I use those commands from time to time, and the syntax you showed is just fine. I don't know what the problem could be. I just tested it again just now to make sure the patch didn't mess soemthing up, and everything worked normally for me.

Your best bet probably would have been to call support and get your old account reactivated instead of creating a new one. Even if you don't have the same e-mail address anymore, you can call them and verify ownership of the account by using your full name and previous payment methods you used. If you provide them enough correct information, they could reset the password for you so you could have started on the same characters again. You probably still can... but there would be no refund on the new account either way.

Thanks for the update. That Resolute badge was killing me. haha

Ah yes, I forgot about those.. but it's not limited to those powers. It's ALL powers. There is nothing better than exiting a quick mission to find your Mission Transporter is already recharged.. except for when you exit a mission and have your Auto-Hasten stack an extra buff on you cause it recharged early. haha -
I took another couple pictures and enlarged them to better show that there actually is a difference. You can see it in the first pictures I posted if you look close enough, but like I said.. it's not as drastic as yours.
This makes me want to download the 10.9 just to see if i get the same result as you.. but then again.. it also makes me NOT want to download 10.9 haha
In the same order again:
-
I do notice some very slight degradation, but only when I stare at it while I switch the option. It certainly doesn't make it look like FSAA isn't working like your picture does.
Using the same options and in the same order as your images above:
-
I agree. He did give me a few extra missions that were not part of that badge series, but I stuck with him and was finally given the right set of missions, and the badge at the end.
-
When something like that happens, record the /servertime while inside the mission and then of the Zone you came from. The toggle problem is usually a result of the zone time not being in sync with the rest of the server. Sending a detailed /petition about the time difference lets them know about the issue and it usually doesn't take long to re-sync the zone so it wont happen the next time.
On a side note, a similar cause can allow you to get minimal patrol XP (or debt badge credit) while simply zoning, and I've seen cases where a mission door in a dayjob location also granted minimal credit toward that badge as well. lol -
Quote:And disabled Ambient Occlusion. Any level of it, with any tweak at all, breaks FSAA. Not badly mind you... but if you're out in a zone with a building's vertical edge in your frame, you'll see what I'm talking about.Quote:Seems like anything rendered against fog (atmospheric local fog or just distance fog) or war walls, etc. is not anti-aliased for me. I take it they haven't fixed that in the 10.9s then? Assuming it's even a driver problem that is.
If you want to take a screenshot of something so I can see what you guys mean, I'll take a shot of the same area with mine to compare. -
I will assume that if you know the path to the correct sound files, you should be able to make a copy of the Ouroboros loop and simply rename it as the name for the stealth power. Then when the game tried to reference the stealth power, it plays Ouroboros.
But this all depends on whether or not you know how to access the existing sound files and knowing the exact ones you are looking for to make the appropriate changes. I believe there are a couple sound guides in the forums somewhere. -
My question is, how would our old characters get the badges related to choosing Loyalist or Resistance morality? Would credit be given simply for making the choices in certain missions, or would our characters actually be branded as that alignment like it is for actual Praetorians, and if so, how would that affect our ability to return to Paragon City or the Rogue Isles?

Quote:How is it buried? It's a Sticky at the top of the very first forum in the very first section of the very first category on the forums.Easy if you know where to look. It's actually buried - if you don't know where to look - you won't find it.
Don't get your point - if you want that information available - post it on server status - that's where everyone looks. And don't know why you're so determined to defend the way things are done. That's fine - like the last guy- no more comments to you. It's pointless.
If you expect a flashing banner to roll across everybody's screen when they visit the forums.. you really have high expectations.
Sure, a message could be posted on the Server status screen, but then you are assuming that the people responsible for the web publishing are even around when problems like this happen. It's much easier to make a post on the forums where anybody has access to make such an announcement. That's where most people look for more info every time we attempt to log into the game when the servers are down anyway. -
Just think.. when I started playing this game, the downtime was EVERY weekday! I agree with you. We've got it good nowadays. lol

Quote:What does your account type have anything to do with seeing a message on the forums?Yeah - well - i'm not on a European server - so no - i didn't see that message.
That post was located:
City of Heroes Forums > English > News, Events & Announcements > Announcements:
Live Server Publish - 9/28/10
...exactly where most people would expect to see such an announcement.
Somebody also provided a link to it right in this thread. -

I'm sorry, but not for nothing.. I think you are the arrogant one in this case. Customer Service in general is never 100% in any business. There are always going to be people who are not happy and expect more. There will always be unforeseen circumstances. Most people understand that.
If this type of thing (a couple hours of unexpected extended downtime) happened once a month, I'd consider it a minor inconvenience. For you to demand to know every little up-to-the-minute detail is just ridiculous. Even the person who started this thread has shown understanding with today's issue.
Quote:Having checked - devs state server down 2 hours - 4 hours later servers come up - no comment in the meantime from devs. You think that's okay? Ridiculous.

Quote:I wasn't arguing. I was simply supplying the link so he could check.clearly states this applies to both. and, he didn't just say European servers are back online, he said "the lives servers are available again"
and stated that the global maintenance was over.
I don't really get what you are trying to say. It doesn't change the fact that EU is possibly up but US isn't, and either way.. it's already 75 minutes late.
Like I said before, I'm not rallying "bring them back up!", I'm simply talking about the issue. -
Quote:Oh yeah, that's the European version of the word. I should have "realised". lolthat was directly quoted.
