!

I'd like to see more Protectorites sign up if you can-you don't have to play the whole weekend (and aren't expected to) and all proceeds go for a good cause. If we can get a bunch of people all signed up, we can get more levels if we team together!

Please visit http://realworldhero.com/levelathon/ to learn more about the Level-a-Thon and Real World Hero! It's a good cause and everyone can help!

Hi Protector! I'm your newest PERC rep! Please feel free to fire off a PM at me if you need anything!

    Thanks to all!!

Welcome to the game, welcome to Protector. We're glad to have you.

  20. No one wants to run a Statesman Task Force?

No one wants to win several fabulous prizes for showing up in the most heroic costume?

If I don't get at least a few signups by tomorrow night, I'm taking the night off! :P
  21. Don't forget: This Tuesday at 4 pm PST/7 pm EST is the Superheroic Statesman Task Force!

Bring out your spandex-clad heroes, your cape-wearers, your masked men and women! Show me your best, most heroic outfit! This time, there will be PRIZES!

Sign up by posting in this thread! And please, post your global name, and the name, AT, and powerset of your character, okay?

  22. Faathim the Kind TF, COMPLETED! 51 deaths, 2:33:13 was our time!

Total of 10 hours, 29 minutes, and 23 seconds time on the Task Forces, plus 50 minutes of rest time. Well done everyone who signed up-VERY well done indeed.

I promise not to run this for another six months...or until I lose my mind again...

    /signed Kyo

  23. Justin Augustine TF, COMPLETED! Only 11 deaths this time, with a time of 1:23:52! Nice work!

A 20 minute break and we'll be on our way on Faathim the Kind's TF, the last leg of our journey!

  24. Sara Moore, COMPLETE! 2:05:50 and only 52 deaths this time. Half the time, half the deaths, what are you gonna do. At least we're consistent.

We're taking 15 minute breaks between TFs to stretch, bio break, eat, etc. Next up: Justin Augustine!

  25. Dr. Q, COMPLETED! I know it's hard to see in the screencap, but our time was 4:26:28, with 111 deaths (most of which were Mentalshock). One down, three to go!

Having everyone on Skype while we do this makes it that much more epic. Especially with the schoolgirl-esque giggling.
