  1. My 40 stone/SS can handle more than 17 enemies of most types. Mayhap, when viewed from a comic bookish kinda world, how couldI realistically keep attention of 17 villains? I like the "by level idea though, and realize that, unless we are to be Tappers (Scrankers?) our role is to hold the attention of the bulk of the enemies our team faces.
I still would like to know why, with 3 rech/3 taunt, I cannot pull aggro from an ivuln tank, yet, even separated by distance, he can pull it from me. This is WITH mudpots on.

The AoE of my taunt is fairly good, but things at the edge seem to lose focus on me at the slightest bit of damage from someone else.
While i'm threadjacking, Why is the animation for taunt plenty long enough for a blaster to die waiting? That part, I REALLY need an answer to.
  2. I didnt read this as a min/max guide. I have taken EVERY primary power in the stone set. My guy is only lvl 19.8, but I feel much better against CoT and Scorchers/Frostfire, with my "unneeded" armors.

Just my opin, yours may vary.
  3. Stone, as a primary, is tough to live with. I have taken EVERY available defense, only 2 attacks (3 slotted accuracy, and nothing else), and taunt. I finally picked up swift around 18. Level 19.8 now. Even with numerous slots devoted (with +2 lvl DOs, as I can) to defense, I still faceplant fairly regular.

I have no travel power. Primary, secondary, and fitness pool, for health.

The good news: If I fall the entire team goes green to red immediately. This shows that I was, indeed mitigating crazy damage. Invuln? Still standing when I fall.

I am useful, I am just finding my limits. We all should.
  4. I would love to to XP cap at +5. ONLY if they remove the acc and damage "cliff" from the current state, where, even if you can hit a +4 boss, the damage will be almost trivial, unless you are capped on damage buffs. The current state of affairs encourages the cookie cutter builds that can handle these big drops in accuracy and damage, as well as specialized team makeup to get necessary buffs. Now with an XP cap and a greatly reduced acc and damage penalty, Joe Casual can toss an extra accuracy, and damage into his attacks, or cycle his damage buffs, and take on the tuff stuff. Of course then we get into my controller in pre-purple patch, collecting lvl 25/26 SOs at 21/22. Man, was it ever nice to not spend .5 to 1 million every time I levelled.

    Changes to Rage

Forgive me for suggesting with little experience, but:
Why not get 2 tanks. Even if both are SS, just make sure rage timings off by 10 seconds....

As I said, I have an 11 inv/mace, so little to tell form experience, here...
  6. I don't post much here, or anywhere else. I didnt even know that AM had been broken officially. I kept wondering why It was seeming to be useless. Well, I guess I have my answer.
An illusion/RAD controller(currently lvl 19) is pretty much useless to a TEAM. Soloing-yeah, sure. I use my RAD debuffs, and flash blind them all, then guess what? Yep, Spectral wounds is so junky that I cannot possibly kill anything with my little remaining END. With AM on, I can sit there with everyone blind, and unable to effectively do damage(I also add defense debuffs to give a chance to hit hi exp enemies), for about 2 minutes. Then I either run or die. Thanks to pathetic illusion damage and total nerfing of AM, coupled with the COSTLY RAD set, I cannot solo. A team is less likely to group with me now, as AM was a big attractor. I don't work numbers on my powers, role-play. I'm sure this PVP is gonna screw with anyrole-play aspects now, as people seek PVP power vs a character theme, but DAMN, leave AM alone. Nerf it on open slots available max. Take waway recharge Time reducer compatibility. I dunno. While this was non- PVP I never considereed another's powerset. I just Role-played Lallendos, an in-yer face controller, who dominates the first round of battle, setting the stage for his team to destroy the enemy.

Thanks for adding PVP, and subsequently screwing my entire game up.

Guess i'd better get a scrapper or blaster, and learn the exploits....

Edit: Although I truly feel as if my char has been totally gimped, this game i s still tons more enjoyable than Lineage 2. At this point. I guess the implementation route for PVP will ultimately determine whether or not I stay. Oh, and I wouldnt really use exploits, although people worrying about "balancing" powers in a totally non-pvp environment seems odd to me.
