So.. I'm wondering... when did sonic blast kick your kitten? You've clearly got a serious hate on for it, tossing a ton of mis-information vaguely disguised with incorrectly used math.

Quote:Hah! I have a Katie Perez (of THOSE Perezes) and a Perez Park Pounder - not of those Perezes.... he's a thug who used to mug people in the park.Playing in Perez Park, I suddenly remembered my only Warshade:
Her name is Dolores Perez ("yes, of THOSE Perezes).
I made a decision that there's a powerful Perez family in Paragon City, much like the Rockefellers of New York. (Yes, I know the out-of-game reason why Perez Park is named Perez Park, but it's got to have an in-game reason too, right?)
Anyway, Dolores's sister (Hillary) is sort of like Paris Hilton. Dolores is more of a wallflower. Still, when a Warshade came to her and offered her its deal, she took it.
Mostly I really like the "of THOSE Perezes." -
All MM ITF was a roaring success (except for one poor dc at the end
) It was a ton of fun all the way through and we rolled over the mobs (was there any doubt?)
-
how many merits are these converters costing? How deep is the pool of the options in the "spin the wheel" (that is... how big of a risk of your merits is it that you may just get another piece o' crap? Trade a crapofthehunter for a snipe at the cost of 100 merits?)
-
Early shift usually starts getting together around 6ish Eastern time. I'll be late myself... hope to find enough able to do an all MM ITF this evening or Friday so git out there and git to lvl 35 folks!

So random is random(tm) ... converted and rolled, got an oblit quad and a numina unique and a few low teen million recipes. Well worth the 20m I think.

Yeah.... I'm compulsively paranoid about P2P software that I don't explicitly install.
-
Pando is a P2P file sharing application / bittorrent application.
I don't have it nor has the updater tried to install it on my machine... Personally, I'd be suspicious of malware on your box. edit: unless you use lineage2 given the comment above mine... -
So, I'm happy with my random Hero Merit rolls... I've picked up my fair share of big ticket items in addition to a lot of 10-20million recipes. The batch I bought from Fulmens had a nice mix with a few 100m crafted items mixed in with "crap"TM
Question for the market experts... I have been running task forces and picking up regular merits off things like the explore accolades and initial tips / second run in a week of signature story arc etc. Should I be converting these to hero merits and random rolling on the hero merit tables or just go to a regular merit vendor and random rolling there? What's the common wisdom on this choice? -
Quote:Is this normal? I've got other TW toons that seem to find it heavy too so I don't *think* It's just about the combo - but happy to be corrected on that. If I remake, what would be a good secondary to choose?
/EA /Elec /WP and /Regen all have endurance recovery powers in them. I like my tw/ea scrapper a lot -

I tend to not have concepts (What can I say? my first server was Freedom
) However, I'm pretty happy with my concept for my titanweapon/EA mutant. Born a mutant whose body absorbs a little fraction of the kinetic energy around her all her life. She never knew why, but she enjoyed being around the ADHD kids growing up and her teachers were happy to group her with them because they seemed to calm down a bit with her around. Like most mutants, when puberty hit her mutation changed slightly to allow her to start to selectively burn some of the energy her body had stored over time (giving her the strength to pick up and swing those big weapons). Of course, being in Galaxy City during the Shivan strike and meteor crashes flooded her body with sufficient kinetic energy to power her abilities for quite some time to come.... there's also a lot of kinetic energy in all the bullets flying around her as she uses her now controllable mutation to fight crime. She learns new tricks as time goes on but they're all based on burning stored kinetic energy.

Last run of Alcatraz is mid-afternoon (or was when I was there). But yeah, it is a pretty short drive to San Fran from San Jose

Curious: why would you think it has *anything* to do with his monitor?
I'd be inclined to think it is a cross-linked file issue based on his description of what is happening. If it is, a chkdsk /f would repair it. -

Heh, yeah ... sort of saw both situations happen when you posted. The bid war was going to stop as soon as you mentioned you were doing it again soon(tm) and someone was going to snipe me at or near 4am my time when you assigned the cut-off
I did have my own cut-off and knew how high I was willing to go during the bidwar... I'm under my personal cut-off so all's good.
I've sent an email to @boltcutter in game with 1 inf attached.
Thanks for doing this. *crosses fingers in hopes that the RNG is kinder to rolls for me than they were in the last run Fulmens did of this* -
<-- cannot wait to do an all MM ITF. Ran one this afternoon with my mm in a pug, it was a ton of fun. It can only be better with enough stacked maneuvers & def buffs from the team to be able to really let the pets loose (had to hold back today until tankers had aggro locked down but once that was done my boys were melting minotaur face.)

People who aren't quieter than my mastermind's pets?

It stings... I agree (personally, I'm still miffed that they made the Nem staff single target and took "all" of its damage away
). But it should not be any kind of surprise where the devs explicitly said it was not working as intended. You got away with it for a long time... they fixed it.
Kind of a mis-nomer to call this a "nerf" though imo. The devs stated a long time ago that you should not be slotting debuff enh in buffs and vice-versa. This was a bug. A long standing one sure, but never described as wai by devs. This change is a bug-fix, not a "nerf".
