I get home around after 7 on Friday, so I might not catch you for the first run, but I could make it for the second... providing I can get some Incarnate Shards by then. lol

I'm just going to use my 3rd build for my first "respec". I have Perfect Zinger slotted into Invincibility, which is no longer allowed, so I know I'll have to replace that too anyway, so I'm leaving it alone. haha

We had another thread talking about something similar. Opening a mission info in Ouro was doing it to a few people as well.
From my experience, I only have the problem on one character, and she is a Praetorian. Every time I open her Contact list, it crashes. One time I had to hard-reset my whole PC because I get a blue screen error saying that one of the ATI driver files was caught in an infinite loop. Crazy stuff. -
Nothing really, but there are rare cases when the computer gets "stuck" with no connection because there was no connection when it was powered on, so the easiest way to prevent that is to turn everything else on and make sure they are running fine before turning the computer on so it'll hopefully detect the connection instantly.

There are quite a number of things that could be wrong, but rather than give you a long list, you are probably better off calling your internet provider. They could run a test from their end to see what is and isn't hooked up right, and give you steps to solve it.

I was sick this morning so I got a really late start. I just rounded 1100 on MB tonight. I'll have to work on the other two tomorrow. It shouldn't be a problem though.

I liked seeing which ones I still had while EX'd as well.. I guess it doesn't really matter one way or another though.

Quote:Personally, I love when things are done ahead of time. It saves everybody the trouble from having to "re"-verify the new badges on the site if we earn them on release day and things are not added yet.Yeah, it's just a matter of getting things done ahead of time as we can. Sorry for the confusion.
Everybody on the sites do a great job either way and we all appreciate it. -
Quote:That one is 45-50 on Villainside.I don't see a mission called 'Alone in the Darque' what level is that?
I know how you feel. That's the only one I'm missing on Heroside as well. I even ran the arc again this morning to test the souvenir for this thread, and still nothing. -
Quote:Unfortunately, without the corrolating backup data on the Live server to prove it was there, they'd probably have to strip the level too.. which would be just as good as re-rolling in the end anyway, meaning it's unlikely they'd do anything at all.I don't suppose if you might have a copy of those characters left hanging out on the Test Server? Even a stripped (of enhancements and Inf) clone of them might be better than having to re-roll.
If anything, a copy on Test might give them a date of when it was copied there. Then they might have a time period to look in the Live history for some real data to retrieve... but it's still a longshot. -
Quote:They mentioned being "far below 40", so for all we know they could have been between lvl 20-24 and not had access to it yet.Is there some reason you can't just O Portal out of there?
Looks like they did make it out anyway... but that's not even really the point of the thread. -

Quote:That would be nice. I hope so.Thanks!
Glad to know that extra TP units aren't needed.....unless they can link bases to both red and blue zones.....
Considering a Vigilante can already earn the Villain beacons for the SG, I don't really see a reason why they shouldn't just allow us to cross the SGs nowadays. There seem to already be policies in place to prevent people from going where they aren't supposed to anyway. A Hero entering a Villain base gets kicked back to Atlas when attempting to use the TPs. -
The details are the command has nothing to do with RAM (it referred to threads of commands sent to the processor) and is outdated. CoH will utilize 2 available cores by default for a while now without any special instruction. That's probably why you can't find it anymore.

