Yeah there were shedloads!!! Towards the end it was like a scrapper convention. Finally finished at 12.40 Gmt.

Dont think I learnt as much as you but defintely enjoyed it. I wonder what sparked the frenzy. It as only small scale (was 6 which then doubled to about 6 aside) and then bang loads of heros turned up. I didnt do no counting but must have easily been aboout 40 people at one stage.

Indeed i did. Although was hesitant at first. Quite liked the idea of heros attacks not doing damage to my base

I think villains dont seem to have any problems, none which I have noticed but if anyone wants to do further tests then I am willing to help out. My sg is based on union and I am also willing to trash hero bases all in the name of bug testing.

Anyone know how reporting bugs work because I have sent of afew and dont think I have ever heard anything of anyone.

Ok hard to gimp at tank but there is a big big difference in the effectiveness of a tank specifically designed for pvp. I hate pvping with my live server tank due to my test server tank being so much better.

To be honest being a brute I cant see why you haven't had much teaming action. If you have already flagged up that you are looking for a team then eventually you should get one. However of late it has been fairly quiet. My poor dominator has found it abit hard to get into teams. I think everyone is waiting for I7. However, having a good sg helps loads. A quick shout out on coaltion chat normally sorts the non teaming problem out.

My advice would be (if you haven't done so already) make sure you have clicked on looking for team and also join one of the more established sgs out there. There are plenty of them out there. You only have to scan through this forum to see many of supergroups trying to snap up more recruits. Cough E.V.I.L. Cough.

If you have a sg you are happy with or still deciding, you can always give one of my toons a shout. Look out for daddys little defect (currently lv 31).

Im also sure union could lend you a tank .... for a hami o (specifically acc/dmg please)

To save the world from the apocalypse I made sure that both Artanix and Humanoid Doom did not have an event to turn up to Sunday.

So guys and gals, what event should we have for this coming sunday. Should we challenge Order or Reckoning to a base raid or perhaps have another arena battle - either against another sg or a mini team rumble against our fellow sg members?

Actually VG is probably more acceptable standing for villain group

Or in the case of E.V.I.L. svg (super villain group)

At the moment you can only do instant base raids (this is where afterwards everything goes back to normal - anything destroyed reverts back).

In summary to do a base raid you need another willing sg. To do a raid on them you can either meet up with them (they have to be the leader or a person with base raid rights) and right click on them. This bring up an option to challenge them to a instant base raid. You can also type in /raid_invite (enter there name) Max and it should send them a raid invite (this mean you be raiding there base). Once the raid invite has been accepted you have 5 mins to get everyone to join the raid. Click on super (brings up your supergroup bit), click on the red tab called raid and finally click on join.

To raid them your base needs a raid teleporter installed. If you haven't got one then you are limited to defending your base. You need to place anchors around your base and defend them with your lives. Once all but 1 is destroyed its game over and the attackers win.

I dont think you find many people argueing against you. However, cant really judge to much as they may throw in a couple of surprises (maybe some useful IoP).

The idea of losing your base in terms of stuff destroyed for a little boost seems shocking. Major Risk - Very Little Reward = Not the best balance.

I am always on the look out for more people who are into pvp to join my sg E.V.I.L. It is well established, friendly but would probably replace mature with abit mad.

I think its still worth having them open as they still serve a purpose (namely letting people know about your vg and your goals etc). Some people may have disagreed with you but its not developed into a flame war as you haven't risen to it.

Besides I dont think it will really affect the outcome of the vg. I am sure people will come to there own conclusions.

Ive found hiding the anchors quite hard to do so have gone for more strategic placement. You werent able to see how it would (hopefully) work due to most of the key people not being on for various reasons.

However, it was nice just to have a raid even against such overwhelming odds. Like I said to my guys when it was your turn, I just want to hit the buggers back (Payback for all the pain).

I can tell you from all the bases I have seen yours was the hardest to navigate to find the anchors. I thought at one stage there were only like 2! Anyway I might try and copy abit of your style but dont think it would really work/suit our base. I see how it goes. Good luck with future raids

That is a very good point! Being a tanker I have a very important role in hammy raids and must attend and sit on cowards hit and watch from above.

Was a very very different type of base raid. I think the horde will do well. They had the better numbers (I said it we give it ago anyway) and pleased we were able to eventually take over your base (which I must admit is very good). They had some great tactics (in both defending and raiding) but obviously couldnt deal with the wave upon wave of cannon fodder (whilst an elite team went around and done the business).

I didnt really learn much about our base (which is what I wanted) as was too busy running around the shop trying to fend off so many attackers. I enjoyed the chaos anyway and hopefully hasn't put off anyone.
