LAME!
Oh well.
Maybe if I hang onto it I'll come across someone who can trade me for a female locked costume code. -
Anyone get themselves one of the Praetorian Olympian Guard costumes from the hero registration cards & able to tell me if its Gender locked?
I.E if I put the code on my female toon, am I going to turn into a male Praetorian Olympian Guard, because that would not be desirable in the slightest & very very disappointing. -
I can certainly make a chibi for you, Sumpfkraut!

Thanks, Vexxa. I do post when I do something CoX related ^_^

The problem with Time Travel is occasionally, photos of things that don't exist yet show up in places they shouldn't. -
I had the same problem. Completely uninstalling the Launcher but not City of Heroes and deleting the remnant Launcher folder then reinstalling worked for now.
I am in Windows 7 64 bit.
I am going to get really shirty of I have to do this uninstall/ reinstall dance everything they update.
Its really, really not cool. -
They have just updated the contest rules to say that the Judges themselves will have the final decision on the 12 girls chosen and that whilst the popular vote will factor heavily if they don't think the top winners fit what they want or need then they won't be selected.
Which I'm glad to hear!
Please keep voting for me. -
Thank you, BrandX!
Hope everyone is voting once a day for me ^_^ -
Hehe yeah, Ninjapirate. This is why cosplay girls get a reputation for being vapid twits who are only doing it for the attention.

It happens. If I win, I'd rather it be for the strength of my cosplaying skills, not the size of my boobs.

Quote:I don't mind what you do, you're welcome to anything that stokes to fires of inspiration. So if I was to draw one, YOU would prefer I do the Vampirella? I know what CR wants...
If you ever want larger, high res versions of something for drawing purposes just let me know. Some of the older ones I lost access too when my computer crashed but I've got decent sized versions of most of my costumes. Probably 80% of them. -
Thank you, everyone!! Appreciate it muchly.
Yes, Biff is a little.... over enthusiastic.... I've met him around the convention circuit so I know he is harmless but he is the quintessential stereotypical socially inept nerd who doesn't understand that sometimes how he phrases things isn't exactly the done thing.
Being that way myself I'm a lot more tolerant of that type of a personality than some of my fellow female cosplayers. I was bullied growing up and for many years my best friends were comic books to so I get it.
A lot of the female cosplayers got into it just for the attention, or their boyfriends put them up to it so if a guy says 1 thing wrong they get all "Oh mi gawd, pervert!!" and freak out without ever considering that perhaps he didn't mean it that way. -
Quote:Speaking of, I just did a graveyard photo shoot as Vampirella. There's a couple shots up on DA, if you're interested. You haven't even seen her Vampirella yet... you'll want to draw that too... I mean her, I mean those hips...

Quote:Likely, I have all my costumes up there.
By the way, great costumes! I've seen some of them before but I'm not sure where. dA account, maybe?

Ironik: its spandex held on with Spirit Gum, although when I wore it at San Diego Comic Con I sweated through the Spirit Gum and had to haul *** back to the hotel room before it fell off me!
In hindsight, perhaps I should have made it out of pink duct tape hehehe.
CaptainFoamerang: I actually have White Lantern Wonder Woman on my costume to do list, as well as a couple haute couture versions put out by Tonner Dolls.
Powerstream: I, personally, was in Australia, and 12.... LOL
Thank you, everyone, for the votes. I really appreciate it!
You can vote once every 24 hours too, so feel free to double and triple vote -
So long as you don't use the City of Heroes/ Villains trademark in any way, you should be fine, same with the lady selling the pictures of herself as your toon.
She may also want to avoid using the exact name of your character on her pictures and, if she does title them, go with something generic. I recommend this as I know costume and prop makers who can get away with offering a Captain America costume for sale by offering it as "Patriotic Hero".
Costume makers who don't generic the names of their products risk being hit with Cease and Desists by Marvel or DC. I've been a cosplayer for many years and I've seen a lot, including people getting shut down by Marvel.
Personally though, I'd love to see the finished product that you and your cosplayer create. I've been slowly working on a costume for myself of my own character for use at SDCC but it keeps getting put on the back burner hehehe.

Hi, everyone.
I've entered myself in a cosplay contest hoping to win a chance to attend GenCon2011. If anyone has a few moments to spare and would be kind enough to drop me a vote, I would really, really appreciate it!

The character in the pictures is Star Sapphire from the Green Lantern Comics, aka Carol Ferris and yes, that is really me in all that pink.
You can vote once a day every day until June 3rd and I am begging for help. So pretty, pretty please.
Thank you in advance.

Can the outcome be that Primal Cole steals Emperor Cole's fancy white suit, because seriously, Statesman needs some new duds.
