  1. Stealth is more of a convenience thing, the smidgeon defence is just nice to have.

    Yeah, dont know why i went vigor instead of spiritual, i have that t4 on my 2 regen toons already lol..

    As far as animation times go, im not exactly sure, but it 'feels' shorter, so I feel alot safer with click powers.

    Also, stunning is just fun

    I should also point out that the massive amounts of endurance might need to be culled somewhat, even sillyness has its limits. Although it is nice to never have to worry about the blue bar

  2. I've got a Kinetic Melle // Regen Scrapper that im thinking of rerolling, as I seem to get absolutely crushed by the long animation times while doing Incarnate content.

    The reason I'm trying for Brute is because I feel that the extra hp will be more than enough to survive. As well as the slightly lower cast times in energy, and the possibility of making even AV's stagger promises to be a blast.

    I decided to skip build up as it doesnt fit the 'feel' of the charachter. I have also gone almost exclusively for recharge in order to make Dull Pain perma.

    My scrapper currently has all the sets other than Armageddon. Vigor Alpha makes Dull pain perma regardless, and combined with the accolades and bonuses, gives me a nice healthy 2944 hp.

  3. Thats understandable. I just feel that they contribute alot to the situational / fun aspect of this build.

    I've done some re-thinking, re-working and re-speccing, and this is what i'm running now. Not that much different to the original build, but slightly better.

  4. Cool. First off let me say... Vengeance instead of Grant Invisibility... the blatantly obvious lol.

    I really do like the bonuses you have, much more than my own.
    Travel power at 14 is pretty damn good, seeing how at the moment I'm making do with Beast Run +23% run speed, which I lose the second i get Exemplared...

    I already mentioned that I dont want Hasten, and trading Super Speed for Stealth would give me more defence anyway.

    In hindsight, those 3 slots in Power Syphon would be better used in the attack powers, but I think the bonus from having the Adjusted targeting Tripple and Recharge would still be worth it.

    Numina is vastly superior to doctored wounds, that really goes without saying.

    I also feel that missing out on Repulsing Torrent, Focused Burst and Revive is not something i could bring myself to do.

    ALOT to think about and aim towards, ty for posting.

  6. I've had this toon pretty much since Kinetic Melle first came out. It's damn fun to play, and has plenty "OH ****" moments due to the interaction between the powersets. Long activation time, and a defence based on click powers means you have to pay attention ALL the time.

    I came back to the game literally the day before i22 came out, after being away for some months. Currently he's 50+1, and broke as.. well, he's just broke :'(.

    That being said, I just respecced as it seemed like the thing to do, got rid of hasten cause the animation annoyed me, and got some more defence, since extra time between being hit, so i can use my click-heals seems like a good thing.

    My plan is, to put it simply, purple out the attacks, for recharge and accuracy goodness, get Spiritual Core Paragon Alpha, for more recharge, healing, and permastunning goodness.

    Advice on slotting, power orders, and maybe what to do with grant invisibility since it's only there as a LotG mule to be honest...

  7. Ah yes, I do realise that.

    Like I said, this si simply the build I've got going now. I can't remeber how many ITF's or DA arcs I've done since i22 launched, just to try to get some purples.

    Basically, I'm going to try to slot my attacks with 5 sets of 5 purples.
    The recharge bonus will hopefully mean i can get rid of Hasten.
    The accuracy bonus will mean i can get rid of Tactics.
    This will free up 2 powers for probably Stealth and Grant Invisibility for 2 more LotG's.

    As a plan, this seems pretty solid in my mind. It also seems waaay excessive on the purples, and seeing how I'm broke from having to buy the ones I have, since all the drops I get are standard recipes, this will take some time...

  8. I made a previous post about this, but i think the title just made people turn away...

    Meh, so be it. My KM//REG scrapper, has seen a fair bit of action lately. Between me being back in the game for almost 3 weeks now, him being one of my 2 L50's, and a Vigilante to boot, the action has been plenty and varied.

