Quote:This was such a good point that I went out and found the first newbie I could, and gave them the best damn player experience they could ask for.well, lets not celebrate too much, i'm thrilled to see the current boom, now lets do everything in our power to KEEP THEM. Find a noobie and help them, see a new person on the boards, be nice to them. this is a chance, how it is handled determines the future.
On a completly unrelated note, does anyone have any Scope? -
People call what Liefeld does "Art", and yet these are far better then anything Liefeld could do. Therefore, they are art.

Quote:Except at no point did they specifically say Carnie costumes. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be "that guy", and argue just for the sake of arguing. But I've been on here long enough to know that the moment someone assumes something about a dev statement, it suddendly becomes "Oh my god, did you hear Castle said he was personally converting Carnie costume pieces and giving us all free 100 dollar bills and sensual massages?!" at which point everyone promptly becomes upset that the devs are "filthy, baby eating, puppy kicking, car keying liars" because something they assumed from a broad statement didn't happen. They said they intended to do as many as possible, and Carnie Ringmistresses don't look too hard; I don't see anything that's likely to cause clipping or extra "cape systems". It's the Illusionists with their full length dresses that I doubt will get ported.

Quote:Assuming that Carnies are one of the groups they plan on trying to convert.Beside the contests, you can also be a little patient. According to Noble Nakayama, we will be able to use most of the enemie group costumes. So you will be able to use the Carnies costume, or the parts you like the most. Dunno when this will go live. Maybe they will give more details at PAX Prime in September.

I hear you can get one by going to the title screen and punching in Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, and Login.

Cracked Link. But, no dirty words, so perfectly acceptable.

I can only hope that I could win.

Hey, remember when Manticore slaughtered a villain in cold blood, and all he got was a slap on the wrist?
Great example for the kids there, Freedom Phalanx. Attempt to break into a tree, and get your brains beat out. Call yourself a Hero and kill people? A-OK! -

Of course, the true genius is that Nemesis KNOWS you know it's a Nemesis Plot, so it's not really a Nemesis Plot.
But then Nemesis knows that you know it's not a Nemesis plot, so it really IS a Nemesis Plot.
Or at least that's what he WANTS you to think, since Nemesis KNOWS you know that he knows that you know that it's a Nemesis Plot, so it actually ISN'T a Nemesis Plot.
Aha! But then Nemesis KNOWS you know that he knows that you know that he knows that you know that it's not really a Nemesis plot, so in fact it really IS a Nemesis plot!
But that would just make you a sucker, Since Nemesis KNOWS that you know that HE knows that you know that he knows that you know that he knows that you know that it's really a Nemesis plot, thus he made sure it WASN'T a Nemesis plot.
Ah, the plots and non-plots of Nemesis are tangled and complex indeed... -
I, for one, Call my Lesbian Hellions every Mother-Fathers day.

Unless Nemesis only WANTS you to think he has plans in Praetoria, as part of his Plot.

So, according to Wikipedia, the Voice Director for Mystery Inc said that the crossover was in the works. I so hope it's true.

Quote:I don't know, but if it's true, I'd *TOTALLY* watch it.Wasn't it posted somewhere that there is a possible crossover with Batman:BATB in the works
Also, in the very first episode, theres a character that looks like Don Knotts, which made me smile. Fun fact #2: While Casey Kasem does not, unfortunately, voice Shaggy, he DOES voice Shaggy's dad. -
Actually, he IS bright, as evidence by his ability to build complex working traps on a moments notice. When I say Dense, I mean more about his complete inability to tell that Daphne has the hots for him.

Here we go. Episode 1, as well as a few others, are up on YouTube.

Dunno, but if I find 'em, I'll let you know. But yeah, theres actual continuity, and theres even an overarching plotline that's slowly being revealed throughout the episodes (Concerning the disparence of a past group of mystery solving teams, and the role of someone who only calls himself "Mister E")

I'll be honest, the last Scooby Doo series I actually liked was a Pup Named Scooby-Doo. Most of the recent stuff has *SUCKED*, big time. But the new series has actually been pretty enjoyable. In fact, they even reference an old SD episode where they discover the mask of the Creeper (The villain of the episode "Jeepers it's the Creeper!"). Not only do they mention that it was the Bank Manager (Who was the villain of the episode), but even flashback to the capture moment (Everyone in bales of hay), only done in the new Art Style.
-
So, has anyone else been enjoying the new Scooby-Doo series? Not only does it have what is quite possibly the best incarnation of Fred (Dense, and an obsession with Traps that hasn't been seen since Freddie's obsession with Red Herring), but I've also been really digging the references they've snuck in (Such as a teenage Pebbles and Bam-Bam seen in a beach based episode, Daphne humming the classic Scooby-Doo theme, and Shaggy and Scooby watching a Vincent Van Ghoul marathon). And I also like the new art style.
What about you guys? -
