Simple question...
While in PvP; do the set bonuses, from PvP sets, add to the normal set bonuses or do they replace them?
Example:
Fury of the Galdiator
Two enhancements increases Fire and Cold Resistance by 1.89%.
but
Two enhancements increases Slow Resistance by 10.00%. (PvP only)
So while in PvP do I only get the 10% Slow Resistance, or does it add, so I also get the Fire and Cold Resistance, along with the Slow Resistance? -

I've been playin this game for a looong time now, and I've made some wacky costumes over the years, and every time I've become a little better (well I think so at least =P)...
I've won quite a few costume competitions, as well as I've been the official SG Tailor in Ultimate Darkness, so I must be have been doing something right... ^_^
There's also a few costumes from Champions Online, of revised "City of " characters...

This is outrageous!
First I tried to pay by clicking credit card...
Then it said something in the line of "A problem occurred,"
and here comes the vital part, "please try again"
and then something about contacting customer support if it
I'm still having problems.
So I clicked the damn thing again, but this time I chose
PayPal, as maybe going away from the NCStore would help
speed it up a little.
I get the same bloody message one more time. Then I check
the forums to see if anyone else has this problem, and see
that someone checked their account and saw that they had
multiple buys of the pack.
I checked and saw that, even though I got a message
twice that the transaction had failed, and asked me
to "please try again" the damn system had made the
transaction both times...
I do not have alot of money to spare, and certainly not
enough to spare on things I can't use!
I would like to get a redname to come and tell us how to
sort this out, and very soon.

I have a small SG for me and two of my friends, and we've
managed to gather around 3 million prestige, well except
for one contributor, I've pretty much gathered it
myself...
Now I'm finally done with the base (if there is such a
thing with base building), and I would like to show what
I've come up with.

US forum, but made it with my own touch, though most of it

I'm trying to write my SG's name with banners on a wall, but
holy cow that is complicated, or is it just me?
I want it to be set up like this:

When I change SG logo and place the first banner, it's
going alright, then I change to another letter, but when I
place the new banner, all the banners on the wall change to
the new one...
Here's my questions:
1) Am I doing something wrong, and if so, what am I doing wrong?
2) Is there an easy way to do this, if so, how?
If you guys have any experince with this, please post your
tips and such, it's the only thing I need before my base is
done*.

Í took my solo SG base apart, just in case that there's
some weird bug.
Wouldn't like to loose some of my 3 mill, hard-earned
prestige, because the refund thing was bugged in some
mysterious way...
Can't wait 'til the issue goes live, so I can make my,
already fully planned, new shiny base. -

Don't worry too much about it. I just wanted to make the
powerset with the numbers I've written down from the open
beta, so I could make a semi-build, just so I could see
where the powers would fit in best and such.
Wouldn't even dare go into making a complete powerset with
all variables, scaling, real numbers, etc., as I doesn't
have the required data for that, or a guide how to set up a
powerset properly.
That said, is there a chance that you can make an update
with just the Pain Domination and Shield sets included?
I mean a "small" update without all the other changes, like
the new PvP system, new recipes or other I13 features, so
people can semi-plan builds with the new sets, until you
get around to make a bigger update.
I don't expect it will happen, but it never hurts to ask,
ey?

Change it to "All Sets".
You can't add another powerset while you're filtering them.
Once you've done that, you can add a new entry using the middle column. It might compain about an invalid name depending on what you stick in, but it'll still create a new powerset item at the bottom of the list.

As I stated in my first post, I've tried anything I could
come up with, your suggestion included.
Sure it creates some kind of powerset, but only the name.
You can't add powers, you can't do anything with it... at
all...
And no matter what you do, you still get the invalid name
prompt. The invalid name prompt also applies to the powers
you try to create, but that doesn't even let you "semi-
create" a power like the powerset creation before.
All in all, the conclusion is this; the creation part of
the Database Editor is broken.
I tried to send a PM to Midnights last night, but I can't
see in the "My Home" page that I've sent it, so I actually
don't know if he has gotten the PM or not.
I'll wait a couple of days before trying again.
On another note; damn there's alot of data to go through,
if you want to create a power!
Though I only want to create Pain Domination with basic
approx. numbers, but I'm really impressed about the work it
takes to make that planner work, and with all the right
numbers... -