    I cant remember what its called, but i've managed to get the spiritual alpha slot radial with 33% rech, heal and stun, and I'm looking to get the one with 45% rech soon-ish..

    The Long Term Plan that i mention in the post name, is essentially just to get perma Dull Pain, even though at this stage it mean using hasten to get close, and it burns a bit of my soul every time my toons hands burst into bright yellow flames....

    The powers and slot numbers may or may not be in the correct order, so if anyone feels like correcting that, I would have no complaints.

    Any and all advice is apreciated.

  9. Greetings all!

    Just got back into the game after some mopnths absence, and it seems that all my notes and whatnot regarding my build KM/REG scrapper build are no more..

    So, I figured I may as well put it out there. What do you guys thing a maxed out KM/REG scrapper build will look like?

    I use Ninja-run as my travel power, and enjoy the use of the Leadership pool (except Vengeance).

    This is my badger, so most of the time I'll be soloing through regular content and going back for Ouro stuff. The rest I'll be doing TF's where I generally get smushed while wandering off :P .

    When i get home I'll put my current build up from Mid's, including slots and whatnot.

    Motto: "Your Stepping stone to Greatness"

    The whole point of this SG is that it will have minimal upkeep costs, while providing adequate facilities for all members; Vault, Workshop, Reclaimators, Teleporters, etc. Literally a stepping stone for your toons.

    Requirements for joining are:

    1 Location: Preferably somewhere in Australia, or somewhere close to the GMT+10 Timezone. Preferably, just because this is where i am >.<
    2 Activity: a minimum of 2 hours of SG mode play per week.
    3 Willingness: As this SG is meant to be a starting point for Newbs and Alts alike, you need to be prepared to deal with those who are new to the game, in a polite manner.

    If youre interested, there are a couple of rules you need to follow:

    1. Play Nice. Basically, dont give others a hard time, and try and help out whenever you can. Remember, they could be anyone's alt.
    2. No Nagging. The other side of the coin to rule 1. If someone doesn't want to help, don't nag. Actually, don't nag at all. What anyone does at any given time is their own choice. Period.
    3. Be Aware. Pretty simple this one. It just means that you need to be aware that no matter what the toon looks like, the person on the other end could be anyone. Behave accordingly. Yes, I may act silly sometimes, yes I may get annoying, but as long as its not overdone, and you stop or settle down when asked, thats fine.
    4. Zero Tolerance. I dont really care about the circumstances, but tere will be zero tolerance to any incidents involving: Racism, Sexism, Harrasment, or any other purposefully offensive behaviour.
    5 Inactivity: this may be a place for many peoples Alts, but there is a limit. 30 days inactivity and you will recieve a friendly message and be kicked from the SG.
    6 Talk to me. Don't just leave or flame in the forums if there is a problem, talk to me. Send me a /tell in game, send me an email, or contact me on the forums. If you feel hard done by, odds are it's a simple misunderstanding, and I'll do my best to sort it out.

    IF, and only IF you are willing to adhere to all this, then either visit the Vigilante Basement website and register, or seek me out ingame for a quick Invite.

    At this stage, there is no SG base to speak of, since there are no members. Also, i would like to make as many Coalitions as possible. That way, once the newbs or alts have spread their wings, or just feel like they need more from an SG, they have somewhere to start their search.

    To other SG Leaders - this could be the ideal place for all your Alts if your SG is nearing its limit. Also, since the SG base will be rather small, with only the basic services available, there will be salvage to spare. Also, once they feel like they want "more" the members from my SG will have somewhere to start their search, and you'll know esxactly the kind of heroes you will be getting. Besides, being in a Coalition just sounds cool anyway.

    So, to anyone wishing to join, to anyone seeking a Coalition, to any builders or anyone else willing to lend a hand, thank you in advance for your interest.
