Quote:Don't forget the Goldbricker rocket pack! ..Even though it looks kinda goofy.Well hopefully when the pack goes live or shortly after they will consider tweaking the other existing backpack type items into costume ones...
For example: (As colorable animating costume pieces like the rocket boots.)
1. Minibooster Jetpack
2. Raptor Pack
3. Zero G Pack
And other items such as the Resistance Glowing Backpiece.
It should allow for Military backpacks and so on in future... -
Quote:Nope, not yet anyway. There's a new category called 'Back Packs', though, so hopefully the beaten brass pack won't be the only option it ever gets.Is there any new items in the back slot other than capes and wings?
And it is on the (Gah... NA) test server after all, for final tweaks
Edit: Whoops, misread. That's what I get for missing my coffee this morning. Yeah, there's more than just capes and wings now, but there's only one option in the category ATM. -
Yeah, I could see it being a little imbalanced if they made it perma without changing the stats and stuff.
Really, why don't they just make the steam jump pack a costume part itself? That way we'd still be able to have the same effect, at least aesthetically. And since we apparently have the tech for that kind of stuff now.. -
Looks alright.
One question though, will there be combat versions of the auras? I figure there will be, but.. I had to ask anyways. -
Quote:Well, since there wasn't any actual official response to complaints raised in the other thread, people are probably thinking (most likely in vain) that they could get their voice heard here instead.Didn't most of you that have been complaining about the content of this Pack do the same in the previous thread that announced the pack's contents?
Why do we need two threads of kvetching? How about we stick to complaints about things like not being able to buy the pack in the store, or bugs. The content of this pack is set in stone, not going to change. Either buy it or don't. I think they heard every complaint there is to hear in the last thread.
The next pack that makes 100% of the people happy will be the first. -
Should've just been included with GR.

Quote:Maybe it's one of the 'new systems' they're going to be testing in i20? Well, one can hope, at least..Yep. Especially when you remember that, before we got /Shields, we got Romans in Cimerora, and one of the devs commented that the NPCs got the set first because NPCs are easier to tweak, so it let them get some major bugs out of the way quicker.
I think that Maelstrom is a hint that they're trying to get functional holsters and sheathes into the game - we'll have to wait to see if they're satisfied with the results enough to propagate it to PCs. -
This thread is even siier if you ook at every singe post and read it back to yoursef.

I was wondering, would it be possible to make alternate animations for Archery/Trick Arrow that use a crossbow instead? It seems like we already have several crossbow animations ingame already, so I wonder how hard it would be to tweak those and make a whole slew of alternate animations for those sets. Of course, I'm not really sure how it would work with weapon customization, but it's just a thought.

Quote:Seconded, though it's already been mentioned before. It'd be nice to see some of those sets have their own unique animations too, instead of just sharing the same ones they've had sinceAll I would like if is possible is two handed animations for broadsword, battleaxe and warmace if you do not use a shield as secondary.
the game was released. -
/Signed too.
Even just static NPCs with basic functions like leveling up, tailoring or etc would be a big step. -
I second this. The animation time should definitely be slowed down a bit.

Still haven't gotten PMed back yet...

Hmm... I never did get a response on this..

PM Sent! Thanks guys!
I must come up with a concept for this now.. -
Quote:Er.. Well, the first one didn't qualify so this should still count, right? ;_;Just in case they're going to be picky about editing your post, I'll try to scavenge it. The hard part was finding the right gate with that texture as the ground instead of the tiled pavement blocks that the others posted. And yes, that's you in the foreground, still at the scene of the crime.
Oh well, whatever works. The fun was in finding the place anyways. XD
And yeah, it was hard to find that specific looking gate, though for me it was those rusted iron.. beams or whatever they are that kind of gave it away. -

Eh, sounds cool. I'd honestly just be happy if they made alternate animations for Trick Arrow that had the powers use a rifle or what have you instead. Sure, it might not make sense to have a power with the word 'arrow' in it shoot a grenade, but they've already done something like that with Martial Arts anyways, where powers like Storm Kick and Crippling Axe Kick have alternate punching animations.

Quote:/signed. I would think that since alot of the tech is there already it wouldn't be all that hard to do.Canon Booster Pack
Includes:
- Freakshow parts including giant claw arms, hammer hands, Juicer lightning poles and more
- Carnival of Shadows parts including porcelain masks, Strongman helmets, and those big dresses the Illusionists get
- Those skull and demon masks that Skull and Hellions lieutenants get
- Crey scientist aprons
- (with GR) Resistance armour sets, Loyalist armour sets, the big Ghoul shackles, and more
- Logos of most/all villain groups for chest details
- Temp power: Disguise. Changes player model to that of selected enemy (within reason, no turning into Hamidon and so on). Player is then effectively invisible to targeted enemy group for two minutes.
I don't know, I just like making toons that fit in with existing groups
Also, a medieval pack of some kind would be pretty awesome. The selection we have now for medieval armor and such is kinda slim. Maybe they could add some kind of Crusader/Templar costume set..
