Quote:/2 ICC25 LFM RANGE DPS 5200gs+If my fiancee doesn't drag me into a raid in WoW, I'll be there ^.^
---
for the folks who mercifully have never got in to WOW:
/2 is for the Trade channel which is not used for trade but for everything.
ICC25 is the commonly puged high end raid
LFM universal term for Looking For More.
RANGE DPS once again universal terms usually means they are looking for Mages, Hunters and Warlocks and sometimes Shadow Priests
5200gs+ Since these days WOW players rate the gear with an ADDON called Gear Score, honestly not the best way to find good players reason to give up on WOW right there. but sadly Blizzard is like Crack and I so want to hate them. -
not that many folks would remember my characters, but all of my characters are based of fiction which can be found in comic books however they where all made during the Marvel Lawsuit period so I made sure the references where only barley noticeable.
Marhiel is an Elf in the classic D&D fashion, ...lets just say there was a Greyhawk comic and Marhiel is very close to an elf that use to be in that comic.
"During the 1980s and 1990s, DC Comics published several licensed D&DAdvanced Dungeons & Dragons, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, and Spelljammer."
Irken/Evil Irken not based on a comic, but a TV show made by a comic book author. ... and if you can't guess then I am sorry you are way too sheltered.
Inquisitor Tiburon My Master Mind who I am making into a Hero was heavly inspired by Inquisitor Ascendant by Dan Abnett and Simon Coleby it was a short lived comic series set in the 40k universe and well if you see Tib running around you can't miss him. -
Hi guys/gals been away a long time and well I renewed and I may start playing again...
just wanted to say hello to Virtue and was wondering who was still here and if anyone I use to know is still around or do I have to make new friends. -
I did that with Malkavian Who, Who happens to be a Time Lord mixed with a nitus....
and has a Time Lord Badge -
Quote:Now, dimensional-travelling characters, however, that's another story. For one character alone, I think I have... maybe about 20-25 different versions of him, all relating to some MMO I played, an RPG (pen-and-paper or no) I've taken part in, and whatnot. I dunno; I never really counted, so the number's really a guesstimate.
Oddly My Main Mariel is such a Character...
AD&D, EQ, E&B, SWG, EVE, WOW (5 servers), COH (all Servers), CO, DDO, STO(beta) -
I have two, Malkavian Who; he/she was a Gallifrian who merged with a Nitus while Regenerating. He/She lost any ability to remember much of its Past life and has no clue of its own gender Name or anything really, the Name was just random he/she saw a poster for a Movie Starring John Malkavich and took His Last name and made it a first. (Sort of a constant shape shifting “Master” in carnation, just not the master he/she was someone else)
The other is my Mastermind, Tiburon. He is from the year 41399 a.d., and is an Imperial Inquisitor Ordo Malleus. (Warhammer 40k Based Character)
and for the few who have no Idea what Gallifrey is, this is the Name of a world from the center of the universe. Moreover, home to one of the oldest intelligent races in the Universe they were called "Time Lords" the Most Famous Is the Doctor but at one point the time lords where the Guardians of the Time Space continuum until they got pulled into a Time War with the Darleks now Very few Time Lords Exist. None should have survived but some did.

I think that is my main point, one line of dialog would solve all of it, such as a Kelvin Bridge officer in the background just saying "Scanner Reads Romulan But its Very Advanced"
-
Quote:Good rebuttals, however in good writing and story telling you have to leave clues to a conclusion.Mariel,
There are at least a dozen ways you could Identify a ship as Romulan without ever seeing a Romulan (a bit of shortsightedness, of the 60s, who thought we'd have two way 50' visual screens in our living rooms by 2010 and a line that needs to changed in the Balance of Terror. ).
Romulan Power signatures/ship design: Even though they'd never seen a Romulan, they had fought a war against and I guarentee the "outposts along the Neutral Zone" have huge huge huge sensor nets spying on Romulan space. Given that this is Archerverse (Scottiy's angry admiral's pet, who reappears in the book) I'd bet not seeing a Romulan doesn't equate to not having a clue about how they design ships and what they use to power them. Trek hasn't show massive inovation in what powers their ships, just the efficiency, it's possible the ole Romulan Artificial Quantum Singularity power is how the Roms do the FTL thing and everyone knows it. So the tactical computer goes AQS power source, threat probably Romulan. We do that with submarines now (Tracking sound profiles)
Markings: I'm not convinced the Nardea wasn't marked. Sensors that can handle trans-light navigation and put visuals on the screen at millions of kilometers may just notice things we don't. There may not have been a Romulan Star Empire flag on the mining ship, but how about SS Nardea writing in Romulan script?
