I have one of these Acc Buf/Def Buff/End Cost and would like something useful too maybe acc/dmg or dmg/range (you get the picture) [img]/uk/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I tried to post this the other day but the forums were all borked [img]/uk/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img].

Been challenged to another base raid but not sure if be possible as quite late in letting you lot know. Its the same sort of time 7.30 ish. Would need afew high level people as they want us to attack them. I guess we wait and see whose about. If unable to go ahead can always reschedule and do a sg strike force (not done one of them in ages).

Well im sure I can get you the mayhem missions and with a bit of luck maybe badluck. I think afew people in my sg are coming up to that sort of level and if not there is always someone in our coalitions shouting out when they are doing such missions.

I think hes just pointing out (and not trying to have a dig) that announcing such an event just means you are opening youself up others to come in and spoil your party.

I know you said you are trying to come up tactics before hand but im sure if people wanted to they could still overcome them (especially if most of the people turning up are actually badge hunters). Thus potentially a safer option would perhaps to use say the union badgehunters channel and try arrange it that way.

it happened in the Ootcs raid, the villians did take them out, meaning the heroes had to start going to hospital, hence them gaining the upper hand in the raid

Sounds like a right royal **** up. I was able to stop 5 villains vs 2 of us from destroying our rings. It takes forever to actually destroy something so unless they were left to there own devices then I cant see where you went wrong.

Not so sure if will be as much this time. Dont want to upset the badgehunters too much so unless I hear stalker complaints then there wont be any resistance from my supergroup.

Anchors (as are most other base objects apart from turrets) are well hard. However that is not a bad thing as others have pointed out, when it comes to the real thing you dont want your base completly trashed. It was far to easy before. I think anchors could perhaps do with a slight nerf so they they aint nigh on impossible to destroy allowing for the advantage to still be with the defenders.

As it is currently, the only real way to win is with pylons. My experiences (villains vs villains) are kind of the same as Kinslayers in that losing the raid due to anchors being destroyed means something really is wrong (unless uneven numbers).

It is possible for an attacking side to get a strong hold but is very hard to do. I expect that you would have died many times before you able to do this. When the Violators raided E.V.I.L. they were only able to get a strong hold in the last few minutes of the raid. Even with a strong hold they were unable to really do anything.

Spawn camping can be overcome but you need to have tactics and be organised. If when you spawned you were all split up it would make it awkward to make coordinated attacks as you are all split up.

Personally I much prefer base defending as can have alot more fun/enjoying the carnage. For some reason it matters more when its your stuff being trashed and I think I get a bigger kick out of it then say the arena.

Well as Kinslayer found out, it normally takes us afew minutes to warm up and get into the swing of things. However, as we lost alot afew kills early, it was always gonna be an up hill struggle. Im sure on maybe a different map it would have been a different result. The games are finally balanced and if you aint on your game, it shows.

Dont worry Humanoid, there will be another and so hopefully be able to get lots of us involved.

It did take place but not with them teams - subs and mixed teams meant instead of having 2 scrappers on my team I had to face to scrappers with a team of squishies. You may have guessed we lost (but not by much). If i remember rightly the score was 4:2 in there favour. I think almost everyone now is on 1 life!

Oh and welcome to the boards Aeonic. Dont worry we be doing our very own sg Recluse Strike strike forces soon enough (although of late you could probably call the recent ones sg teams [img]/uk/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img])

Major pain for me as Kinslayer is my badge toon but I feel about as useful as a chocolate fireguard with him as his build is too much about heals and not enough about debuffs and brute force

Cheer up Kin, mine seems to be able to have a place on a team. Heals and buffs are very much needed so I def dont feel like a chocolate fireguard (melt armour is a great debuff and heat exhaustion cant be sniffed at either).
