Hey Protector! I'm signed up for the Real World Hero Level-a-Thon, an event in which participants get friends and family members to pledge a certain donation amount per level earned on a single character between 12/9 and 12/11! I'll be running Task Forces all weekend, looking for and starting mission teams, and hopefully getting to at LEAST level 30!

I'd like to see more Protectorites sign up if you can-you don't have to play the whole weekend (and aren't expected to) and all proceeds go for a good cause. If we can get a bunch of people all signed up, we can get more levels if we team together!

Please visit http://realworldhero.com/levelathon/ to learn more about the Level-a-Thon and Real World Hero! It's a good cause and everyone can help!

Thanks to all the great folks who helped me out last night, I logged off at level 25 this morning, having raised $187.50 for Real World Hero!

I'm the only person signed up from Protector, so I hope to make "the little server that could" proud this weekend. Back in the saddle!

Way to go Kyo! You were #2 for amount of money raised and you lost to someone with 2.5x the number of sponsors you had.

Now give your computer a rest before you step away for a snack and come back to find it doing the "dying cockroach".

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

Geez, that's a lot... Congrats on the accomplishment. I'm imagining how much a Claws/Elec or /FA Brute would've earned- Was AE disallowed?

I could have leveled any way I chose, and honestly, people DID offer to PL me several times over the weekend, but for the most part I turned them down. I dislike doorsitting and there was no real challenge to the event if I wasn't doing most of the work.

I DO have to give a HUGE thank you to the Teamsters though-they got me from 1-16 in no time flat, giving me an ENORMOUS jump start to my TF plans! They did as much as I did, if not more.
