Terrific job, and worth every penny of influence... you should charge for real money by the way... in case you don't that is.

Good article, should be in the Scoop...

Damn... Is all you need to do to get some art is ask, or is this guy just lucky?
Another fine piece, though it looks slightly funky in some areas. The fingers look really short, though after a while I assumed that was because his fists were clenched. The face also, but in the end, the picture just works well.

Gimme a break it's a colored doodle at best... the flames took longer to do than the drawing. My apologies, but I was going for mood... (and yeah the hands suck lol)

Actually I'd say in about a week, 12 days tops... thanks for asking!

Let the flood gates open... welcome to the art forum!

Could we also get a bio, other than, he's a fire guy...
Edited to say: I wasn't trying to be rude or off putting, it was just a literal statement, that what gets me more interested is knowing the back story of a character. His origin maybe, a quirk or two about them, what made them the way they are.
I'll take a stab at this one, but it's not gonna be my best because all I know is that he flies and uses fire. So anyway, apologies if I offended anyone, and stay tuned... -
OH wait, now I'm remembering... deja vu... *sits quietly and watches for next volley*

Really? I've never seen that happen, except by posters who aren't regulars, who have the most to say (unkind that is)...

Don't be a stranger, talk to me in game on the Paragon One Channel...

Hey Powerforge,
I really liked your concept, so much so that welll... please forgive this "morning doodle" of it... Not very tight, just something to get the creative juices flowing... Hope you like it.

Sorry for the wait on this, but my schedule is pretty full, so I didn't have time till today... but I'm glad you like it -
Armani I suppose... anyhoo this was done for Hazy Greys, a player we teamed with the other week after searching for forever for someone to sk one of us. Which leads me to suggest, that another way to get free art, is to offer to help an art team, when one of their own needs to get to 50!
Anyway Hazy was kind enough to join without preamble about what we were doing or arm twisting... I promised him some art as a thank you, hope you like it mate!

I like Illustrator, but I pretty much only use it for Vector art.

You don't know what your missing Dirtwolf... click the brush tool twice till the properties box opens, then uncheck "keep selected", and DRAW with the brush tool like a real brush, with perfect curve correcting precision...
Check out this industry pro who does it: Brian Denham, he does Iron Man...
I use a white brush for corrections, like instant white out, and then I export the finish into a jpg which I color in Photoshop. You may have to expand your drawing to resize the size of the artboard, but if you select the whole thing with the black selection tool, you can hold shift and decrease the size without line weight loss. But you probably know that part if you've done vector art...
Anyway, have fun!

As punishment, you now must make an alt based on A Separate Peace.

Okay after reading the Wiki explanation of that book, I officially want to slap you AND your english teachers... -

Hmm, reminds me of Jun of the Gatchaman anime series... or as we use to know it, "G-Force!"

I also think the 2nd version is too far removed from the original more "classic" looking idea. I wasn't bothered by the hood, but what I did for my heroine (namesake) was use the blank eye-plates to give it sort of that huge "spidey" eye look.
I'm actually thrown off by the blue which is your dominant color, so while the badge IS red, imho the blue is distracting...
Altogether your toon looks more like the flag of some foreign country... I would make the blues into dark navy or grey, and the yellow maybe white or tan. I like the chest symbol a lot and the toon concept/name is great. But isn't "red badge" connotative of a Russian Captain America kind of thing?
