Fellow MAers, my next arc, my first serious storyline, requires some specific maps to be completed, and I need some help finding them. I've unlocked nearly all the map packs I think I need. On my list:

Yes and no. Custom critters can do things (right now) that we cannot in our wildest dreams. I made a Dark Blast/Dark Armor EB as my first custom last night. On Easy, he had a few blast and one or two armors. On Hard, he had half the blasts and some of Dark's toggle controls. On Extreme, he had every damn NPC Dark Power from those two sets. And you'll notice that not all NPC sets are exactly like ours. His Dark Blast set gave him the ranged Dark heal on top of things like Blackstar. Add that to DA's Dark Regen, and you're looking at a tough customer.

So far as your example, you can't necessarily mix that many different powers, but you could probably give him two, plus all the other powers available from those sets.

Was kind of hoping for a "pick from this list" myself as well. Maybe we'll get it later. But right now, you can still make some extremely potent combinations.

According to all the gaming news site articles that NCSoft supplied information for, Issue 14 is scheduled for release sometime this month. This, of course, assumes nothing goes horribly wrong during Closed or Open Beta.

Considering Open Beta hasn't started yet, don't look for it this week or next, but it *should* be out by the end of the month. (Tuesday the 24th and Tuesday the 31st are favorite picks among the speculator crowd.)

Take a look at the main page for I14. The third pic looks like the Contact creation. From my rough look, it seems you can call the contact anything you want, give them a new identity basically, but the model has to be in the list of current in-game contacts. Dean John-Yu becomes Mr. Lewdal, but he looks the same and is still in the University. I think that's what that shot is portraying.

Just looking at the revamped UI, I think we can put to bed many of the "MA is just a newspaper mission generator" bollocks that's been floating around. There is far, far more detail available since the last iteration we saw. It looks like the Devs weren't kidding about going back to the drawing board to include the things people were clamoring for.
