I can sympathise with ya buddy, one o my mates complains how long it takes me to make a new character, never mind my extra costume slots.

Heavy Ordinance was half a mile from the worst effected area when a call came through to his coms unit.

"James, its Control. The situation in Steel Canyon has stabilised, we need to to head for Atlas." He hit the air brakes and his wings beat twice as he banked to the right.

"Roger that Control, On Route to Atlas."

"They tend to build it in an area with a large amount of energy available, must take loads to get him going." he jumps onto a wall and looks around him. "Over there, there are a lot of clockwork gathering over there....oh, guys.... that isn't Paladin, its too big..."

Over the street a Freakshow Tank smashed his way into a shop, his grunts followed close behind.

The zone was quickly falling to the chaos, it wouldn't be long before the zone was lost.

James had been in his Bunker in Founders Falls when the first calls were received by the PPD and Longbow.

At 9:05 James' secure line rang. Groggy he sat up, it had been a rough night fighting Crey. He picked up the ear piece and popped it in. "James Robinson." He waited for the response.

"Morning James, just over an hour ago, we began receiving calls from the public, we have incidents in both Kings Row and Steel Canyon, both have an unknown gas spreading in the area. All we know is that Steel's gas is affecting the population on a mental level, they loose all self control and attack anyone or anything nearby. As for Kings, we have reports that it kills, fast, other than that nothing."

"Understood, I'll head on over to Steel, its a central part of the city."

"Agreed, reports have began filtering in from Talos, IP and Atlas. We need to find out who, or what is causing it, and stop it."

"Thanks Bill, talk to you when I know more." he hung up the phone and turned to his locker. He tapped in his code and stepped back as the door slid open. He stepped into his suit and as teh helmet slid on he smiled. "Morning James"

"Morning Control. Lets go to work." he looked up as his wings folded out and the jets on his feet fired.

"Send a transmission on all frequencies available in Steel Canyon, Heavy Ordinance is on route." he kicked the jets up a notch and grinned as he hit the top speed.

I'm pretty handy with an empath, well any def tbh, though I can turn a hand at anything, not keen on tankers tho.

If you can think of a combo you would like to see appear, let me know I'll see if I like it

Hmmm a toughie but I'd have to go for things a little out the box

Fire Imps on the basis they behave and dont just run at stuff and wreck the joint

HK was tense the big guy didn't seem very friendly, the girl did however and it was her he addressed. "All I know is what the PPD Control could tell me, Multiple Explosions, seems every villain group in Paragon is enjoying the chance to loot or destroy anything left standing. I grew up here, he looks at his surroundings, there used to be a small park just beyond those building but judging by the green gas, I'd say it's not there now."

He took a tentative step forwards and extended a hand, "The names Healer Kid by the way and before you say it," he looks at Tomb, "I'm NOT an alien, I'm a mutant."

He pauses to launch a ball of radiation at a clockwork sprocket. "Clockwork are getting ambitious. Looks like they might be trying to build a Paladin nearby. If it gets finished, we're in trouble. Can we count on each other?" he steps forwards again, hand still extended.

Healer Kid ducked as the hail of bullets peppered the area around him, "Alien? Where?" then he realised that they were talking about him!

He span and was hit in the chest by a few bullets. He fell and reverted to his regular childlike form. He used what energy he had to heal the wounds as best he could, he sat up and called out to the figure "Who are you?"

I'd like to take part if you are ok with someone who isn't always available.

I'd be the Batman of the team, turn up help kick some [censored] then bugger off again

I could be sure I've seen this somewhere, not sure if it was in the Freedom Phalanx book or Web or Arachnos....might have been an on line source, I'll read the books again just in case

Edit: Healer Kid is supposed to be one of them as well, though I'd need to log him in to check if I've put an age in, in game he's supposed to look younger than he really is

Further Update: Just logged in and checked ID, myself and a few other Nuclear 90 characters I have seen via Wiki ect seem to regard teh nuclear 90 to be in their 20's making their birth year somewhere in the 80's

Early 20s or late 20s? Also, got any links to these other N90 characters? I've just started one myself, which is why I'm asking, it'll be interesting to see what other people have done with the concept.

Just ordered those CoH books btw, even if they don't have the info in, they're bound to be an interesting read.

When the first reports of detonations came over the PPD Radio Frequency Healer Kid had been working over in the Hollows helping some new heroes navigate the dangers in the Gulch. Hearing that Kings Row had been bombed he stopped and listened intently.

"Healer Kid, Registered Hero ID No: 220584, Requesting Confirmation of Detonations in Kings Row."

"That is Affirmative Healer Kid, Multiple Detonations reported, hero assistance requested."

"On my way control. Healer Kid out."

He threw a last few buffs at a pair of bewildered heroes and vanished, he soon appeared in the Tiki Lounge in Pocket D, he ran through the doors and knocked over 3 dancers "Sorry!!" he called behind him "Would never have happened if I was allowed to TP in here... no offence Zero."

He reached the elevator and just as the doors were opening he teleported to the Kings Row door. The bouncer nodded to him "Knew I'd see you here eventually, its your own neighbourhood after all, the place is a mess, be careful."

He nodded and opened the door, the scene that greeted him could only be described as Anarchy.

Every villain group, Minor and Major was out in force. In every alley, a homless person was either being taken in by the Lost or being abducted for some ritual by the Circle, Skulls, Hellions and the Outcast were fighting in the streets, the whole area being free territory to whoever could be standing last. The Trolls were destroying anything not nailed down.

The more organised groups were busy looting whatever shops were in the area, Kings would never be Steel Canyon in terms of shops but there were plenty of private family run building in the area.

Something within snapped and his eyes flashed with lethal energy, he teleported forwards 10 foot and appeared before a stunned Council Galaxy Soldier. "GET OUT MY AREA!" he had transformed mid tp and was now a hulking 8ft tall winged lizard. The Galaxy ran.

He turned and began searching for other heroes and hints as to what had happened.

In actually liked the 2 suggestions there, Muscular Female body would be great.

As for the F16, how about it being a zone TP, you could use it anywhere in map (much like usual special tp) and it opens the Paragon transportation Window

Soulless? Union, are you sure.

TBH, I started on Defiant but got sick of the majority of the players on there and moved to Union.

Not saying that Defiant is a dive or anything, the typical Defiant Player NOW is 100% times better than they were, but the players that were around then is the reason my Katana/DA scrapper has been languishing at the low 30's for about 3 years.

I've had someone send a list from Paragon Wiki while doing a TF, stopped all the questions of, How many more missions are there. and it let us all know what was expected in each mission (Kill all, clicky, etc.)

Enjoy it, though I have to ask what kind of crystal ball ball you have to be able to tell us 3 weeks before Rasmus is born... 18th of July ? Didn't you mean June?
