  1. Thanks for forming the Keyes team, Paladin!

Pity Avatea crashed and then the server going down took the rest of us out. Thanks for sticking it out with us to the end, Freitag!

Nice! Thank you for the link, Zombie Man. It was fun to hear the excitement directly from the horse's mouth to go along with the presentation.
  3. Okay, that was cool. I liked that I could explore the area, or just click the Next button to see the highlights in order.

There is definitely going to be plenty to do. I've never had so many new character ideas before. Usually it takes a couple months of seeing how other players use the sets before I want to try. On the other side of the leveling spectrum, I'm really looking forward to The Underground incarnate trial!

Also, it was cute that there was a mug of coffee near Zwillinger to represent the weekly Community Coffee chats. That and the other little in-the-know extras scattered around took it from marketing to personable. Kudos to the presentation designer!

PS Here's another vote for an option to turn off icons above the contact's head.

    Yeah, I'm an odd one.

Looking forward to telling everyone how fantastic it is to spend time with Zwillinger, even if we all know that already.
  5. When you said Friday that you were going to do a new video for the weekend, I knew you could do it. I just didn't suspect you were going to do something so fancy. Wow, well done! *applause*

Thank you for helping make this community be the best reason to stay in the City, OCRs and DEVs!
  7. It. Was. AWESOME!

Don't let Dr. T fool you, though. He was leading us the whole way on team 1 and only passed the star after we had successfully earned all five badges.

    *applause for Dr. Turgenev*
  8. Just did a perfect MoKeyes run on Freedom. Officially can boast I've run a trial with the best of the best. Thank you for leading us on the run for the shiny badge, Dr. Turgenev!

    ((Click picture and see!))

For the record, Lil Ms. Morna had not done Keyes at all on that alt. We started with the cut scene and she confirmed the perfect run when she got all five badges.

Yes, I will be boasting about how awesome this team was for the rest of the year, at least!
  9. For me, exploring Alpha Upsilon 24-2 for Tina Macintyre was the most emotionally engaging mission so far. I was especially shocked by the clue and NPC chatter. I remember vividly thinking, "No way! I would NEVER become that!" (Although after I got over the horror of the possibility it did lead to an interesting development for an alt on the RP forums.) It really drove home what blindly following mission objectives or my character's own pursuit of shiny things would lead even the best of heroes to.

On the other side of the scale, I ran the story arc for Vincent Ross at least a half-dozen times in Ouroboros. I told myself it was to explore all the dialog trees of the optional contacts. But really it was because I liked the "I Win!" easiness of fighting off the waves of enemies; especially the smirk the last mission gave me.
  10. Very nice, Leandro!

Thank you for sharing all the stats as well as the graphs. Getting to see the information in both forms really helps with the comparison data.

Also, it helps me realize that my incarnate trail experiences are about par for length and rewards, not sub par as I had begun to suspect. What a relief!

    I Knew It!

Thanks for the heads-up about this movie, Antares_NA.

It was fun to watch while doing BAF runs. See you again in a few hours, Zwillinger!
  12. Very amusing! Thank you for sharing, Steelclaw!

Congratulations on a successful Issue 3!
  14. Hahaha, those are great, LaserAddict! Thank you for remembering to post them here. ;->
  15. Oh, what wonderful news! Congratulations to EMpulse and the coming baby girl! May their lives be rich with happiness.

Thank you so much, Zwillinger, for passing on the happy news. I'm always glad for tears of joy.
  16. Maybe you got lucky and clicked it the exact two seconds I edited my post with a link to clearer Normal image and removed the old one.
  17. Odd. I just checked again and it loaded fine on my computer.

  18. Hah! I like it, Ascendant. Cleverly done. ;->

Over in "Normal View" land, here is a sample of when my windows are the most crowded. It usually happens while simultaneously trading at the market (thus the recipes, salvage, enhancements, and inspirations windows), checking what badge to earn next, perusing someone's background, and browsing various chat channels.

Most of the time my UI is much simpler.

  19. Ding!

Congratulations on earning your Justice Incarnate birthday, Positron!

Look forward to seeing what you do with your new costume slot...
  20. Very dramatic, Ironik! I can't decide if it is a cosmic death explosion or creation's beginning. The only downside for me is that it would keep my eye too busy to want to open any programs on top of it.

Sumpfkraut, your mountainscape made me sigh in awe. Wow. Do you remember where you got that image?

Like Demobot, I tend to decorate my desktop with NASA APoD pictures. My favorite one so far this year was February 2, though I also liked the one on April 21 enough that it is my current image.

Not much of the desktop itself to see besides the Recycle Bin icon because I'm in the Start Menu / Pinned Programs camp.
  21. Bravo! Both to the hugely talented composer, and the lovely subject. The City is richer for ladies like you!

    Oh, this, this, this, please!

I haven't laughed so hard at an emote idea in years. The potential for Pocket D parties (and what a certain movie editor could come up with) is delightful.

If not in an 80s pack, maybe it could be part of Party Pack 2...
