What hits me as "Boring" is when both you and your enemy have both used all their attacks and are now waiting for recharges.

[/ QUOTE ]Which really doesn't happen after L25-ish (especially if you have VR attacks), unless you're playing pure support, in which case you're not meant to be attacking anyways.

Honestly, any zone beginning with a C is called Croatia. I though this had been settled ages ago.

I'm also wondering if some aren't jumping the gun with disappointments. After all not all facts are known about Issue 13, don't forget the "More" part in the announcement.

[/ QUOTE ]

If the "More" was that good why didn't they mention what it was?

[/ QUOTE ]Because they usually do at least two feature updates for every issue?

I'm not an expert on MMOs by any stretch of the imagination, but it seems to me that the concept of a "do it yourself" mission creator is truly ground breaking and potentially will impact on MMOs and computer games for years to come.

[/ QUOTE ]Apart for Ryzom which was already mentioned, there's already a long history of user-created content (with official tools or otherwise) in non-MMO games, so it's hardly revolutionary.

+10.5% Damage.

[/ QUOTE ]+10.5% damage buff, not direct 10.5% damage increase. If you have 90% damage buff from enhancements in AS, and have used Build Up for an additional 80% buff, it'll increase your final damage by
Code:[/color]

((1 + 0,9 + 0,8 + 0,105) / (1 + 0,9 + 0,8)) - 1 = 0,03888888...

Or approximately 3,9%

So no xp no inf no drops , means very few play it other then friends and curiosity

[/ QUOTE ]Did you actually read Posi's announcement? It's quite clear that there will be rewards, but they simply won't be high enough to encourage farming.

Plus, Shields were a job so big that they had been taken entirely off the table as impossible. They've brought them to us regardless, because we asked (shouted and demanded).

[/ QUOTE ]

I think the offensive use was what was holding them back - if you drop the idea of the shield ever having to leave the avatar's hand, then it becomes a lot easier, I think.

[/ QUOTE ]Wrong. It's the fact that the animation system of the game is very restrictive, so every power that can be used by a character with a shield powerset needed an alternate animation for that purpose.

tbh highly unimpressed, what happened to i13 being massive?

[/ QUOTE ]It's pretty big, and that comment was made when VEAT's were supposed to be included as well.
12. If it's affected by enhancements and BU, it'll also be affected by other damage buffs.

So yes, it would

Will 'smugglers' always sell the recipes? If it consist a 'core team' of smugglers, they more often will share the recipes among eachother, min/maxing every toon and every alt before even shifting them to the AH (except if they are the lousy recipes).

[/ QUOTE ]And if they had no way to farm TF recipes efficiently, they'd be farming inf instead, and buying those recipes from the AH, resulting in more demand with the same supply, thus making them more expensive.

Considering the amount of "normal" farming that people do, TF recipe farming can only move the economy into a more balanced direction.

I agree it is a great game, you can be as casual as you like or go hardcore and grind it out to 50 in no time.

Unfortunately due to lack of finances, cost of household bills getting a bit high. So something had to go and I'm having to cancel my subs

Now if only the character creation wasn't so involved my hubby would have played...but like he said he doesn't want to spend hours on creating a character. So it would be nice if at some time you could choose between a quick creation mode and the normal complex one most of us love.

You can Top of the menu are the costume "sets". Drop down the box, pick a costume set (fighter, hero, viking, etc, etc) choose colours and away you go.

[/ QUOTE ]Or just hit the random button a few times and adjust that.

Is the Collector's Edition the Wolf Helmet, Crab Helmet, Fortunata Helmet and Widow Helmet?

[/ QUOTE ]Those were the pre-order rewards (for either the CE or normal version of CoV), although only the wolf spider helmet was available in the EU.
16. [ QUOTE ]

If you've already got the Logo's Vet reward, all you'll get is the cape logo.

[/ QUOTE ]Aren't the two chest emblems different?
17. [ QUOTE ]

Smugglers help to 'import' expensive and rare items and sell them at a much cheaper price; 'generous' internet users upload movies and musics on websites for others to share. Their actions are indeed 'kind': bring goods that are otherwise expensive or rare to the masses. We should all be thankful to them.

[/ QUOTE ]Sounds good to me.

c) Buff bar: Its where PvP starts to get complicated.Attacks appear before they actually land.

[/ QUOTE ]

Does connection speed or anything affect this? Tried the same thing to see when my MM is about to get TP'd (try working around that one stalker haters! ) and haven't been able to spot a window of time where I can react yet. Admittedly I haven't had a lot of time to test this

[/ QUOTE ]It depends on the power. Oh, and it works just the same in PvE than PvP.
19. [ QUOTE ]

IOS and recipes have made SOS not as sought after

[/ QUOTE ]They never were that. Why would anybody do a trial to get an SO when you can buy all you need from a shop for next to nothing?
20. [ QUOTE ]

Or another way to inject some normality and fun back into Eden Trial is to put a 'Kill-All' criteria into the trial. So basically, everything moves in those caves, dies. That should make Eden trial less of a farmland but more of a normal trial.

[/ QUOTE ]More like make it take forever (or possibly even be impossible) to complete.

If there's really need for a limitation, it should be something sensible like having to defeat 20 greater devoureds.

But IMO, there's no need for even that.

(And no, I've not ran a single Eden speed-run ever).
21. The problem with the 45 month reward is that it gives you something that in previous rewards was just a little bit of extra added to the main reward. The VR system in itself is fine IMO, but the 45 month reward needs something added to it.
22. [ QUOTE ]

i rather have the dept be in affection of HP and energy then XP, makes leveling fun but shows that you have to avoid groups of enemy's when you're doing things solo.

[/ QUOTE ]Both ways increase the time it takes for you to level. One of them also decreases your enjoyment of the game. I'd rather use the Co(H/V) style.
23. [ QUOTE ]
A trial that is got a timer of 4hrs or so to complete and folks do the entire thing in 10 mins !!

[/ QUOTE ]It's always been possible to do it like that, the only problem being the titan if you don't ambrosia farm, but even that has several workarounds.

And the 4-hour limit is a joke, like all time limits in CoH except for the sewer trial and one PI mission.
24. [ QUOTE ]
Raptor packs definately out, The idea of being able to use the jump-pack but tactically at the right time for your route is the idea. Obviously marshalls are going to be on-hand to watch the contestants - closely, but powersets will be looked at on entry and any abuses such as temp-powers or swimming would obviously be disqualification.

[/ QUOTE ]You might want to have the competitors assigned to teams with observers in them (you'd need several observers per zone though). This would allow you to see if someone uses a power like raptor pack for a few seconds, which would be very hard to spot if just observing from air.

Of course, limiting people to L4 (or L1) would make things a lot easier.
