Wouldn't an easier way to do all that to do a build in Mids and save two copies? Then you can just remove IOs from the 2nd one as you buy and slot them? You know you are done when it's empty? (and still have the original saved so that it's easy to see the full one).

Though you could not keep track of inf this way I guess.

I tried to keep track of stuff, especially my bidding on WW, but it was just too cumbersome LOL.

Just curious Lin, why replace a 20 mill set with a 500 mill set when you lose recharge? The recharge bonuses from glad jav are only active in pvp.

It is approximately 3-4 pages. And you can write any kind of story you like about your character, a beginning story or expanded bio is a suggested starting place, but if you have other ideas, go for it.

You may absolutely submit any time before the deadline! Nothing will be accepted after October 15th.

I am currently hosting this contest on several different servers. It is being hosted by me through PERC, rather than PERC as a whole. So the prize is per server forum that it is being hosted on.

Hi everyone! Last year I ran Victory's first ever character/player auction. I plan to run this again this year (in October or early November). I am looking for people who would like to be auctioned off or for donations of services, team spots, prizes, etc.

Those who wish to be auctioned:
You must be willing to spend 4 hours with whoever buys you. It can be in chunks of 1 hour, 2, hours, or 4 hours... whatever is mutually agreeable. You must be willing to do whatever the buyer requests as long as it is acceptable under the TOS. PLing, inf farming, are discouraged, but if you are okay with it, that is your choice. You will get 25% of the amount bid on you to keep for yourself (unless you choose to donate it back to PERC for future events)
**note, I will not take any auctionees on the day of the event, so if you want to volunteer, you must do it ahead of time.

Those who wish to donate services:
This may include art, build designing, base building, shopping, costume designing, bio writing, etc. All services must be specific and must be completed within a reasonable time frame of the end of auction (2 weeks to 1 month).

Those who wish to donate team spots:
You can offer up a spot on a team for a masters task force, to get a rare badge, etc. This should be something that is specific and special (aka a spot on a random team for 2 hours would not qualify). Please make sure if you are offering this that you have 7 people total (or less if you need less) who will be willing run this team.

Those who wish to donate prizes:
You may contact me and tell me what you wish to donate or email it to me in game with instructions. These donations can be anonymous or recognized, your choice.

This was an incredibly successful event last year and I was able to use lots of the inf generated to run other events and give out prizes. If you would like to volunteer for any of this, then please send me a PM (make sure to include your globals) or talk with me in game. I will not be taking volunteers straight from this thread. DC has taken on all 8 heroes with his invuln brute before, but usually with pretty decent buffs or a lot of insps.

I think the slot management will be difficult. But I predict a lot of people may select stealth, invis, and grant invis and just slot lotgs +rech in them. That wouldn't take any slots and would give a nice bonus! (for chars that don't already have a lot of defense powers I mean)

Just wanted to say that we had a very awesome impromptu MoLRSF tonight! We had a little bit of a non traditional team, so it was really pleasing that we did it! Was really glad to get a couple of hard core badgers their badge on hero characters.

Team Makeup: 2 invuln tanks, 1 scrapper, 2 /dark MMs, 2 cold corrs, and 1 emp controller

Oh and extra grats to MG on his first ever completed LRSF!

I set up the run. From the entry into the raid computer to the end, it was around 15 minutes. The setup took a lot longer because it was later at night and finding people was stuff, plus a few people did nuke or shivan runs.

Things that helped:
1. Having all team leaders on vent (or some kind of voice chat). We were able to easily communicate where our teams were at and when to attack or pull back. We then communicated directions to our individual teams via team chat.

2. Balancing the teams. Gave each team a tank, some damage, and debuffs. Bubbles/sonic definitely helped to give squishies some mez protection. Having a good amount of debuffs was definitely important for the final challenge.

3. Shivans, nukes, and heavies. I think we had about 4 nukes, 2 heavies, and a handful of shivans. You could probably do the whole thing without them, but to do it so quickly, a little prep is helpful.

It was a lot of fun! After the first run, I wanted to complete it really bad. Being on the first run definitely helped us know what to do to complete the second.

Ugh with the Saturdays Maybe come September I will finally have one free!

I started before globals. My first character was a scrapper named Ruby Sparrer who I put a TON of time into creating and costuming. However, I didn't really know how to select powers correctly for a scrapper at the time (this was my first game ever). So someone suggested I try a defender. So I spent about 2 min creating MP and I thought the look was fun, but that it would never last. Well... I loved her and she wound up becoming the only character I played for a long time. When globals came out, it was automatically that and I did accidentally change it once (to my 2nd character) because I did not realize I only got it to change it once (I had wanted my name to be correct on the global chat channel my sg had lol). So I changed it back to Madame Pistacio when we got a free one. I would like to change my globals to be @schatzie and @schatzie2 but people know me as MP or FMP or Madame so the name stays . Besides I guess it is cute to be FMP and MMP .

Glad to see you finally hosting this! I remember some word of it some months back.

Wish we could make it Gris but that is the EXACT time of the "surprise" bridal shower my family is throwing me. It's a "surprise" cause I have to drive 5 hours to get to it lol!