My favorite is IFF: Maybe the Nardea was just broadcasting her IFF, Nero wanted the humans to pay for the destruction of Romulus (sp) maybe he was broadcasting to the universe.
Red,
Lucas innovated the summer blockbuster, and I'll give you fantasy, but not Sci Fi...ok maybe Sy like the Sy Fy channel (meaning no science at all)
Let’s say I was writing a story set in the cold war where a Russian super submarine goes rouge and I had an American spy trying to find it, I would mention sonar tracking and “tell tell” distinctions between American and Russian Subs… In addition, if the story was made in to a movie I would make sure we had a scene showing this. I wouldn’t leave this to the Audience to figure out.
This is where my complaint with the story telling comes in, they made a point of giving both Spock and Kirks Background but the Main Villain was a little short and too quick. To me this is a minor yet annoying writing mistake.

But what I find Most Astonishing is that so many of you Cry "Nerd" when I point this out. I am a lot of things and I fall in to a nerd like category since I like Sci-Fi, Anime, Video Games, and Computers. But I doubt any of you would call me a nerd to my face. I usually get 'OMFG a Vampire", "Freak!!", "are you one of them devil worshiping goths?", Nerd is almost never used. My point is I can like a good story and be a fan of something with out being a trekkie. I have never gone to any Star Trek Convention, and in the 30 or so times I have gone to Las Vegas I have only once gone to the Hilton. I have never baught a video, book, DVD or any other Star Trek realated Material (besides a bottle of wine and a case of beer, the one time I did go), I did However Download all things Star Trek, TOS, TAS, TNG, VOY, DS9, ENT, and all the movies, And I did Watch them. However I did the Same With babylon 5, BSG, Star Wars, Caser Closed, Naruto, Ranma, Macross, and many more. -
Quote:Good point unless you consider several facts from both the movie, and all Conan sources.Small logical error here.
Just because nobody had seen a Romulan (in person) doesn't mean they wouldn't recognize a SHIP with a Romulan configuration.
Again, pre-ST:TOS, the Federation HAD engaged the Romulans. They had just never actually captured a prisoner or seen a body. You know, nuclear-powered ship + damage = *KABLOOIE!*
And by ship-to-ship they mean "nobody's seen them on a viewscreen".
1.2156–2160 The Earth-Romulan War is fought between the United Earth and its allies, and the Romulan Star Empire. The war ends in a stalemate though the Romulans are defeated at the Battle of Cheron. The Romulan Neutral Zone is established. No Human or Human Ally ever sees a Romulan and the only Identifier is the giant bird painted on their ships.
2.2233 the USS Kelvin Attacked by a “Romulan Ship” it never Identifies itself, it has no “War paint” since it’s a civilian mining ship the size of several space stations during this time period.
3.2387 Romulan home world destroyed, Nero Attacks Spock and is pulled though time.
Facts we can assume.
1.Narada is not new but not very old either. So it could have been made anytime within the last 25 years however it is not 226 years old.
2.Nero is not using a military communications channel when he addresses the Kelvin and the com officer never states a Romulan signal.
3.Do to the size and shape of the ship any markings identifying it would have to be searched for if you have never seen a ship like it. Moreover, I doubt that a giant bird would be conclusive in this case.
---
The Doc Brown theory of time works for the technical look and feel of the Movie, this why my only real comment on it was the brewery feel of the ship.
things to justify that.
A young hiker, Henry Starling, finds the timeship in 1967, and steals its technology to found his own company, Chronowerx, which leads to the computer revolution of the nineties. (justifies the Advanced Look of the computers in Enterprise and Star Trek 2009)
2285 Kirk takes a kilngon ship to 1986. Montgomery "Scotty" Scott invents transparent aluminum.
2063 Zefram Cochrane meets the crew of TNG.
2151 Jonathan Archer is Caught up in the Temporal Time War. (justifies some of the bad writing and cannon errors in ST:Enterprise)
2153 Borg Sphere Found in Antarctica. (justifies the better weapons in Star Trek 2009) -
Quote:There was one tiny bit that annoyed the hell out of me.
Kirk and Scotty beaming back on board the Enterprise.
Let me get this straight:
Enterprise jettisons Kirk. He gets out of pod. Travels 14 miles to outpost... walking. 3 mph is the average walking speed. 4-5 hours to get there.
