Ditto what Derek said and you might try lowering the ears a little, the bottom of my ear lies between my nose and my mouth, I think that would help. I don't think you're a bad artist though, I love your avatar and your tarot card is great!

I actually did them a bit differently this time. I added shading to the top of the eyes.. Does it look better that way?


Oh, and I used a gradient instead of coloring over different colors and blurring it! I think I'll do this from now on.. maybe. I think it might look better like this.

I think it does look better. This really gives the eyes some depth! Can't wait to see your next one!
