You could also throw in something about seeding your clouds with silver iodide. That happens too, usually with an airplane though.
There might be a wiki page on cloud seeding that'd explain the process better. -
Quote:Oh, thank you but I already know of chases work. If you look at the www.cohcomicindex.com link I put in the first part of the thread, some of his work is there (as is mine).
I was trying to find euro comic makers and their work... or american comic makers/work that I havnt found yet.
Thank you though.
I think most of the American dudes post down in the Fanart section. -
Quote:Whilst I am not entirely sure that my surname Scots or Irish, cant find any information earlier than the mid 1600's, I can say that I am the proud owner of a couple of these "man skirts" as she calls them and I will happily do the same. Then again, I don't get a chance to chase girls anymore. My wife frowns on that kind of thing.
I'm a dirty American but my maiden name is Scott. Whatcha think, maybe a little Scottish in thar somewhere? -
I'm not sure if he's still doing them but Chase Arcanum did two of the comics listed on the main page, the I-12 was a joint work between him and Cinder Flame. I bet he's got some tips and stuff.
I can PM a link to this thread if y'all want.

We've been playing with him up in the Euro Lounge and City Life. He might need a little recuperation time.
Sorry dear. -
Quote:As other folks have mentioned, though, it's not the devs' call about who gets hired. The rednames might want to hire me (yeah, whatever), but they answer to someone higher up.

The devs could tweet... (twit? Tw... no more, no) or whatever to them thar higher-ups.

Quote:Aw, don't fear I still read the forums. I just don't post much. That and we're busy fixing things in I16 so it'll be ready for launch as soon as possible.
I ended up getting on Twitter just before Comic-con so I could follow what was happening there and give tiny updates from the convention.
If any of y'all leave us for twittering tweets and twits, I'ma go a little nuts. -
Quote:You can still buy peanut butter Lion bars in poland.
Eco.
Probably a stupid question but this thread stirred my curiosity and I had to check at the grocery store. The one I usually go to has an aisle dedicated to several other regions and countries. There's Mexican, Italian, Jewish/Kosher and... *drumroll* a British section. So I looked. And yeah, there's a Lyon Bar and Marmite and a bunch of other interesting looking things and now I have to know.
What the heck is that!?!?! -
Quote:On the Virtue server, I've had a Mercs/Traps character called "Extremist Insurgent" for around a year. Somehow, I got genericed and got this response: "This message is being sent to notify you that the name of one of your characters has been changed because it contained inappropriate language, in violation of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct." Right, like the Malta group aren't terrorists? I mean, I was in City of VILLAINS! Does anyone think I should not have been genericed for that name?
EDIT: NB: I am identifying with EXTREMISTS.
You can always respond to the email and try to appeal the decision. Sometimes it works. -
Quote:While I am not privy to the inner working of the NCSoft cabal, I'd be inclined to believe that the marketing of the game is actually done out of Austin at NCSoft rather than out of Mountainview at Paragon Studios.
If true, you may be preaching to the wrong choir.
But they know who to call.

Quote:Then again, keep in mind that you're talking to people who think in dimensions such as 3/8 of an inch (which incidentally is roughly 1 cm or 10 mm).
I only need a 3/8 when I'm working on the car. The computers take smaller ones and I think they're metric, but I'm not sure, I just use whatever fits.

I can neither confirm nor deny the intent of Roman Numerals at this time.

Quote:We use litres and kilometres, you backward Yanks.
Seriously, the Metric System uses 2nd-grade level maths, just add zeroes and it all makes sense. What's so hard about it?
Zero means nothing and if you stare at the nothingness it starts staring back at you, into you... past you...
Worse than the mouse, way worse. -
Quote:It is one of the best parts of the merger that we all have the ability to PM devs. I just didn't mention it earlier in this thread just-in-case it causes the devs to get a deluge of PMs...
I don't think all y'all could deluge them as much as we have in the past.
Uhm... then again, let's not try to top that...

Quote:Take a look at this. The mouse is trying to take over the world. We all know it. Which is why we must invest in cats. Nothing handles mice like a decent (insert appropriate feline synonym here, according to your sense of humour).
Quote:A study published recently in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America makes the case that ages ago cats deliberately and cunningly domesticated themselves and so they could persuade people to give them free food and shelter sometimes against their owners' better judgment.
Cats do not perform directed tasks and their actual utility is debatable, even as mousers, wrote the study authors. Accordingly, there is little reason to believe an early agricultural community would have actively sought out and selected the wildcat as a house pet.
Once in our houses, cats apparently began to train us to give them exactly what they wanted.