The Enterprise has been traveling away from the Vulcan solar system at Warp whatever (faster than light) for 4 to 5 hours.
This implies that the transporter used can disintegrate/reintegrate particles instantaneously across any distance of spacetime with enough accuracy to drop a couple guys into a engineering bay.
If that was the case, why bother with spaceships? Ever?
EDIT: Not to also mention the fact that they're able to do so but unable to lock on to a body falling at a measly 56 m/s? Whut?***WARNING NERD CONTENT***OK, This reply is Ultra Nerdy.I start with Star Trek:TOS – Assignment: Earth
this was an Episode from the third season an was meant as a spin off series if the studios took the option. This Episode Has a Man from earth transporting Across the Stars Planet to Planet, the type of transporter is not revealed.
and now we look at the other long range options
Quote:Quote Memory Alpha
A subspace transporter is a transporter that uses subspace to transport an object.
Unlike a normal transporter, which sends its signal through normal space and thus limited to a much shorter range, this transporter uses subspace. Compared to a normal Federation transporter, which had a range of about 40,000 kilometers, it has a range of several light years. A probe was once transported from a distance of approximately 300 billion kilometers this way. For comparison, a Galaxy-class starship would take twenty minutes at warp 9 to bridge this distance. A transport in progress would not be detected by sensors because of the use of subspace.
Although transporting through subspace increased the effective transporter range and made it possible to beam through deflector shields, the technology behind it was unreliable and energy intensive. Because it uses subspace to transport matter, this matter needed to be in a state of quantum flux. Not only is this highly unstable, it also is the reason sensors cannot detect a transport in progress or that shields can prevent transporting.
If the signature of a subspace transporter is known, one can detect it when a particular subspace carrier wave is approaching. This makes it also possible to determine where the end coordinates of the transporter beam will be.
Someone who used a subspace transporter would leave a distinct subspace signature on anything he or she came in contact with, although this contact needed to be more than brief. To prevent a beam-out with such a transporter a pattern lock needed to be prevented. Because the transporter operates via subspace the subspace field coils needed to be tied into the transporter system. Depending on the type of transporter the subspace signature might decay faster than normal, making it difficult but not impossible to determine the origin of the transporter beam.
Federation transporters could be modified to transport via subspace (although this was not advisable) by aligning the field coils, synchronizing the phase dampers after which the transport pattern was modulated. The transport sequence itself was longer than normal because the pattern needed to be shunted through the subspace field coils. There was no guarantee that the person in question could be beamed back. Geordi La Forge and Data used this technique to beam Jean-Luc Picard to the ship of DaiMon Bok.
The Federation researched this technology but abandoned it because of its unreliability and energy requirements. The only one who once used a subspace transporter was DaiMon Bok when he tried to get even with Captain Picard for killing his son. (TNG: "Bloodlines")
In TNG: "Realm of Fear", Reginald Barclay cited his Transporter Theory class in which Dr. Olafson talked about "the body being converted into billions of kiloquads of data, zipping through subspace." This would suggest that all transporters operate through subspace (which would also explain why transporter beams don't destroy everything they pass through like an energy weapon) and would seem to conflict with the later dialog of TNG: "Bloodlines".Quote:The sub-quantum transporter was meant to be a device capable of transporting people from planet to planet. Had it been successful, it would have made the Earth Starfleet obsolete.
It was invented by Emory Erickson, who had previously invented the transporter years earlier. The sub-quantum transporter, though, was a failure. According to Erickson himself the sub-quantum transporter was based on a fundamentally flawed concept and would in fact never have worked at all. In 2139, during early tests, Emory Erickson lost his son, Quinn Erickson, in a transporter beam. (ENT: "Daedalus")Quote:Transwarp beaming was a use of the transporter to beam a living being from one planet to an adjacent planet, within the same star system, or even onto a starship traveling at high warp. It was postulated by Montgomery Scott.
In an alternate reality, Montgomery Scott debated with his instructor regarding relativistic physics in relation to subspace travel involved with the equation. According to his instructor, long-range transwarp beaming was impossible, but Scotty thought it was easy. His first attempt was to transport "Admiral Archer's prized beagle." When asked if transport had been successful by James T. Kirk and Spock, Scotty replied that he'd let them know "when it turns up." The whole notion of transwarp beaming was according to Scotty: "like trying to hit a bullet with a smaller bullet whilst wearing a blindfold, riding a horse."
