I'd like to suggest The Echo, arc ID 1688 by @ MrCaptainMan
-
My vote for best multi part Arc:
1: The consequences of war part 1 and part 2
2:The Audition
Lucy -
Ok, there are 2 that I want to nominate. They are both multi part arcs, but they can fall into different categories too.
So can I do this?
Best serious arc: Turg Fiction: Ghost in the Machine, Act I
Arc ID: 1013 by @Turgenev
Best multi part arc: The Audition Arc ID 221240 by @MrCaptainMan
Thanks, Lucy -

I chose the Unique Arachnos Arachnos Submarine base map for this, because I initially wanted it to be called Spider In The Bath, which would have been a nod to a lovely oldish British childrens TV show Spider.

I'd completely forgotten about Spider! I loved that! My elder son, who's twelve now, much means he's basiclly a monster, had a tape of spider songs that we used to sing along to.
I've just found Spider in the bath on youtube but I'm too much of a computer noob to be able to copy and paste the url. Can someone else do it please? If you haven't experianced the simple charm of spider, it may just make you smile too.
Love the comentry too MCM, it's really nice to be able to see what an author is thinking when an arc is made. I'd like to see some more of these.

This has just given me a fab idea for a new form of pvp (and one I might actually be good at). Those who hate farmers/Plers can go to the MA and type meow into the serch engine, pop into the mish to check it is a farm and not some strange tail of a missing kitten or some such, and press the report for content button.
Those who choose to farm/PL can quickly churn out new farms.
Race you to AE.

And I'd like to recommend the Echo, Arc I.D 1688.

If i started telling you a joke by telling you the punchline, it would eventually make sense, but the experience might not be as good as telling it the normal way.

Maybe it's just me, but I tend not to read the clues I get in a mission until it is already over. I don't have time really to stop and read every time I get one, especially when playing a Brute or a Dominator.

You dont have time? what, when you're reviewing an arc? I don't quite understand this?
It's probably just me being dense (it happens) but I assumed that when you are reviewing someones much loved creation you would take as much time as that arc demanded, not rush through to the end and then read the clues?
I hope that dosen't sound bitchy, it really is just a question. I think you reviewers do an excellant job, and I for one praise you for it.

Well I have tryed it, and I think it worked. I felt the end justified the means.
I wouldn't usually fall over myself for the chance to fight 18 bosses in a row, but in this particular case, I was so griped by the story that I was diapointed when it was over. -

Congratulations! You earned the Hall of Famer badge.
Hall of Famer has been selected as new title.
You already have 3 published arcs and cannot publish any more.

This probably speaks for itself, but am I missing something here? Is something supposed to happen to the arc now? Am I really supposed to have another slot?
There's no icon next to the arc, or anything.

A big, big gratz on that! wow, first hall of fame!
Gratz gratz grazt!

Ye Gads! Why do I keep reading these whiney "my sooper arc can't get an award cause of all u meanies!" threads.... I see em, I know what they are, and I just read em anyway! Stupid stupid.

This thread started on the same day I had a row with my son, Its the school holidays here, and he was feeling a little sad that his friends were going abroad and we wern't , so I went on line and bought three books for him from a series he likes, as a suprise to cheers him up. They arrived on consequtive days, the first two he was chuffed to bits with, but when the third one arrived it was the paper back version, which didn't contain stickers! He had a bit of a tantrum about it.
My response was "you're acting like a spoilt brat and if you carry on I'll take them all back off you".
I wonder if the devs ever think about doing that? -
As I understand it, you have to actually click 1 star then unclick it for the rating to be 0 stars.

Just finished this on my lvl 38 claws/sr scrapper. I needed it set on heroic, I would not have wanted to play act 4 on invinc!
It was amazingly good. Seriously. If you haven't played it yet get in game and do yourself a favour.
I warn you though, if your an author yourself, you might want to skip it. This arc sets a new height for how good MA can be. I almost wish I could take the 5 stars I've given out back, cause in comparission to this they were obviously only worth 4.

In the OP it states that an authour can only get Dev's choice once, but I've just read Mod 8's post 'Dev choice: becoming the chosen one', and it says that you can get mulitple DC's.
Has a red name said that DC is only obtainable once per author or it this just speculation? -
But you can still create as many missions as you want can't you? I was under the impression that we could create as much content as we desire. Its just that we're limited to 3 slots for publishing?
-
You can rate 0 stars?
So on those occasions that I couldn't complete a mission for whatever reason and I chose to not rate it I have actually given 0 stars? I really really hope that I have misunderstood this.
I also think limiting Dev choice to once per account is a brilliant idea, it was shown on test that having one DC'ed arc greatly increased the chance of you having another, this is surly a much fairer way of doing it? If the Dev's can only give you one DC they'll spend time looking for new authors instead of just playing the same few writers missions.
