  3. Okay. Thanks.

Though, I have to say, purple enhancements don't get any of the perks of being attuned.

2: High Pain Tolerance AND Fast Healing AND Resist Elements AND Resist Energies
3: Dull Pain AND Instant Healing
    4: Unyielding AND Indomitable Will
5: Invincibility AND Rise to the Challenge
    6: Quick Recovery AND Resilience
7: Tough Hide AND Quickness (from Super Reflexes, the cheat!)
8: Rage (and with no damage debuff crash, just because it's the Hulk)
9: Unstoppable (but with no crash like Statesman)
If I was going to build the Hulk's power sets with just 9 powers:

    1: High Pain Tolerance
    2: True Strength
    3: Resilience
    4: Entropic Aura
    5: Invincibility
    6: Rise to the Challenge
    7: Against All Odds
    8: Quick Recovery
    9: Integration

    Edit:

I think it would probably make sense to switch out Resilience for Temporary Invulnerability.

Fixed a bug that would revent the attuned version of Armageddon: Damage/Endurance to be slottable if Armageddon: Chance for Fire damage is slotted.
    Attuned version?

  7. I'm sorry, but the psychiatrist aspect of Doc Samson is such a huge part of his character that I cannot consider anyone else a rip-off unless they're also providing counseling to other super-heroes.

Delilah has some similarities to Samson, sure. They reference the same story. They both have usual hair colours. His is the colour of the Hulk's skin, her is the colour of the Hulk's pants. They both have super strength and a degree of invulnerability.

"Super Strength and a degree of invulnerability" is about one of the most common super hero powers.

    She's a reference to Doc Sampson, yes, but she's not a rip-off.

    Doc Sampson is a Psychiatrist
    Doc Delilah is an Archeologist

They have vastly different motivations and personalities as well.

  11. And he's the type of tank that has all of his attacks slotted for taunt and control.

I'd tend to see Jackie Chan as an Improvised Defense/Improvised Weapon tanker.

And yes, he'd tank Recluse with a toggle that just floored Recluse's to-hit chance. It would probably involve spending a lot of time between Recluse's legs and crawling around on his back.

They couldn't possibly: The moment they don't use unique pieces to create an NPC, a player can recreate said NPC, and said NPC is no longer unique.

Adding timers to appropriate missions when you're told "Hurry, there's not much time!" on those that don't have timers now, of if singling those out is too difficult, add a timer to every last mission at the end of all the story arcs.

Lower the ammount of time available on missions which already have timers.

Team wipes (or your character defeated, when solo) will fail the mission.

Stuff like that. However, they MUST be selectable options. I don't think it'd be well recieved if they just started making difficulties like this standard
Challenge conditions like this exist already in Oroboros and for Task Forces.

There are a number of problems with allowing more missions to be failed.

    1) It would introduce new technology. That's not a bad thing, but there are often problems with new tech in the game. I know that the first time I ran the "Protect the War Wall generators" all the generators were destroyed within about a minute of entering the map. I never even saw them. That's frustrating.

    2) Escourt missions and game AI. Everyone complains about Fusionette, Lady Jane, General Runs Screaming into melee and hits things with his pistol, and the like.

    3) Balance. The archetypes that would have the most trouble with missions like "protect soundso" are Stalkers and Blasters. Archetypes that don't really need any more trouble soloing: Stalkers and Blasters (blasters much more so).

    4) Why does being defeated mean failure for a Dark Armour Tank, a Fiery Aura Tank, or a Willpower tank? I don't like taking my Radiation defender on "Master of ---" Taskforces because it means I won't be able to use Fallout, Mutation, Soul Transfer, or Vengeance.

    etc.
  19. I thought it was a nice bonus for Rogues and Vigilantes that you could get them with merits but not alignment merits.

You should be able to use the Enhancement converters if you want it for a different AT.

Being account bound would be much better than giving warning that they're character bound.

As of now, if you have more than six on a character (which can happen because they'll drop in Dark Astoria as well as in Trials) there's nothing you can do with them.

Well, if you're willing to pay, you can use Enhancement Unslotters to remove the Superior ATOs you have slotted and send them to another character (since they're account bound). You can then slot new ATOs and catalyze them.

There needs to be a better way to handle them.

  23. I wasn't really getting at anything, except a bit of sleep deprivation.

The crab spider is natural because the crab spider starts out as an Arachnos Soldier. She gets a gun and she gets tactical training.

At level 24, she gets the option to go Bane or Crab. She also gets to keep her gun and tactical training if she likes.

Both Crab and Bane are more technology based than Soldier.

Similarly, Widows only start out with claws, darts, and tactical training, but Night Widows and Fortunatas both get psionic powers, which are more traditionally found in mutants in City of Heroes.

Why are Fortunatas and Crab Spiders natural? Because the technology doesn't exist in game to have them change from Natural to a different origin.
