They were not even in the same realm as trying to solo a Purple level Proton. He is far harder and requires some planning. -

From experience: if the aggro from the Yellow Mitos isn't managed while the main group attacks Hamidon it is highly likely that the support characters will be overcome by the splash damage from the Yellow Mitos, and the sturdier characters will fall very soon after.
Even at capped 75% damage resistance (85% for Khelds, and 90% for tanks/brutes) by using an EoE, a player would still have to contend with damage coming from multiple sources which can quickly eat away at HP, knockback and stuns from the yellow mitos ranged aoe attack, plus other nasty status effects from the green and blue mitos.
You could be left with a league wipe, no warheads for buffs/debuffs, and multiple mito blooms to contend with if the blitz strategy fails to defeat Hami on the first try. This situation is not impossible to overcome, but it is still very daunting and time consuming. -

I know stuff like this happens and people are definitely entitled to run other trials, but personally I think it's just in bad taste to form a trial at the exact time when a weekly trial event is run... Especially if you're active on the forums and within the Protector community, which this person was. On such a small server, it's hard enough to put together a league for this kind of stuff as it is.
First, your last post was on this subject was December 20th... more than a week ago.
Second, on more than one occassion you've either chose or were unable to run your event.
Third, there have been iTrials going on nightly for months in RWZ led by me and a handful of other people.
Fourth, I didn't see you say anything in Protector Vigilance and I advertised in more than one global channel.
