I have had my Blaster for quite some time, but now that she has unlocked her Incarnate stuff i really wanna get her as "uber" as possible. So I have a few questions. To whit...
1. I know there is a Defense and Resist Dam. cap for blasters. Do the incarnate abilities that "ignore" diminishing returns in some way raise that cap? Or, is that cap final and absolute? i.e. if I hit the cap with powers and regular IO sets, is it silly to make the Incarnates stuff anyway?
2. I read the Defense Guide for blasters in the guide section, but am still confused as to how to hit that cap. What is the quickest way (without purples) for a blaster to hit the Def and/or Resist Dam cap? I am sure there are several "ways" but what are a few?
3. Related to #2, Getting mezzed is a common thing for Blasters (as anybody who has leveled one can tell you) but what is the best way to avoid the attacks alltogether? I see several ways, through IO sets, to shorten the mezz (sleep, fear, etc) duration, but how can I max my defense to not get hit with them in the first place?
Thanks in advance for all your suggstions. I have never been a min/maxer "numbers" kinda person, but with the Incarnates out now I find I really wanna get the most I can out of the character. And since she has more than a few respecs, I can redo her anytime.
And if it helps or is needed, she is a Arch/EM with the Concealment (stealth and invis), Fly (Air Sup., Fly), Leadership (Man. and Tact.), Speed (hasten), and Force Mastery (Repuls. Field, Temp. Invul., FoN) pools.
Thanks again. -
At least the dude in the pic isn't 200 pounds overweight and with his belly sticking out of an ill fitting leotard!

Those were both freaking awesome!!!!! So funny!

I always saw Enriche as a power aide/Gatorade kinda drink. I guess they need to make a Milkenriche as well.

Oh Kheldarn, bite your tongue!! I don't know if I can keep my altitis in check for that much longer!!!
-
So am I the only one holding my altitis in check till I-19 drops? I'm sure I'm not. Also, all you professional prognosticators, feel free to drop your "I 19 release date" guesses. Im gonna say right after the Holloween stuff. Around early Nov. Any others?

Well, I turn 44 this year. While I know I am not the oldest on these forums, I am FAR from the youngest. The only walkman I had (like many folks) was a cheaper knock off. But these are my memories...
Holding a radio up to the recorder so I could record mix tapes,
Making little marks on the tapes themselves next to the window so I could find songs,
Wondering if that "Metal" tape would play in my recorder,
Getting the head "demagnetized" from a friend who had a SWEET reeel to reel set up,
Wishing I had the money for a reel to reel set up,
Finaly learning what Dolby was (and laughing at Jeanine in Spinal Tap),
Learning that Bass was not pronounced like the fish.
But then again when I was a kid NOBODY listened to FM radio. All the good stations were AM. Who needed stereo? -
Other than Happy Days, I will always remember him as the voice of a gnome in a cartoon my daughter loved.
-
And I couldn't find MySpace at all. Not that I use it, but I know some folks do.
NM found it. -
It would appear comic book geeks are a very fickle group. Clearly being unable to please everybody (especially comic book geeks) writers and producers go for mass market appeal instead of the niche group.
It actually seems a virtualy impossible task to bring a comic book hero to life. When folks read the comic they assign to him/her a voice and style that the READER has selected in their brain. And when the writers/directors don't (magicly I guess) exactly match that voice then the film gets trashed by the niche group.
Oh well, I'm gonna go watch Ghost Rider now. I do like that movie. (but then again, I never read the comic book)
And is Spidey gonna be the new James Bond? A different actor playing him every few pics? -
RIP Tony. While you never made a good looking woman, you made me laugh!

Ditto! I was actually surprised, and until I read this, thought I might have gotten one that somehow slipped past the person (who could be going to hell for it) who puts the security tape on!
-
Kind of a double edged sword for them though. The privacy might have added to the break-up. So long as Leonard and Penny get back together at some point though, idc.

Dave wins ta intarwebs!!! I mean he was joking.... right?? Right??

The correct reply was.... "I got better." -

And before anybody says "not appropriate for these boards" I will point out that this is in the "Comic and Hero/Villain Culture". And he was one of my favorite comics!! -
I loved it. It SCREAMED Tony Stark. Or at least RDjr's version of him. I'm glad I got to see it even if it wan't in the theatrical release.

I went back 5 pages and didn't see one. So.... GO KANSAS CITY!!! 3 AND OHHHHHH.
Wait, is this a violation of the new "no non CoX stuff" law?
I don't care.... GO KC!!!!!! -
Ok, my last mouse (Reaper Edge 3200 DPI gamer mouse) just up and died on me and this sad little Micrsoft came-with-the-computer mouse is driving me to drink!!!
So I was wondering what do you folks use/recomend? I really liked the extra buttons (HAVE to have them when I play my MM's) and it has to be optical. But I never got into cordless cuz of the battery issues.
Any suggestions?
