I very much appreciate the lesson on layers and using transparent colors. Notice his visor and belt buckle. That lesson helped a ton.

Ran another Costume Contest and the winner got prize money, recipes and another free attempt at drawing by me.

I first looked for pictures of Guyvers and the first thing that came up was an action doll. I am currently waiting for my book on dynamic poses so I went ahead and drew in the pose that the character was already in.

I am starting to get a feel for shine on the armor by mixing colors a bit, and layers are starting to make sense to me.

Want to add a point to this guide. If for any reason you find that your SG and the other SG has all the required raid mechanics and they send invite to raid............but it tells you YOU CANNOT BE RAIDED when you try to accept: Do this.


Open up your base editor: If the words are flashing red on main toolbar that Something is blocking LOS to a raidable ITEM:


The answer 90% of the time is this. Go check your ROBOTIC FABRICATOR or FLAMES OF Hephastus. You may be blocking a WORKTABLE either tech or arcane. MOVE THEM away from worktables to a more open area. See if the red words go away. THEN retry your base raid.

First (2) questions as I move through this:

I did steps 1-4-------

1. Now lets say I used a scanned in image of something I have drawn. It sees that as background layer---not layer 0. Is that okay?

2. The layer that I name Base---Now you are using the paint bucket fill tool on that? I used grey.....as an example and the whole screen went gray.

This would allow you to create the basic generator/control to power the high priority items to create the higher tier ones.

Why not make a spare fusion generator and keep it in inventory? You're not charged until the item's placed.
Ditto any item which would be extremely difficult-to-impossible to replace if your base was crippled. Sure, it might be a salvage drain, but with some pre-planning, still doable.

I chalk this up as another reason why Vigil Station shall not be converted to PVP. I don't particularly like the idea of losing a 7.5 million prestige item....

Here's a consideration as well...you have to buy it again after yo ucreate it don't you? So how long will it take you to earn that 7.5 mil? Or do you get it back when its destroyed (I doubt that actually)

[/ QUOTE ]Can't remember. I think it is refunded (prestige only) as soon as its destroyed and you lose only the salvage, but I could be wrong. That is certainly true if you just delete it in the editor.
