I was thinking about starting (or joining) a SG that consisted of "villain" AT's that have become heros or went from Villain, all the way to hero, then to vigilante. All Praetorian villian AT's would be welcome too.

Anybody interested? Could be fun.

And it would need a cool name. Nothing obvious like "Redeemed" or anything. But something a bit more out there. Any suggestions?

Ok, I realize the game has a "T" rating so the beer ones might not be acceptable, but the others would work.

Then add a "give good gift" and "give bad gift" temp power. In the good gift you would recieve a short duration buff like the read fortune thing, the bad gift would be a vacum costume piece or a really ugly tie that appears on your caracter.

Then an "party invite" power, where you could send a character to pocket d. I know most people have the Pocket D teleporter, but some don't.

Or, you could have a "Instant Dance Party" power where all the thugs from the MM power "Gang War" , appear around you and start doing the different dance emotes. Of course they wouldn't fight and you would be able to pass through them like regular summoned MM pets.

A "Summon Clown" power, or "Summon Evil Clown" redside. Blue side he would make baloon animals, redside, he would point at other villains and laugh.

Obviously some "Clown Themed" costume pieces. I would never use them, but I know people have been wanting those for years. More than just the "Jester" pieces.

Oh well. I guess the Dev's don't go to many parties. They really could have made this one fun. Add me to the "Pass on this one" list.

Call me sappy but I liked how Forrest Gump ended. And if we are doing TV series finales, then the Scrubs finale was awesome. Great music and very well done.

Anything but SR!! I mean it. Unless you are a VERY seasoned player who likes BIG challenges. I'm keeping mine around, but only when I feel like busting hump. And He's 21 and a CHORE to play.

I decided not to say anything about the Fury changes (admit it, you were waiting with baited breath. hee hee hee) till I was able to really give them a good testing. And I really have to say I agree with all the Non-Doom folks out there now. I admit I was worried. But not now. I was on a full team in Pratoria last night. With, among others, 2 other Brutes, a Scrapper, AND a Tank. I had NO problem generating 60-70 Fury, and maintained it very well. Even with all those folks begging for aggro, I had no problem getting it up (WOW, you could really take THAT out of context), and keeping it up. The Tank was SS if I remember correctly. And he was all about stealing aggro. But I had no difficulties at all. And kept it around 30-40 between MOB's. All in all, no worries here.

Well, I got hit with a bit if insperation (the mental kind not the green pill) and made a Claws/WP. LOVE HIM!! I might keep the C/SR around and try him out later. I love the idea of him, but I kinda agree with those above about the journey being that much of a pain. Not really for me. But this C/WP is a SHREDDER!! Really loving him. And I got the name I wanted on the first try. Very happy about that too. So all is well again in Bruteland. But thanks everybody for the suggestions. I might try him later when I wanna be challenged more.

HELP!! My "Brute" keeps going down like a freaking blaster. What is the deal. I made a Claws/SR because I really wanted a Brute with the Rularu Talon. Ok, I have him now and he is soooooo weak! I don't feel "Brutish" at all. My damage is way less than my Hammer/WP Brute. He dies WAY more than him as well. What am I doing wrong with this guy? He just hit 21 and I dropped all his slots into Stamina.

I just picked up Stamina, so I was going to get the Ranged Toggle at 22. I just couldn't afford it before. I fear I should have gone WP as his secondary. But I have a Kat/SR Scrapper who is DEADLY!! So I thought it might be good for a brute too. It appears I was wrong. If I have just built him wrong. lemme know. I have several Vetspecs I can use to respec him. Thanks for any suggestions.

Claws/Elec or Claws/SR? I have a Katana/SR scrapper, and she is pretty freakin deadly. But it seems like people on here are always talking about /Elec as "THE" set for Brutes. I like a fast play style, getting in there and slicing stuff in serious "brutish" fashion, and not really having to fret about end. use too much, or finesse plays. What would you all recommend?

I noticed there are no Claws Brute guides. Is that cuz claws for brutes bites as a set. I notice SS is the big love set for brutes, but really, is claws any good? I have a theme idea, but if the set for brutes bites I'll try something else.

The back up tools in EM are really nice for the Archer. And that you get them early on is nice as well. That's why it is my pick. My only DEV experience is on an AR/DEV. She is fun, but not the monster my Arch/EM is.

I think peoples ideas of the Corruptor "Rise" and Blaster "Exodus" when GR hits are going to die quickly. As Circuit Boy has so excellently shown, NO Corr. can compete with Blaster damage. Period.

To the OP, I know you said you were digging Energy, but if I might make a suggestion, try a Archery/NRG Blaster. You just might never give Corr's another thought. Their single target damage is just unmatched. And their nuke, Rain of Arrows (with BU and Aim) is unbelievable, not stamina draining, and up almost every other mob with the right slotting.

Type "Archery" in the forums and see for yourself.

Oh and real quick, anybody who tells you one shotting an opponent is overblown, can't one shot an opponent.

I just tossed this bad boy in and WOW!! If this is the "low end" of the graphics, then the top end must be insane. I have had to keep a LOT of things turned off to play the game for years, courtesy of a much slower older GPU. But I picked up this monter at BestBuy (they were on sale too!) and I have to say how much more I am loving this game!! I get to have shadows turned up, reflections, water effects, the whole bit! And I am loving it. If you are planning on getting a new card sometime soon and don't want to drop a ton of cash I highly recomend it.

With a bit of an unorthodox, but seriously funny, approach.... Pixel Wins.

I am finally getting somewhere with my brute, and really feeling like he is coming into his own. However, I just have a few quick questions, if folks have a sec.

1. I know my fury goes up when I attack, but does it also go up because I got hit or take damage (or both)? I ask because it seems like I don't really need to take a lot of damage for it to go up which indicates to me that things like regen, and damage resist would be better than shields, defense buff, etc, because I wanna get hit. Well, to some degree.

2. Is it wise with my Mace/WP Brute to take both Quick Recovery AND Stamina? Or is it cutting into a cap if you have both, thus making it overkill? I have Quick Recovery now and took it first cuz I was KILLING myself on my end. use, and its buff was higher, but he seems to be doing great now with both.

And bonus question, does my fury go down during cut scenes, or are you "frozen" during those times?

Well, ok, it's not just me again. Bad lag issues on Infinity. Playing in CA. More in mish's than out however, which I thought was weird. Thought it might be an animation thing. Will post a net graph asap.

I know we can change the font on the game, but in doing so, would it make the enhancement screen numbers larger? Having trouble reading the small numbers there.

LOL! Decorum, thank you for having your age in you bio!!! Whenever I talk to people on here, and there is no age (and they are not female) I automaticly treat them, in my head, like 14 year old boys. Just because of the odds. AOk then, instead of a Phone Booth per se, how about a British Police one (note I did not say TARDIS). That would be cool too.

I know this one has been asked for, but would a "Phone Booth" costume change emote violate some sort of copyright thing? Cuz that one, and a "Beam up/Beam Down" one would be really coolin! Oh and a "Dive in the Ground (like the red caps)" one would be coolin too.
