  1. Well

    [spoiler]

The Vanguard made an appearance in i9 beta on accident as can be found on ParagonWiki....

They definitely were not the good guys since they showed up in a police band.
  2. Few months ago I think in the Comics forum, you necro'd a few there

Wow. It must be fossel thread week on the CoV forums

[/ QUOTE ]I keep wondering of UberMind is a necro MM, cause this isn't the first time he has necro'd threads LOL
  4. Because there will always be a few who don't see the hero or villain hami raid hehe, so you have ppl going where is everyone. Just one of those things I guess.
  5. I think that would create way too much confusion honestly, but meh.
  6. You need to defeat the monster DE in the Abyss. The total number is random, from 8 to 50 according to BackAlleyBrawler. This was the exact reason villains needed a seperate Monster Island, otherwise it would be near impossible for villains to gather EoEs consistantly.

Sometimes you get lucky and yous pawn hamidon rapidly, sometimes you gotta work at it. You can always tell when Hami spawns whent he Mosnter De start making a breakf or it (running for those giant doors in the Abyss or where ever they might go in the Hive). Basically it gives control to do Hami and your leisure and not an all or nothing event.

Probably why I didn't recognise it, since cast away was absolutely horrid. As bad as Larry the Cable Guy in fact.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Now that is just plain insane. One had Tom Fricken Hanks and the other had....Larry the Cable Guy.

[/ QUOTE ]Now saying Cast Away was a good movie because it had Tom Hanks is about the same as saying Last Action Hero was great jsut because it had Arnold Swarztneggar(sp?) in it. And LArry is only funny because he has the other three in Blue Collar after his act so you have to usually go through the drudgery of listening to Git R Dun every 2 seconds.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well I can't think of a bad movie that Tom Hanks was the star in. Maybe I didn't like some as much as others but non where bad.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Agreed. I don't deny Silverspar's right to not like a certain movie, however to compare Tom Hanks to Larry the Cable Guy just shows bad taste in my opinion.

Frankly, Silver, if you couldn't feel the pain of the characters at the end of Castaway at the situation in which they found themselves, well then I would suggesting heading to the emergency room and having yourself checked for a pulse.

[/ QUOTE ]Raz, you really need to get out more, if you think telling me how I should feel about a movieis something to get all choked up about. Cast Away was horrid, Tommie boy didn't even put his heart into the role very well. Nevers aid he was a bad actor, quite a few movies I like that he starred in. However, Cast Away definitely was not one of his better pices.
  8. I know VirtueUnited for Hero Hami stuff. Think The Virtue LRSF channel villain side. But generally don't need alot to get hami up, and news travels fasts through coalitions. Great thing about the new hamidon, you can summon him at your liesure.

It's no more of the yellow dawn, raid failed non-sense.

  13. The only thing there is a skeleton though (should know since I have every zone mapped including the PvP ones >_&gt
  14. There is some little tiny spit of desert island in the north west corner of Monster Island. On this island is a man named Charlie Newland laying on the beach. When I click him he asks if I have seen Spaulding? Eh? First is that the name of a dev, and second, what the heck would that mean if I ahve seen Spaulding?
  15. Lot's of hints that I am looking forward to actually. I hope i10 and beyond will flow much faster now than inventions, one of the largest hurdles in the game, has been overcome.
  16. You seem to be mistaking somethings. I TP through grandville. I turn, I go through just fine, I suffer no lag or anything. This is on my mastermind. I don't need acrobatics for reistances or hold resistance or the like. That's what the pets are for.

You can write off Summon Teammates. Nobody can possibly still have it by the time they get high enough level to make it into the Hive or the Abyss.

I know that people are going to push really hard on this, and I've seen how handy Recall Friend can be when you're in over your head and how fun Team Teleport can be in Siren's Call. But boy, shoo-ee howdy shucks, do not count on lots of people having the Teleport pool. The Teleport pool sucks in so many ways, gimps you so hard for everything else, that I doubt you'll ever see a day where more than 1% or 2% of all players have it.

Holding your breath waiting for Teleporters to show up is going to be like holding your breath waiting for high level Trick Arrow masterminds to show up, and for the same reason. I'm not going to say that there aren't any. I'm just saying that you may well go days between sightings.

[/ QUOTE ]Actually TP pool doesn't gimp at anything... Very powerful pool to have as a mastermind for starters, and a good TPer can beat just about any other travel pool to mission spots.
  18. It would be highly unlikely someone will get through what is it? 35 levels from when you can first get team teleport from the mayhem in 3 days. It would be nice, however, that some of these former mayhem powers were craftable, maybe with less time attached to them. I would certainly enjoy being able to craft a replacement flight pack... mines almost out of gas >_>
  19. The Crafter channel for Issue 9: Breakthrough is actually Virtue Crafters. Yeesh I musta been super tired when I wrote that original post.
  20. The uses the particular ATs and team roles can be done as well as information on the particular zones as can be read here. There is more to a guide than putting down strategies, there is offering up advise. The new hami, everyone will have their own method of tackling the beast, since the PA army no longer works, and there is no stopping hami from spawning a new wave of mitos this time. Basically a guide is to provide information, if it was a strategy post, then it would be something else.
  21. Actually I am working on the new guide for villains. Of course I don't fill in strategies, because unlike the current hami, there is more than one key to doing it, and since the zone limit is 50, so raid leaders will have to adapt to their particular instance.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
Good post. All is going to be worthless, no doubt, once I9 goes live though.

[/ QUOTE ]Hehe, well yea it will all be worthless come i9 as the strategy compeltely changes, but Hamidon is not open to more than one tactic, and unlike it is now, can be spawned at will, and even if say a raid fails, it isn't a total loss and can be picked back up the next day, provided there isn't a server reset, or in a few hours if ppl just want a break.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
If the net result of the changes (adding resistance to -Regen and reducing resistance to damage resistance debuffs) is a wash, and considering the small amount of buff that damage resistance debuffers will be getting, the actual amount of -regen resistance the devs are giving AVs must be very small. Does anyone have these numbers?

And am I correct in my assumption that the global debuff resistance of AVs does not resist against -regen debuffs? But rather -Regen debuffs are treated as a seperate resistance?

[/ QUOTE ]You are incorrect. The global reduction to AV/GM resistances and the now ability of specific ATs basically being resisted now means that those ATs won't feel much of a difference, while ATs that were previously resisted, such as /dark and /kins will actually feel they were buffed as their -regen aspects of their pwoers will be more effective.
  24. Thanks _BAS_, I love it. Added it to my herocorp profile, as can be seen
