  1. Woo! ticket fix
Now to go back and make sure none of my stuff borked with this patch.
  2. O_o
    ...
    ...

Well I enjoyed this edition of the scoop anyways
  3. They said it's first MMO to have user created content again.
The wrongness irritates me, but to be fair MMOs like Ryzom didn't execute it quite the same way. ( Ryzom had a nice scenario creator, but the game it self was just... guh)
Anyways besides the nitpicking, Excellent work on the video and excellent work on this issue 8D
  4. Awesome 8)
Now for the live servers to hurry up and work 8)
  5. 1. Agreed.

    2. Weird to pull off. Might as well just set up a global channel cause things like inteaming and such get essentially nullified unless in a co-op zone. It might be an idea to make it so if you're in a multi-moral (vill/hero) SG, if you're teaming with a Villain you can attend their missions only if they're in the SG. Once you're separated from your SGmate villain host, you get sent back to Blue-side. The system would be hard to pull off right, and I wouldn't consider it to be too plausible at all, but if they manage it, it would be neat at least.
  6. I prefer before.
Reasons, hard to explain, guess I think the patterns you used (circuitry) is one that either demands lots of detail like the prior pic, or little to no details at all. And I like the scheme of the prior more. Of course, all just IMO
  7. The LEGO RV Heavy met a most unfortunate end as my mom thought it would be fun to move my lego creation shelf without taking the creations OFF OF THE SHELF. Resulting in the horrible destruction of many a model. Luckily, like the phoenix from the ashes, I was able to build something new. Something cool. Something Transformery.

I will call him SHOCKWAVE. Because he's an Ion cannon truck, and because when I was done it Reminded me of Decepticon Shockwave but more red. . . Anyways, shall we take a look ? (taken with cellphone on the kitchen table, some blurry pics. And some other lego stuff of mine in the background... and henkei hound, he's a cool actual transformer so w/e )

First off, obviously, the truck mode. This mode is pretty neat. Lights on the front and rear (though they're red so you don't see them too well), nice details all around. Two driver wheels in the front and a set of larger rugged carriage wheels at the rear, behind a white cover plates, where the VERY BIG cannon is. This cannon is very big and fairly detailed. The body is rather massive and sturdy. It rolls around quite smoothly.

Okay, that does that. Looking at this model is only half the experience, the fun part comes when you TRANSFORM it. I find the transformation on him turned out very solid and every thing fit almost perfectly, and is a fun kind of complexity to it. I'll describe each picture so you know what's going on, cause some motion blur may make it hard to discern.
    Transformation:
Step1: Take the side panels of the truck and fold them forward. Then take the large pieces on the side-rear of the truck and bring them out a bit (don't torque them all the way out, it screws up the heavy duty wheels underneath) Take the feet on the pieces and turn them into direction where they are lined up properly to the rest of the leg, not all twisted like they were before.
Step2:Here you can fold those legs all the way down, using the rear section's wheel base as a support. Tip up the section in the back that will become the head.
Step3: well it's propped up, you'll be able to comfortably split the middle section of the truck apart. These are the arms. Now lower the body back down in a relaxed position and you can see the joints that are under where the arms where. These joints will be used in the torso transformation.
Step4: the lower half of the torso and the upper half of the torso can now fold together into a proper solid shape. Fold down and transform the arms. Each arm has an 'L' join on it, and you can fold the forearms from the contorted position they were in truck mode to become actual forearms. In the case of the cannon, there is also a pivot that places it inline with the rest of the arm instead of its off center position (that position allowed it to become the center of the truck, and be the actual cannon there).
Step5: Now we can take the rear panel of the truck and fold it into the torso. There's a brick inside that slide locks it into a slot in the torso and makes the torso very sold. At this point the robot is pretty well robotic. Just tweak some joint positions in the arms and legs to stand him up properly for the next step.
Step6: The final step on this adventure is taking care of what was the front of the truck. The truck's cab actually splits in two. the middle half rises and the outward half/wheels lower down. The middle section will slot into the back of the robot and become a sturdy and aesthetic backpack of sorts.

And there goes the transformation, here are some pics of our little LEGO brick mass of destruction! Shockwave is a large and sturdy robot with a brutish looking body. Posing him can be difficult though, as he is fairly hulking and that cannon is really, VERY BIG. But it's certainly doable. Definitely fit together every way I hoped, and it looks very impressive and imposing. I'm quite proud of it. Articulation works fully in the arms, legs, and the right hand has fingers. No waist twisting or real head movement, however.

  8. Point well taken, Hero_of_Steel.
  9. A Staff as a melee powerset has been suggested before, a bit back, and I do like that idea. There's one issue in the animations. With the varied amount of techniques among staff users IRL, getting a well put together and appealing version to people is straight up hard. Also, animating stuff like spinning staffs and the more 'flowery' techniques would be a lot to ask out of the devs animation crew.

As for a ranged set, I assume we're talking about a wizard staff that casts lightning bolt, flare, other elemental types? If so, I think it's a little too specialized in the magic origin to be a real option.

/sign melee set if they can get the animations right. Though we have enough weapon sets already D:
/unsign ranged set. Bit restrictive in theme. (if you expand the idea further here, maybe a workable version can be reached. But doubtful)
  10. I wouldn't consider this technically possible or that necessary. Though a nice QoL suggestion for storage items, You can always go through and do it manually. Put everything into the rack it should be in. I do this when I have free time, with my high ranking SG person. May take 5minutes of effort.

Expanding the salvage rack limits is something I'm all for though. (To my knowledge, they didn't allow a ton of storage to prevent groups from hoarding. )
  11. (It won't let me go back and edit my post, so I have to repost this.)

  13. I entered this game because of the good community and customization... The more I look at the i14 updates the more I EXPLODE
    (in happiness of course)
  14. Ah, excellent way to release hints about features and such. Though many things, by all means, don't require this much effort to 'explain' (like power proliferation, lol) I do appreciate the effort to make this affective and fit into the environment. I'm liking how the architect is shaping up <3
  15. Loved this edition of arbiter fabulous xD

As of this moment, EB, EBX, Best Buy, 7-11, pretty much none of the stores 'listed' that have CoX cards for sale have them anymore. I spoke with various stores, and they've completely stopped carrying them. Any particular reason why?

    [/ QUOTE ]

They've stopped selling CoH cards a long time ago, they use 'universal' time cards now. Did you tell them or know about this? If you did and they don't carry those either... well then I guess they just stopped cause they didn't see any profit in it or something. I'll swing by and check my local EB soon, I need more time anyways.
  19. lmao
    that's pretty amazing, Rose

I added a Missile Silo to my base for those times when the villains just won't give up.

might as well reiterate how cool I think that is

I might jack that idea and put them in my factory or storage room