On Delta Vega, Scotty made a second attempt, with help of a future Spock who already knew the completed equation. Upon viewing the formula, Scotty commented that he had never considered that it was "space" that was "moving." The second attempt was to beam Kirk and himself from Delta Vega to the USS Enterprise. It was mostly a success, although Scotty materialized in a fluid filled chamber and almost drowned. The third use of transwarp beaming was the transport of Kirk and younger Spock to the Narada, that was orbiting Earth, from the orbit of Titan. (Star Trek)

Quote:We all Know Lucas Dosn't have a clue. he was the original sell out.Don't get hung up on what is, and what is not "canon" when it comes to sci-fi, fantasy and other episode-based fiction.
As for Abrams he was smart to create an alternative timeline so he could have Artistic freedom, and my only issue really had an easy fix. which would have added to the story.
let me put this in a math term.
ever hear of the concept of proof? and have you ever wondered why you teachers want you to show your work?
there is an order to logical thinking. Abrams Missed a piece of logic and this sticks out, had he included a reference point it would be a better film not because a fan of a long dead and poorly written series would feel better. instead it would add a flow of logic which always helps in Sci-Fi since so much Sci-Fi has no logic what so ever. -
Quote:I have Actually studied that part of the film, and they jump to knowing its a Romulan and that Nero is Romulan with out any introduction dialog of any kind. Also, keep in mind that Nero made contact with the Kelvin that gave them a starting point to ask who is this?
it would have worked if Nero had said "I am Captain Nero of the Romulan Star Empire" but he didn't.
and yes Its a reboot from the moment the Kelvin comes in contact... However the time line up to this point should be the same...
unless they want to take "ST:Enterpise" and the "Time War" Changes as the starting point of this timeline.. which then I throw every thing out and give up on Star Trek forever. Which may happen with an Up Coming MMO -
After seeing this Movie 3 times at the theater, once in I-Max, and Downloading the Blue-Ray Torrent, and watching it a few move times. I am ready to say my piece.
The Good:
The Action was fast fun and furious, and was worth the time. The movie goes at a pace that makes it worthwhile.
The Bad:
The inside of the Enterprise looks like a Brewery.
The tech isn’t just prettier, but actually felt more advanced than the original series.
Romulans- the first time any Human ever sees a Romulan is in TOS: "Balance of Terror" and the crew is shocked to find that they are similar to Volcans. The ship Narada looks like nothing seen in any Star trek series and yet “Starfleet” and the Klingons know it’s a Romulan… How? How do they know a Romulan when they see one.
This is the direct quote giving all the known information on Romulans
Quote:- James T. Kirk – Balance of Terror"...As you recall from your histories, this conflict was fought, by our standards today, with primitive atomic weapons and in primitive space vessels which allowed no quarter, no captives. Nor was there even ship-to-ship, visual communication; therefore, no human, Romulan, or ally has ever seen the other. Earth believes the Romulans to be warlike, cruel, treacherous... and only the Romulans know what they think of Earth. The treaty, sent by subspace radio, established this Neutral Zone, entry into which by either side would constitute an act of war. The treaty has been unbroken since that time...."

Quote:To me the idea that someone with poor grammar is disrespectful because of poor grammar is wrong. And no one said your good faith effort was not taken in good faith. I have dyslexia. I know many people that have far more severe forms than I have. What is causing the response you are getting now is your very negative and derisive response that proper communication is about respect, not your own use of language.
We object to your content, not your form.
You see unless we go to that other MMO with elves and orcs we see very little Leet used so when someone makes an error in spelling and grammar here and they are pounced on I find that disrespectful.
COH is not WOW and most of the folks here do their best. -
Quote:She was calling me an ignoramus, actually.
You fixed it wrong, for your information. Your very first "fix" is a comma splice, an inappropriate use of a comma. Comma splices are very common among those who are able to communicate verbally with eloquence but rarely have to communicate effectively in writing, because it is a common mistake to place a comma where you would pause while speaking. This, however, is not what the comma is for.
I'm not saying I use proper grammar in my typing, I have several disabilities that make the written and spoken word fairly difficult, but I do like writing and speaking so I work very hard to use English.
you may not understand this but for me English is not my first language and I have dyslexia. for me I need to contently check my self and make sure I get it right but I do not expect others to do this. -
Quote:Sorry I just fixed your post, if you are on the perfect grammar side then please use proper grammar or your augment is invalid.((I disagree. My character HEROID regularly butchers the English language when he speaks, but it is generally for comedic effect. Even so, I take pains to make him clear when he is trying to communicate in a serious manner while staying true to his personality. But that's in role-playing.
