is there a badge for that?
how many times do I have to smake or be smaked? Can you Ouro the Smake?
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, to smake or not to smake, that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to endure the slings and arrows of outrageous smaking
Or to take arms against a sea of smakers.
And by opposing them? To die... perchance to smake.

Fixed your phail

Oh, smake you, Jebus, you smug mothersmaker! -

I do have a brute named Inspector javert. Close enough? Also based on the story I'm more inclined to say if 24601 isn't a tank he ought to be a defender. Perhaps Thernadier could be the stalker. Don't ask me about Marius because AFAIk there isn't an AT comparable to whiny love striken yutz who has to rely on his future father in law to save his [censored].
[/ QUOTE ]
I figured a Stalker would be good because he was caught stealing bread... -
[ QUOTE ]
Count me in, I'll bring my tank jean Valjean 47 WP/stone.
[/ QUOTE ]
You should make a stalker and call him 'Prisoner 24601' -
I made one... and then decided it was far too much work.

I went with Fire Mastery on my Fire/Rad, the shield and fireball is awesome. Plus consume is great since this set is extremely costly even with perma AM/Haste.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh, hells yes. I'm smacking consume every time it's up, I almost have to.
I tend to subscribe to this theory that if your Fire/Rad still has some blue in his endurance bar then he's not doing his job. -
So, can we decide on a story here? Was he 72? 73? Suicide? Natural causes?
At this point I'm starting to wonder if the man even existed in the first place... -
I use Twitter, but only for certain newsfeeds. I've got Gamepolitics and Tycho from Penny Arcade, but that's it, and those guys tend to only "tweet" relevant stuff that I'm interested in. It's a good way to keep up with gaming news without having to be chained to a computer, hammering the f5 button.

Interesting, given how hard you try to get at everyone's parts.

Thanks. And I'll have that email address for as long as I renew the domain name and server.

It wasn't quite the same place without you.

But it won't be the same WITH her now!
Aw, man! Now we have to behave.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yah, totally! I mean, why do you think they call it Missbehaving?!
Screw that, I'm totally not missbehaving!
... no, wait, that's not right -
I went with fire mastery for the shield and the fireball. I find the fireball really helps with mobs locked down with containment, although each ancillary has an AoE I think, so it's up to you.
I like the armours, though it's an investment because you kinda have to put a few slots in them to make it worthwhile. But that 15-20% of damage mitigation really does make a difference, if you have the endurance to run the extra toggle. -
I'm not sure, but it may have been worked into the agreement, that even though NCSoft owns the rights to the game part of the deal is that they must have Cryptic's logo up or something.
Or maybe Cryptic still owns a kind of "patent" or something on some of the systems, like the costume creator. -

That's what Air Superiority is for.
/sigh

For what, knockdown?
Air Superiority is a cool power and comes in handy from time to time, but it's hardly a boss-killer. -

Can we fix this now, please?
I think it's been long enough now that we've had to put up with such a stupid, immersion-breaking, game-slowing bug, I think it's time to fix it.
Please.
Thanks. -

I had not used it often because with the team I am rolling through the missions with, it just has not been needed. I usually switch between sniping and draining the endurance of the enemies the the Tanks have under their control or the stragglers that have not been collected yet. But it was definitely worth having it there as an option and really made a bad situation survivable and that is all that matters at the end of the day.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yup, it's a good "Oh, damn!" power, but there are others to pick from when you get up to a certain leve. Bonfire, for isntance, in the /flame mastery pool is great for keeping baddies on their backs to buy you some time. My fire/rad controller has it as well, and I've used it to great success while holding back two full spawns while my team finished off the already engaged group.
That being said, your playstyle is your own. If you enjoy using your nuke, then awesome, go for it. -
I don't use Nukes, they're a waste for me, and with my playstyle the regular use of Inferno actually brings my dps down over the course of a mission.
They're pretty and showy, but ultimately I feel they're not worth it. -

I'm surprised that nobody's pointed out the over 100 badge disparity between the sides. If this suggestion were implemented, heroes could get as many as 10 or more more End than villains ever could.
[/ QUOTE ]
You say that like it's a bad thing...
Alright, alright I suppose I'll have to agree that's a bad thing.
Anyway in all seriousness you're absolutely right. Until the two sides have an equal number of potential badges any suggestion for "get X based on how many badges you have" is automatically unfair and unjustified on that basis alone.
[/ QUOTE ]
You could base it on a percentage of total badges, I guess... if one were so inclined.
That being said I'm not sure this is a great idea. I'd be okay with +1 endurance for every 10% of total badges available collected, that way the max anyone could get is +10, and villains wouldn't get screwed because even though they have fewer badges than heroes, they still have "100%" of their own badges to get.
Just spitballin'...
[/ QUOTE ]
While I admit your version of this is much more reasonable than the OP's I'm still not sure it's a good idea either. And I'm saying that even as a person who would have TWO characters who would get +9 END under your scheme.
Basically anyone who's played long enough to get 80-90% of the badges in the game probably knows how to manage the tactical situation in PvE to make having a few more points of END, well, pointless.
PvPers in this game already have an uneasy relationship with badges and badgers in this game. Could you imagine the whining that would start when the PvPers would claim, "This sucks because we don't want to have to get any more badges than we absolutely have to". Forcing PvPers to become hardcore badgers would probably make most of them scream bloody murder.
Bottomline I think no matter how it's spun this idea is far more trouble than it's worth. *shrugs*

Min level for both Cimerora and the ITF is 35.

Alright, Balance Bringer it is, 39 (though maybe higher by then) Kin/NRG defender. -
I'll be there...
What's the level limit, by the way, for getting in there, is it 30?
I've got a level 39 Kin/NRG 'fender that I love playing, as well as a 31 brute that I wouldn't mind leveling. -