Quote:All of the "target next" (and "target prev") commands work the same way. It will select the next target based on the distance all visible valid targets are away from you. Whichever is "next" distance-wise after your current target will be chosen.hmmmm... I hadn't really noticed that, myself. Pro'lly because I tend to buff when the team is standing relatively still, and I'm usually set back a bit.
I agree though, that it has not been my ideal solution. I would *much* rather cycle through the roster in order.
.
On a side note, this is also why some people think /target_enemy_next is broken. They don't always account for the fact that when you are still targeting a dead body from the last mob and move down the hallway, hitting /target_enemy_next might target a foe that is 2 mobs away instead of the ones directly in front of you... because distance-wise, that's what's "next". That's why it's good to clear your target or have target_enemy_near on a key to reset the distance as well. -
Quote:There are currently only 4 Explorations in Boomtown:Can't seem to get two of the new Boomtown exploration badges, End of the Line and Towering Inferno.
Any suggestions? Is it possible these are bugged? Or am I simply missing my targets?
Phalanxer
Regal
Vision of Despair
Destined for Vahalla
The new badges in Hazard zones are not Live yet until i19 releases.
This means the following badges in Boomtown can not currently be earned on the Live servers:
Towering Inferno
Boomtown Troglodyte
End of the Line
Corpse Box -
Quote:It apparently did award correctly at one point though. It's marked off my list:i think the "alone in the darque" flashback has also been broken like this for quite some time because i finished ouro badges years ago and this one still isnt checked off even though i ran it multiple times
Whether or not it's currently broken, I couldn't say. I'll have to run it on another character and see what happens.
Quote:I completed the heroes epic today and that is not showing as completed.
In that case, I think it's just a matter of them copy/pasting and not changing the Souvenir reference. It definitely shows as completed for me, and has been that way since the arc came out:
I guess I didn't look at it from a character who did the new one and not the old. Most of my toons ran the old one at one point or another, and they all show the new one completed, despite never running it on most of them. -
It appears that this arc is not awarding a souvenir. As far as I can tell, it's the souvenirs that the game checks to mark off the arcs in Ouro.
Along those same lines, Hero's Hero and Hero's Epic both award the same souvenir (unless they changed it), meaning if you complete one, they will both show complete in Ouro. I found it pretty funny when the Epic arc was first released and it was already completed. lol
Edit for clarification:
It appears Hero's Epic might not have a souvenir either.
The Ouro list marks off both arcs when Hero's Hero is completed. -

Quote:That's why I put it way over there. It makes it more believable at first glance. haha...huh. Only just saw it now. You know I don't read stuff to the right of posts, right?
On a side note, I'm with you on the Black Friday thing. Usually I'll just go out and buy whatever I want, whenever I want it. I don't wait for a single day of the year and hope for a bargain, especially when the big-ticket items they put on sale are usually smaller or lower-grade stuff that wouldn't be any improvement over what I already own. Sometimes there are decent deals on smaller stuff like movies, video games, or other random things, but it's nothing I'd wake up early for. haha -
Quote:Not only will it not go in order, but it wont guarantee to get all team members before starting over either. It kinda depends on if they are standing still or not. If you are doing it during combat and people are moving around, it's more than possible that Player6 will move closer to you and Player5 (while targeted) is moving farther away, resulting in Player6 being skipped until you "cycle" through again. The only thing that sorta works is "target_custom_next teammate". I have it bound to "Q". It will roll through the teammates, but not necessarily in the list order (1,2,3...). It is positional... it will select the next teammate nearest to you and work it's way to the teammate farthest from you. But it WILL go through the entire team roster.
Also, that command requires the player to be in view, meaning if Player3 is standing behind you (off your screen), or behind a corner or object, they will be skipped as well, whereas the "teamselect #" commands will select the teammate regardless of their location (within the zone), allowing you to /face them or /follow closer to them if desired. -
If you ever did a /chatsave in the past, then your file contains your own setup at that time. That may be why it's not doing anything for you. Try this..
Temporarily remove or rename any chat.txt files in your directory and create a new character. The new character should then start with the standard defaults. That will allow you to do a /chatsave to record those defaults, then relog onto the pre-existing character and do /chatload. -
Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to have to back out of tonight as well. The holiday has brought a handful of friends in town visiting their families, so we'll be getting together instead. I'm sorry I couldn't help out with this one. I wish you guys the best of luck. See you for the next one.

Quote:The Temp powers are granted by stepping into the machine in the last room of the last mission. If they run out, you can charge it again y stepping into the machine again.1. Are the temp power recharges automatic or do I have to do something to recharge?
All temp powers that are not part of the TF are disabled. There are very few exceptions (like the gun from the Kahn TF). Craftable powers are certainly disabled. -
