Quote:Ugh, yeah, I hated that too. And speaking of "RPG World", that reminded me of another comic I used to read, which I also highly recomend: Mark Shallow's "Adventurers!". "Adventurers!" was (And I use was because he finished it) a comic that poked fun at console RPG conventions (Much like "RPG World"). I'd recomend that anyone who reads it starts here.Or pull a stunt like RPG World did, with the author just deciding he didn't want to do it anymore right when the story was hitting it's climax.
An example of the comic (And yes, the art does get better):
Mark also does another Webcomic, "Anti-Hero for Hire", which he is still producing.

Bob and George is a Sprite Comic based on the Megaman universe, and is not only funny (Complete with plenty of running gags), but has a fun, rather deep plot, and some pretty creative takes on the various MM boss battles.

Quote:Even better, read Bob and George, the webcomic that practically kicked off the Sprite Comic craze along with 8-Bit Theater.Captain SNES is one of my favorites. If you grew up with Captain N like I did, it's something very excellent.

Least I Could is also a great comic. If you haven't (Though you probably have if you've read Order of the Stick), make sure you read Erfworld.

Dominic Deegan and Dr. McNinja are both high on my list, along with Questionable Content.

If you've got a 360, Chris, theres some new Scott Pilgrim themed Avatar Gear, including a Ramona Flowers costume and Scott Pilgrim costume.

You shut your mouth. YOU SHUT YOUR FILTHY HERETIC MOUTH. Captain N was a bastion of cheesy awesomeness, a cartoon so terrible that it was so completly epic (Much like Street Fighter: The Movie).

Which brings up the question: Do Pen and Paper RPG's count as "Games" as far as the "No game talk" goes? Does it only count if it's based off an actual PC/Console game? And, based on another thread, if we don't mention the name of the game itself, is it perfectly acceptable to talk about it?
-
Quote:So... we CAN discuss Video Games, as long as we're not discussing SPECIFIC video games?Discussion of theory is acceptable but very difficult. Please try and be careful, we'd rather not have to lock/remove this thread. That being said I think that the term MMO is an artificial distinction. It may be useful for communicating the broad scope of a game, but what does it really mean?
And given that Massively is contained within the definition of MMO, can you really have a Multiplayer online game that is massive and micro at the same time? -
So... if the trailer is done up like a game, complete with achievements, then does that mean discussing the trailer violates the new forum policy? In fact, since the movie and comics are also heavy with game related references (1-ups, Crash at Demonhead, the Sex Bob-Ombs), then doesent that mean that any mention of Scott Pilgrim would violate the new rules?

Quote:That's the thing... I don't know when they DID go up, because as far as I can tell, no announcement was ever made about new Merchandise in the store. So, what I'm asking is, is this stuff new? Did they announce it and I'm just blind? Did I go temporarily insane(er)? Am I secretly on Bizarro earth? Did a Wizard do it?I could be wrong, but haven't these been on the for ages? I know I bought the skecthbook months ago on there and also recently as a radio comp prize, I'm sure the t-shirts were there as well as the poster!
not that it's not cool, mind
I MUST KNOW! -
...That there are now CoH/V T-Shirts, Posters, and Sketchbooks in the NCSoft store? When the hell did that happen?
*EDIT*
And apparently Italian and European copies of the City of Villains CE, too. -
Superintendent Chalmers: "Yes, I should be Good lord, what is happening in there?"
Skinner: "Aurora Borealis?"
Superintendent Chalmers: "Aurora Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within your kitchen?"
Skinner: "Yes."
Superintendent Chalmers: "May I see it?"
Skinner: "No" -
Have you thought about checking Free Credit Report.com to make sure that some Villain isn't comitting identity theft? Because that'd rack up the debt pretty quick.
-
Actually, the Cat is a girl, which makes it a Catgirl. Many Catgirls are also superheroes and villains in CoH/V. Therefore, the Cat is relevant.

So, I went ahead and ordered the Roswell. Thankfully, it should be here by Tuesday or Wednesday (Free 3 day shipping? Awesome). THanks for the advice, guys.

And it's correct that it also handles Wi-Fi as well, yes? Also, since I'm going to be hooking a 360 and my gaming computer to it, as well as my roomates PC, I assume you haven't noticed any real slowdown on multiple connections working at once?
