You're so very welcome Ransim and my thanks to Soobooku and Lord Goat, it's a fine collab and I'm very happy to have contributed.
With some practice you will definitely get better. Cuz I like say soz n' stuff.
I'm hoping these collabs will encourage more people to participate and actually learn by doing (and maybe volunteer their linework pieces they drew or got as gifts for coloring) you really don't lose anything and stand to gain a lot.
Plus as more people get proficient at coloring it would be great to be able to drop some pencils in here and see it colored up a variety of different cool ways.

I am so so so immensely happy I checked here tonight before going to bed. We just got in a couple hours ago after driving home from Boston (yay PAX). I'm going to look over everything you guys have done, I'm making some attempts to learn coloring/shading and I'm picking up a Wacom tablet probably this weekend. So hopefully with some practice I can get better.

Figured I would try and tweak this a bit over lunch.
Anyone who wants to tweak it further or add some kind of background feel free to do so.
Also the hair being in front of the shoulder was giving a mis-aligned
look that was bugging me so I redid both shoulders, I think it's an improvement.

Still open for collabing;
First off I went back to the line work, as it was soild and very nice. You don't want to take away from what has been done already, you want to add to it.
So line art by CR
Then I pulled the lines off the background and did all my work under them as to let them shin tho as much as pos.
I then added the flats, basic shading and highlights.
I hope this helps or at least adds a new look for the art.