Yeah but why add a Database Editor in the program if you
aren't allowed to create/edit things?
You can go in and edit every single power if you want to.
Some people on US made an unofficial update to Mid's pre-
I12 so people could plan their VEATs to some degree...
That is what I wanna do. Make a temp powerset for myself
with Pain Domination, so I can plan it, while waiting for
Mid's official update.
It isn't hacking/breaking or anything like that. All the
tools to do it is right there in front of any who wish to
use it. The question is; how? -
Yeah I know, but I would like to add it now, so I can start
planning...
The update to Mid's will probably come out a good time
after I13, as all the new changes to PvP, most likely will
be included, and Midnight is just a player like you and me,
and doesn't get payed to make it (except for kind
donations), so he can only work on it when he has time.
Well back to topic... Does anyone know how to add a new
powerset?
And please... don't reply if you don't know, or doesn't
have a suggestion, link or something that might help to get
the question answered...
It can be quite annoying as the poster to see there's a
reply, opening the thread, just to find that the reply
doesn't help at all... -
I'm sitting here a little bored, and thought I would try
and add the Pain Domination powerset to Mid's Hero
Designer, so I could start planning... but it tells me it's
an invalid name!
I've tried alot of combinations, and none of them work.
Tried everything from copying everything in an existing
powerset, though with the name changes, to every absurdly
way of adding, typing and what not.
This is what an existing power setup looks like:

The only difference in the two setups, are the names, and
that Cold Domination have powers, but powers come after
you've created the powerset itself.
What do I do wrong? Or is it even me and not the program
that's something wrong with? Or is it altogether something
else?
I would very much appreciate if someone could tell me how
to do this, or if it's even possible.

I've been reporting this too, and actually I found out some
stuff, by experimenting...
For some odd reason you can no longer make an in-game Email
with more than 900 characters, spaces included, or the game
crashes...
I'm not sure if it's exactly 900 characters, but I've cut
the emails to just down below 900 (880-something) with
spaces, and no crash...
This has been going on since the patch where the Cyborg
Booster pack was introduced.
Before that patch, I could send Email with hell-of-alot
more characters and spaces than 900...

Well my dreambuild is indeed nearing completion...
So far I've spent around 335 million Infamy, and I only
need 3 more enhancements before the main build is finished;

After that I'm still aiming for the last 6 enhancement I
mentioned in my first post...

Except for those last 9 enhancements, my build is exactly
as the one I posted in my reply to Jaerven, as I respecced
into it last night... -
A good build _Seph, but when comparing the stats of the
build Jaerven made, which I modified a little, and yours,
those stats are all better except for a few...
The biggest difference is Psionic Resistance, where yours
is 10% better, but that doesn't nearly add up for all that
you miss out on...
However it seems to be specced for PvP mostly though, which
isn't really my thing, except for the odd duel in arena now
and then...
I went for a PvE build that can also hold his ground in a
duel... -
Thanks for the build mate... It's as you said last night,
you did improve it.
I've made a couple of changes, but nothing big, except for
taking Weave instead of Resurgence. The rest is just what
order the enhancements come in, and switched a few of the
enhancements out with other in same set.

Spent a few million inf last night and this is the outcome:
Resistances:
52,9% (Smashing, Lethal) (Improved to 53,1%)
Defenses:

You'vo got a purple proc in Seismic Smash. You could use Ghost Widow proc. Thats lesser % for triggering the procs and lesser damage but should be a lot cheaper and it's psi-damage. Same thing with Stone Mallet and Touch of Death as well as Tremor and Perfect Zinger.

Well right now I have a Perfect Zinger: Chance for Psionic
Damage in every single attack, including Fault, and I want
the Epic Chance for Damage as an "upgrade".

After spending 290-something million Infamy, I think my
Stone/Wp Brute is nearing perfection.
Here's just some basic info:

Regen: 50,2/Sec (76,8/Sec against 1, 124,6 against 10)
Haste: +21,3%
Accuracy: +48%
Damage: +3%
Resistances:
8,7% (Fire, Cold, Energy, Toxic)
11,8% (Negative Energy)
32,3% (Psionic)
52,9% (Smashing, Lethal)
Defenses:
2,4% (Melee, Ranged)
5,5% (AoE)
6,3% (Smashing, Lethal)
14,2% (Psionic)
17,7% (Fire, Cold, Energy, Negative Energy)
In my opinion that's pretty nice stats
I'm only 6 enhancements away from fulfilling the build I
have for him... The only problem is, that those
enhancements are:
Luck of the Gambler: Defense/+7,5% Recharge (x3)
Hecatomb: Chance for Negative Damage
Armageddon: Chance for Fire Damage
Unbreakable Constraint: Chance for Smashing Damage
As you can see those are some pretty expensive
enhancements, especially the three LotG...
Well the main reason for my post (besides the subtle
bragging), is to ask if you guys can tweak the build
below more.
There is one requirement though; Max HP and Regen may not
be reduced...

I got my MM to level 27, and I respecced Thugs out of the
build...
It worked perfectly and just as I planned, but for some reason I still hate playing MMs...
Ah well I guess not all ATs are for everyone, so MMs go
down the same path as Stalkers did for me; no more MMs...
