Now latest news is... we are informed that we get a free reactivation weekend. So for globals its less hassle now. We can login on our old Trials and remove the global and all toons that have names that should/could be reused. The future planned account transfer of the European accounts for City of Heroes to the North American side will rename my EU account with the 'EU' prefix. And will give me problems with my global account (which I have made the same on my Trial account as on my full account).
If I want to prevent this... but the game account cannot be removed... I would like my unused Trial Game account be renamed to NA_accountname...
I would also like temporarly access to the account to rename the global. This all to make sure that everything I have at the moment will remain the same after the transfer.

For those who have an inactive NA Trial account with same name (and global)...
I send an official incident/mail to NCSOFT Support to have the trial removed/deleted. Including my wishes... why... and the copy of the exact details of the account.
Even if we are unable to remove the old Trial... NCSOFT dbase administration can remove it! And an official incident will be followed up. Checked now and indeed it has been send to the North-American Support Team.
Do this in time! Maybe they can/will remove the old/unwanted game account and that will prevent a lot of hassle later on.

the extend of 'Rex' also is a good one... When the start of your global name stays the same the problems will be less. There are global changes often when I keep track of my global list.
Spaces are accepted in globals too. The biggest problem would be informing all who are around of your new name. -

I would say.. try a few other servers first...
Maybe even the EU community. That is possile soon.
Not all communities are the same. And if one has too many hassles it seems the time is ripe for a server switch! -

Yes.. our community is smaller. But as stated already it has more structure. We are trying as hard as we can do actually make it a universe with the appropriate crossovers where we can.
Get yourself enlisted in the 'Union Roleplayers' Channel... -

Also... your not really a level higher.. The conn system sets you a level higher.
This means that all calculations will use you as a +1.... but the damage output you have and defence, and flightspeed, and regen etc. Will not be effected.
You will however do longer mezz... hit more often.. etc. -

It is a global name for crying out loud! Nothing else.
I have several options to change mine in... and if mine will be used and I really wanted to keep it. Wanted it strong enough to quit the game over. Which in my point of view is ridiculous. I would send a tell explaining just that to the NA user. And maybe he will change his.
Technically porting the EU to the NA account server is less hassle. It is the logical thing todo. It is not done to shaft the EU in any way.
The only thing I care about is the Trial accounts who shouldn't be in this comparison at all. Minimizing the chance.
ps. Will you never use a cellphone again if you lost your old phone number? -
Arrghh.. The interface for accounts and game accounts on the NCSOFT site doesnt let me do anything!
I want to simply delete my only 1 day used (years ago) US trial... but I cannot!
I can only change my NCSOFT account name.. I cannot touch name or details of any of the game accounts!
Please find a solution to that!!!! It is a complete waste of space keeping all these never used trial accounts available... -

Actually SG/VG are a global thing. if you go to the SG/VG Registery Guy, you can look at all the top 100 SG/VG on CoX! So the SG/VG from NA and EU would be affected.
SG names are server based. I made my SG with the same name on two different servers. And the other server SG's are not listing in the top 10 list at all. -
A huge part of this prolem would be addressed if we could be assured that Trial accounts would never win over EU accounts. Many seem to have tried the US at some point through Trials... Me included.
If I had the option I would simply delete my US Trial account completely... There is no option for that though.
Do something constructive with the Trial accounts! -

Heroes can be caught offguard, or maybe not have time to get into their costume. We have Pocket D and Studio 55 for roleplaying, there are characters that aren't spandex clad heroes, that street clothing would suit, it would suit villains to for similar reasons.
Also, if street clothes 'aren't very heroic', then what the hell, Party Pack? How heroic is dancing like Michael Jackson, or bouncing a basketball? -

I petitioned it and got help... The mob had spawned 6ft under the floor and wes 'freed' up by the GM.
I told him to look into it as this was the second time I got it (we resetted the mission). He said it s being looked after. -
I saw an error (technical) on one of the pages!
Page 23, Panel 6 has the text as a copy that GG says in Panel 7. I guess there is a copy error here. Hope it is a seperate layer so you can remove it.
Cant wait to see the cover!
