I like PvP. I don't like PvPers.
I'm not talking about the good half. The ones who like a challenge, who when defeated will say "Good job, let's go again."
I'm talking about the ones who will scream "Cheat!" if you beat them one on one but will crow about how skilled they are if they jump you with two of their friends along.
Unfortunately the latter comprise a large percentage of the pvp community.
It's hard to play a game of baseball when several players are trying to deliberately bean the batter, spike the second baseman as they slide into the base, and screaming insults at the opposing team. The real players often just give up and go home hoping that the next time they go to the field the petulant brats won't be there. -
One part of this is awesome beyond belief. I can't wait to see Lusca and Paladin running away from the Rikti. Will they head for the nearest doorway? If so how will they get in?

Still want a big red ball. Still want it done the same way debris are done since we can now kick those around at will meaning there would be no additional coding needed except the graphics for something that looks the same from all sides.

Well, the lag isn't from Hamidon, it's from 100+ heroes there with him. With each pocket D being limited to 50 there wouldn't have been that problem. At least I think it's 50.
And I personally had a blast attacking the huge groups of monsters and villains. Debt doesn't matter because it's on test, rp doesn't matter because it's on test, and the hospitals are 50 feet away from the battle. It actually made PvP fun as opposed to the usual pvp build players easily defeating the pve build players again and again. Especially if they can easily two shot them. -
I still think they should have spawned Hamidon on the ski slopes.
Or at least Sally. -
Mind you I'm just guessing here. But if I were to guess I would say that the basic IOs that we will be able to complete by solving the university mission in Steel Canyon would be level 25. And I'm guessing that they would be level 25 even if you crafted them at level 40. And I'm guessing they would provide a 29.5% bonus once you slotted them and the bonus would remain 29.5 even at level 50. Like I said though I'm just guessing.
And no I'm not in closed testing. If I were I wouldn't be stupid enough to even guess at things like this. I'm just guessing that if for a limited time there had been a way to get to the university from underneath then somebody might have discovered exactly what the basic IO crafting did. -
Ok, I don't see how it can be at all difficult to make a big red ball. Right now with I7 you can blow up an autoturret and play kick the can. You can kick other objects around too so how would be ball be different? Just make it so it gets pushed around by people running into it instead of by attacking it.

There is at least one exploit which I can think of off the top of my head. You can target anybody in your friends window who is nearbye just by clicking on their name. That would allow you to target a hidden stalker friend or any other hidden friend for that matter. Even unhidden friends that were near enough could be found behind buildings or walls.

Statesman. Why you stuck up, half-witted, scruffy-looking herd-nerfer.
