  1. I have just over 3,600 hours of playtime logged on my main. He's been level 50 since July of 2006.

Building him was fun, but playing him at his full capability is more fun.

I never realized the depth of your sickness until now. I guess that explains why you took the name "Thirty Seven" as your handle, because of its mathematical weirdities.

    Woot! Tonight the frog-fishery begins!
  3. Woot! Ready to play it and can't wait to see what's in store.

    Will there be pollywogs?
  4. Or maybe the Floating Fortress is directly above the real zone, Atlantis!
  5. Well, thanks anyway guys. Guess I'll have to be happy with double merits and a Looky-See-Here of the Well. Plus, freaks.
  6. I've heard that when issue 20 arrives, shards will drop for Incarnates at below level 50.

But I've heard unsubstantiated rumor that shards are dropping now on the Task Force of the Week (Sister Psyche).

Is that rumor, or will I be pleasantly surprised when I get home from work today and join a Sister Psyche TF and find shards dropping?

See, I told you it was foolish.

I've been thinking that too, and others, without any evidence other than what you've posted. It kinda makes sense. I've also heard supposition (i.e., unsubstantiated rumor) that the level shifts will stack too. Hopeful thinking? Yes. But who knows.

I am preparing a second "Very Rare" Enhancement to get a head start -- just in case it is. If it isn't another global enhancement, I'll have another Very Rare enhancement to slot in the Alpha Slot. So nothing wasted really.

    Hope, hope.
  8. Reichsman pops "Unstoppable" the Invulnerability power. The DRG removes his Untouchable power, where he takes no damage at all at the beginning ofthe encounter.
  9. Hero side, Khan seems to come in two flavors.

    * I've been on teams that have handily beat him down pretty fast

    * I've been on teams that have taken two hours or longer (my longest was almost 3 hours, and the team were all well organized members of an SG that played together regularly, before everyone gave up).

I sympathize with the disgruntled players that get the three hour team the time or two they try it. Completing this one is like passing a kidney stone, so glad it's gone, but you never want to experience it again.
  10. Marlin world? Will Flipper be there? Haha! I jest.

There's a combat inertia that happens in AE arcs, and teams will tend to go so fast they miss some of the finer details you put in. So tell us to slow down when we get to something cool that you don't want us to miss! (Plus when to read thingies like enemy/hero bios)

Looking forward to more Architect Tickets! Woot!
  11. All I want is to be able to set a RANGE to TAB TO NEXT ENEMY.

Really, when I'm in the midst of combat against the Trolls, why do I care if there are Circle of Thorns WAY OVER ON THAT HILL ...

    Cool!
  13. Wow, Rhode Island's coastline points almost due south ... In order for it to have the shoreline necessary for Paragon City, it would need to steal and occupy that eastward-protruding part of Massachusetts.

Is there anything in the lore about the Rhode Island/Massachusetts War?
  14. Heya PCSFers!

I have 2 1/4 arcs of the planned 4-arc mission complete. With luck I can have it ready for Thursday, if we want to try it out. It's exactly like "Where's Waldo" only completely different. Plus, there's some weird stuff.
  15. Okay, I'll see what I can whip out for next Thrus (February 3rd).

    Mwa-hahaha!

    MWA-Hahahahah!!!!

    MWA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. The giddy twelve-year-old in me loves the song, but it had to grow on me.

I like that each line of the lyrics matches up with a specific hero or theme:

Our world's about to break - Hydra (Villainy in general)
Tormented and attacked - The Hulk
Lost from when we wake - Captain America (Cap awakened from the 40s)
With no way to go back - Thor (Exiled from Asgard)
I'm standing on my own - Iron man (Trying to save the world himself)
But now I'm not alone - The Avengers
    Avengers Assemble!

I've been an Avenger's fan from the early 70s, and this is probably the best animated series adaptation I've seen. Can't wait for Wonder Man to make his appearance as an Avenger either ... hopefully soon!
  17. Aahh, well rats. I've really enjoy your arcs Ny. I appreciate all the effort you've put into yours, and how your arcs have really advanced our team story. I know it's frustrating when you slave over a hot Architect Entertainment Interface all day and find that your latest improvements and adjustments have not saved and you've lost a good chunk of work ... stinky.

I'm going to re-visit my story I wanted to do (It does nothing to "advance our story" really, it's just a miscellaneous hero adventure) and maybe I can put something together in a few weeks if anyone is interested. (And you don't mind offering me some advice here and there ..)

    See ya'll Thurs!

Feliz cumpleanos de los dedos gordos!

    Children

The original Rikti Invasion portals triggered an anomaly within the Shadow Shard and now all babies and children in Paragon City are saturated by an invisibility/phase field that wears off when they complete adolescence.

I thought this was common knowledge.
  19. So vigilantes it is then!

Fun arc Ny, it was good to take on so many AVs. (And then a five of us in a victorious battle against the Winterlord to top it off!) Sad we missed the last bit of exposition though, I may run through it with my main hero to check it out more closely.

Someone mentioned that trail of water leading to the base teleporters ... hmmmm. Something is fishy there.

It will be fun to hit the Isles (as vigilantes and not villains, as soon a Gabbs gets off his goody-two-shoes pedestal), and bring some justice to the people there. Just hope we can get our names cleared soon!
  20. Well Pactolus, I'm about to double down with a deuce and a King, and two Queens. Pass the martini.

PS: I haven't committed Thermodon to a server yet, he only exists in the aether of the costume generator. I'm awaiting an o'fishal announcement of an o'fishal server for if and or when we o'fishally start running these guys.

    O-FISH-ally.

    Heh heh.
  21. Okay .... let's see if I did this correctly:

Apparently not! Hmmm ... working on it still.

Edit 1: Maybe if I resize them ...
Edit 2: Sweet mommy, YES! I figgered it out.

Okay, here's one for the ladies: (Froggy went a'courtin' and he did ride - uh huh, uh huh!)

Okay, seems I need to work on my mad photo-porting skills a bit, but there he is!
EDIT 3: I may rework some of the colors on the Valkyrie belt, and add rhino horns (metallic) to the helmet. Hmm...

It's a new and shiny thing. Everyone wants a new and shiny thing!
  23. I'm working up a new costume and story behind it if we're going to "Go Bad" still. I imagine we'll talk more about what is our ultimate fate on Thurs!
  24. I can't believe you brutally murdered my Kheldian. That's okay, his twin brother, or clone, Thermodon, seems to have been possessed by a Kheldian too -- what are the odds? (Actually, this name fits him better anyway since he's based on the Huge body type)

Sigh, okay Photobucket it is then. I'll post my pic for consideration tonight.

    Name Stealer.

    Wylde!