With out-of-character communications, clarity is even more important. I have been on pick-up teams with Leet-speakers and quit because those idiots expect me to interpret whatever idiocy they are failing to communicate. People who use urban slang also confound me and I avoid them. It is not because I think they do not know proper grammar. It is because I speak English, and I am sure they can too, so if they respect me, and they know my language, they will communicate in my language. It is that simple.
One of my best team-up partners when the game first started was a Japanese girl living in the U.S. I could tell right away that she was extremely bright -- a lot smarter than me, in fact -- but English wasn't her first language, so I took that into account when we role-playing or chatted. I mean, her English was infinitely better than my Japanese was. The point is there is a difference between not knowing well the language of the people you are interacting with and purposefully using slang and dialects you know they do not understand. I never had a problem understanding her, by the way, because she knew how to structure a sentence, even if she did not quite know the right word to use. I was able to fill in the blanks simply by context. Did I mention she was extremely bright?
In addition, yes, I know when you role-playing or chat online, you type fast and make mistakes and some of us are better typists than others -- that is not a problem. I can even live with people who do not use caps in the first letter of every sentence. However, people that do not use proper syntax, punctuation, spelling and sentence structure. Alternatively, people who are just sloppy and expect their language skills to compensate for your laziness?
Yeah, if you do not respect me enough to be clear, I don't respect you enough to listen.
Have you read any Mark Twain stories? He is one of the fathers of modern fiction! The language in his stories is clear and concise, despite the fact that he uses colloquialisms generously. In addition, I think Samuel Clemens would consider it ignorant for someone to cite him without bothering to spell his name correctly.
Ely, in my experience, is far from being an ignoramus. Ely has always been very polite, certainly humble, and extremely intelligent in my opinion.
Nevertheless, maybe you and Samuel Clements disagree. )) -
Quote:Actually, I think you are confused. First, everyone on these forums is a Character and not a real person.I think you may be confusing the speech of characters and communication between real people...
The whole purpose of language is to facilitate communication. Sometimes clarity can be altered for idiom's sake... things such as the iambic pentameter or phonetic adjustment to simulate accent... but internet-style text speaks was developed not to facilitate clarity of expression, it was created for speed. Hence the creation of stock phrases such as "lol," "noob" and so forth. Much like Leet, it is even more obtuse cousin, it is only an effective pseudo-language if everyone within the conversation is aware of the lexicon. It fails to become successful as a medium of communication for this reason.
Clarity of communication is SO important in the written media. That is why people object to being forced to decipher bad spelling or odd syntax. The easier it is for someone to play with another person, the more likely they are to play with that person again.
Moreover, most communication over the internet is between characters and not real people.
Why do I say this? Who am I? What do I look like? Am I male or Female? Old or Young? Tall or Short?
If you cannot answer these questions then I am a character and not a real person to you.
Part of communication is the willingness and understanding that English is a constantly evolving language. The written word five hundred years ago had very few if any rules; it was not until the invention of the printing press, that the English language got its rules for grammar and spelling, which we abuse today. Even then, anyone with a press could publish dictionary, and they mostly did.
In my life, I have seen several words change in meaning and spelling such as Noob when I was younger before the internet Newb was an abbreviation of the phrase New Body and it was mostly used in the military, for people who had just come to a duty station. It wasnt really considered an insult it was just a way to describe someone new to a situation. Now adays it is considered an insult and it has changed in spelling.
Some of you may say but your example is not a real word, but I say to you that it is. English is unique in that it can accept new words daily and it can evolve over time.
Also lets look at how English evolves I will use two words both are in the dictionary both come from Mexico and are Spanish words, and we use different pronunciation rules for them.
Texas
Chihuahua
Long ago Texas was called tejas, pronounced TeHas. But the English speaking settlers couldnt say TeHas and started calling it TeXahs,
Conversely, say this dog breed aloud Chihuahua bet you said Chiwawhwawh and not Cheyewhoahwhoah according to the written rules the second is correct but most people say the word close to the Spanish pronunciation.
So if someone types something and I can understand them whats a little error in spelling or grammar when English is so messed up anyway. English is a forgiving and complicated language.
Oh and just to let you know I had to fix some of your grammar in the quote.
