Ummm...oh...well...sorry...
(Can we get a lock on this joint!?)
Thanks for playing. :0) -
Having been with the game for a long time (i1!!), One of my main characters a Mind/Emp controller. As more powers are added/proliferated, I get a gazillion ideas on how some things, but not everything could be different.
It could be as easy as creating a new toon, but with most characters there are a lot of experiences and memories (and of course, badges) that can't be replaced or recreated. Let's just say if I wanted to change her secondary from Empathy to Darkness Affinity, then I could go to the Paragon Market, drop 1000 points (or so), and be able to spec into the power set of my choice. You could also be able to change the primary power set within the same archetype. Maybe 1000 per power set changed or even a "bundle" price for both...?
Just one amongst a gazillion ideas, but hey, let's hear what you think! <3 -
While we're at it, can we some Lost parts too?
Those already fit the post-apocalypse/scavenger theme too. -
What would be nice is an alternate (non-tricorder) animation set for the Medicine pool.
Maybe an alternate animation set for Empathy...? -
Hello Infinity,
Over the past couple of weekends, I've had the wonderful opportunity of running many of the Incarnate trials, and made much progress on a couple of my characters. Of course, that would be possible without the amazing strategy set by Armored Nictus & Co.
Unfortunately, I live in a waaaay different time zone, so when (the mainlaind) is sleep, I'm up and vice versa...or something. I log in and go across some of the globals to see if anyone is around to run a trial. While I understand that I shouldn't expect much in the way of population, I at some potential interest at hand. I barely get a team of eight to run a Lambda. We failed, but we did well considering that it the first incarnate trial for about half the team.
Anyways, my point here is that I'd love to run a BAF or even a "speed" Lam when I'm on. There just has to be enough interest online. Will this work? Maybe it will, maybe it won't. But hey, it's worth a shot.
Thanks for hearing me out.
P.S. If any of you experienced leaders want to fine-tune my leading of a trial, please get at me in-game or even drop the important points here. -
I was about to add the backpack to my schoolgirl character when I got the prompt that I had invalid parts - namely the sailor neckerchief thingy. Is this a temporary removal or is this forever locked on my character (as long as I don't change it)?
OAUN, can we have the "Malaise" pattern back...pretty please? -
Definitely Sonic.
I was looking for info so I could respec my Sonic/Psi Defender here, with no luck.
-
As I write this, I was logging in as Orangah, my Fire/Fire/Pyre tank to make her i19 compliant.
-
It would be cool PA (or even Phanty) was something like this?
-
Thanks for the input so far...
I should have said that this isn't a new concept since she's actually at 42. I DO have an ice fairy, but she's an ally NPC in an arc I'm writing up. I could have went rad, but she was made before Power Spectrum and I really didn't want the yellow-green (chartreuse?) stuff. Ice is a great set, but again, something different - and not so common.
@Biscuits: I just whipped up this 18 version since the 19 client won't work for me yet. Of course, I was going to wedge in a few more powers with Fitness becoming inherent. I just didn't think it'd be that soon. ^_^;
Points taken on the slotting though.
@Mike: Good stuff. Between you and Biscuits, I might achieve a better sense of "balance"...or something... -
Sure, I could have just made a full-on blaster, but I'm trying something a little different by going with a blaster-like concept that adds more defense. I poked around here and got some ideas, so let's see how this is conceptually...

P.S. I know I screwed up "advice". -
I've had this one on the back-burner for a good while. Now it's time to get him back into action.
I couldn't find a whole lot in the way of guides, so I whipped this build up in Mids.
You know the deal...advice, insight and all that. Thank you!

Thank you very much. It certainly has been nice to see some of the regulars around.
Now that Ero finally hit 50, I'll work on Dimana or even L.Rose next...time permitting with all the wintery stuff going... -
While I know there's not very many of this build around, I thought I'd take a chance and see if I could get a let little bit of help. This one has changed in a number of ways, and I'm not sure of good way to do this yet. So...I ask for second opinions, etc, etc.
Thank you kindly.

Here is my I4 / Lord of the SITH build

(An excuse to bind all the bad-guy quotes from STAR WARS trilogy)
Basically I went the damage route with Electric, and am depending on Fear and Holds rather than Short Circuit for control,
and then pets for more Control and Damage
What do you think of this build? I am really unsure on the slotting of Pets/Thunderous Blast

46 Dark/Elec here. I can offer a few things:
-The pets...try at least 4 recharge in Dark Servant. With that alone you can have up to three out at any one time. If you went all recharge, you'll always have a slight ovelap time for a fourth. Take the endrdx out of it, too.
As for sparky, go all damage. It'll hit for just as bout as much as a 6-slotted Lightning Bolt, though it doesn't cycle quite as hast as you do. it doesn't need any recharges since unslotted, you have a slight overlap of a second sparky.
Seeing as you have Aim, you can drop an Accuracy SO (or maybe both!) from all your primaries.
You have Darkest Night. Slot it up. You can make bosses have the accuracy of gray-cons, as well as those around him. -
With this one minute thing, I hope people don't die where there is no hospital (i.e. Terra Volta, The Hollows) and have to go all the way back...
Is an auto-follow going to be implemented? Might as well with this range thing (especially for support characters as everyone has mentioned)
