It's global. But you aren't the only one who didn't know about it, so it's not used by loads of people and not very crowded with events. Just stick Justice server in the subject line or somewhere in the description and I think it would be fine.

Quote:There's a calendar right here on the forums, too. It's in the Events section and I think you can set it up to send you reminder/alerts. I don't remember if it sends an alert through the forums or via email or both.I was actually thinking about having someone make a google calendar or something to that effect so everyone has a good idea of upcoming Justice events in one easy go, or they can subscribe to it.

Off the top of my head, I'd suggest Sea World, the River Walk, and the Alamo. (Make sure you check out the basement!)
I've only been to San Antonio a few times, but those were the things I remembered most. -
I'm in. Lashon Hara, level 25-ish Sonic/Sonic Cor.

Quote:He has a "Bad Robot" avatar and that's enough reason for me!I think you need to sell us on why you should be allowed to play on Justice.
And as someone mentioned but wasn't positive about, the global server for Aussies and others who play during US "off hours" is called "Australia."
Justice is a good balanced population. It's not empty (though the Villain side usually has less traffic than the Hero side), but it's not so crowded that every time you Super Jump you land on a moron. -

Quote:If "fragmenting the player base" were as large a concern as some people make it out to be, we were all doomed the minute they decided to have more than one server.Fragmenting the player base is a bad thing for the game as well. I imagine what it would be like if you could only team with characters of the same origin. Doesn't make much sense does it? Only teaming with SG members or players on certain global channels is far more restrictive and fragmenting than that.
Seriously, it doesn't matter if there are two global channels or 102 - if I want to find people, I will. Global channels don't fragment anything. Other people may try to fragment the player base, but they can do that without channels.
People are laying blame on a tool. People are what cause the fragmenting, not the tool. The same tool that is being blamed for "fragmenting" the player base has also helped it grow remarkably strong. Like any tool, it's what you do with it that makes the difference.
If you don't want to fragment anything, be inclusive and not exclusive. That has nothing to do with channels and everything to do with attitude. -
I understand they want to prevent fraud and all that, but it really drives me crazy all the hoops we have to jump through to get our friends a $10.00 gift.
They really should look into making it easier for one customer to help out another and give the company additional money. -
Quote:In over 5 years I've never experienced this. You may want to check things out on your end.A long time ago the "tell chime" stopped sounding for tells received, and only sounds when you send one.
I'd bugged it many, many times. It's never been fixed.
Also, if you can't hear it, you can set up a separate tab just for tells. If you have a separate tab, the text of the tab will turn white whenever a new tell comes in and stay that way until you click the tab.
You can do this with any different channel - events, SGs, etc. -
Quote:Does it work? If so, it doesn't matter if she uses one hand, two, or her nose and feet. The game is set up so that you press a key to move. It doesn't care HOW you press the key, and neither should you. However, my girlfriend has the prob of not wanting to use both hands when controlling her char. She moves using one hand and attacks using the same hand. I have also told her how I used to do the same thing and she needs to try to use both hands but doesn't seem to be working.
I'm a professional trainer and have been for decades now. I find that when it comes to friends/significant others/family members, it's too easy to let your own bias gets in the way of the facts. There is often more than one way to get something done. Your game doesn't have audits, there are no regulations to follow, and you can't get sued based on how you move your character around. That gives you all the room in the world to get things done and not worry about how.
If she's not as efficient or as effective as she could be, it's not a big deal. Team up with others so she can see the differences. When she asks questions, then give her more tips to help out.
I'm a button clicker and my friend is a key presser. We both kick *** and no one cares how.
If she's having a good time, let her be. If you keep trying to correct her, you risk doing far more harm than good and risk both resentment and a disinterest in the game. -

Thank you all very much.
It was a good day.

You can click the feedback link on your own posts and it shows you if someone rated it. But it's like Pokemon - you gotta click 'em all to actually find the one where someone left feedback.
And, in case anyone wonders, you can't do it from an iPhone. You can leave positive feedback, but can't leave a comment from an iPhone. Stupid work and stupid blocking software!! You cannot stop me! (But boy can you slow me down.) -
Quote:You know, I thought about that before I posted. I don't want to scare people away from Justice or seem unwelcoming. If you com in unarmed, fine. Just don't come in attacking, yeah?Hear, hear.
Teach that lousy good-for-nothing to come walking into Justice unarmed.
The door is always open. That doesn't mean people should come in, complain about the food, spank our kids, or ask to borrow money.
If anyone is going to spank Pum, it should be one of us. -
Quote:Is it not also the responsibility of the poster to give the benefit of the doubt if uncertain or to ask for clarifiation before posting a bunch of snarky assumptions? Your response implied Pum was a troll or didn't have any friends, or was on a lot of ignore lists. You posted earlier that you don't play on Justice, then proceeded to post a bunch of incorrect assumptions about an active player the people who do play on the server recognize.
Just because something somebody says is an obvious fake, or an obvious sarcastic comment, or an obvious joke, does not mean that everybody realizes that. It's important, especially on these forums where there are lots of new players who will take anything at face value, to respond to the bad ideas and off-comments in such a way that even players with no background information will be able to understand why something is a bad idea, or why something is not a joke.
You say people posting need to be aware that not everyone will understand. It's also a poster's responsibility to recognize that he or she is unfamiliar with a specific group or community and to know when to ask questions instead of making assumptions and guessing. -

Hooray for pictures! They are a wonderful companion to the phone call. It was lovely to chat with everyone. Thanks for thinking of me.

Spyder Noir is in as something, too. I'll let him say what later.