Leet is a proper noun and the name of a dialect. Moreover, you used like in a very informal way. -
Quote:It is, oddly, a form of respect. People pick on grammar because they think you can do better. Because they expect you to do more, and find looser and lighter use of language to be simple laziness. It's sort of like your mother who knows you can get As or Bs who refuses to let you "settle" for Cs.
It goes both ways, too - by using proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation, you in turn show that you respect those you are communicating with enough to take the time and effort to communicate properly. It's like the difference between turning in a double-spaced, properly typed report and a hand-written scribbled one.
Poor grammar and loose language is a way of telling the people you're communicating with that you don't consider them worth the effort of doing it right. If you take the time to use proper language, you're telling those you're communicating with that they are worth it.
Are we worth it?
blink, blink... waaaat? I don't think so, NO WAY ARE YOU OR ANYONE WORTH IT....BLAAAAA
you got to be kidding that is a little pretentious wouldn't you say? I wonder if someone tried to say the same to Samuel Clements when he first started to write. What he would have said?
Sometimes we type the way we talk, and if we use word order or spelling rules that you are unfamiliar with then that may mean we are from another part of the world or we may think very different from you.
Bad Grammar has never been an insult. Moreover, to say that is the most moronic thing ever said on these or any forums.
My dear I hate to say this but you are a well spoken ignoramus. -
Quote:As a person with a disability that makes my use of words very difficult, and from the few times I have been slammed by Grammer (bleeps) I highly doubt you or others can tell when someone has such a disability. My two inf on the topic.
Personally I hate when people post in multiple colors because the great majority of the time it slows dowm my reading speed by a huge margin. I go from reading a sentence at a glance to reading each word individually. It does however give me great insite into why people who are slow readers generally hate reading. It's like watching a slidshow instead of a movie. I just generally skip past those messages.
Let's put it this way. You might think colors are cool and easy to read because you are the one who typed in the words in the first place so you know exactly what they say. However some people like me will experience a slow down when reading them. Other people won't be able to read them at all because due to differing levels of color blindness.
Second, on to grammar. People who are capable of using proper grammar and spelling and yet refuse to do so are annoying. Have you ever spoken with a person who mumbles? Yes they are usually understandable but when they say "I went to kmr yesay an ba sm nuw shs." don't you want to say to them "Speak up. Did you go to Kmart yesterday and buy new shoes or did you go to the Kmer Rouge and bah Sams Nishes?" Poor grammer and spelling are the text equivalent of mumbling. I will read those messages and don't really care that much personally unless the poster of those scrambled musings starts defending themselves by saying "So wut. If you no wut I ment then it dosnt make no difference." I tend to ignore them from that point on.
((Disclaimer: If a person has learning difficulties or the language being posted in is not their native one then it's a different matter entirely. In those cases it's like a speech defect or an accent and is usually quite recognizable.)) -

I am not going to lie, I am VERY new to this. Before I just played the game for fun, then I discovered this forum site. It intrigued me to know that I could post so many things on here, for instance...the AE thread. But I obvisiously didn't know is how critical everyone is on here. I don't mean how critical people are with the thread titles or the idea of it, I mean how critical people are of color fonts and how i use my grammer, yadda yadda yadda...But since everyone here has been so kind as to point out my faults, let me point one out to you, when you know someone is newer on here, instead of being so mean about things, just give them a heads up and tell them politely, instead of, well, basically starting an arguement! I really don't expect any responses, and if I get a few, kool beans. I just wanted to tell everyone that happens to read this, that I am sorry for the colors of the font and my 'attitude'. Hopefully, in the future, I will get better at this!!
Its OK lots of folks here have no Humor what so ever, and I think you should use color just try to avoid Flashing colors that mess with eyes.
Me I usually use Pink...well on the old forums it was hardly noticeable, these forums are a little different.
Needless, you shouldn't be too Apologetic to everyone here since they can be meanies at times.
oohh what is an Flashing color?
Back in the 19 century certain people discovered that if you put two bright and opposite colors next to each other they would create an optical illusion.
Today it just gives folks headaches.
Personally I like them.

Rping does not necessarily mean you have to be intelligent or vulgar, or what-ever. You can play it out how ever you want.
And for those who don't like how someone else RP's, GET OVER IT! I'm tired of fighting and having this arguement, everytime I say I am RPing and I'm not to their expectations. Don't like, don't play with whoever. PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!
Oh yea, LAY OFF HOW PEEPS SPELL!!! That drives me nuttso!
